Stress, medications, reflux disease, gastritis, hepatitis, migraine; CNS causes are few conditions presenting wit nausea and headache. You will need antacids and medications for your cough. Take light food.

Have you looked at the signs and symptoms of GERD or GORD. This is chronic reflux which causes heatburn and gas. Increased stomach acid after eating exacerbates symptoms as does the sleeping position. Usually the GP will prescribe PPI's like Omeprazole. If you aint happy taking meds, try some lifestyle changes. Google GERD and GORD though and you'll get some good info.

I have seen lots of doctors --9 in the past two months and none have found anything so far... But I frequently get extremely bad gas that causes chest pains and belching excessively , I mean like I have to belch back to back for an hour or more or else I feel like I can't breathe. when you say excessive gas, do you mean you are passing gas a lot? Or there is pressure? Most ibs causes issues in the lower ab, not upper. Is it causing chest pain? If so, that may be more of an acid reflux type deal, or possibly even both.

Perhaps I have less acid reflux now, but gosh just acid reflux is controlled not the whole reflux thing. Non-acid reflux might be causing this too, possible?

Acid reflux most likely. The acid causes excess gas, which bloats you and presses against your lungs. I've had a few situations like this. Me, I take Prevacid in the morning and I keep my meals smaller.

Depression is taking over and I really just don’t know what to do anymore. I know that it’s not what I eat because it happens even when I don’t eat. Long story short, I had a barium swallow test that showed significant reflux and was prescribed a PPI. After a few weeks the arrythmia and swallow triggered went away. I've been on the PPI's for many years now without issue but the swallow trigger returned a few days ago. It is so uncomfortable to eat or swallow as I immediately feel several palpitations. It was suspected that the vagus nerve was the culprit.

I have had a dull ache and and sometimes mild burning sensation right side under ribs and sometimes left side or right int he middle and around to my back sometimes and up into my esophagus like I have to burp.I always feel like a have gas rumbling around and often have intestinal gas as well.
