the previous symptoms from what i read point to HYPOthyroidism but the losing of weight points to HYPERthyroidism . how is it that i would have all the symptoms of one disease except for the one that most people tell me is most relevant ? is it possible to have both ? needless to say im clueless on the issue and my physical or emotional state only makes me more reluctant to seee a doctor because i fear what they will tell me . can anyone sort this one out ?
burn it so it peel or looks better, I don't know what to do or how to stop..... When I am around people I swear they are looking at my scars or my caked on make-up.......... gosh I could go on forever..... MY one wish... I could get my facial scars taken away polished off and have a second change........
and hoping to be normal again. Even if in the end it is a coroner.. someone tell my family what happened to me. Some of my list may mean nothing.. but you never know.. so I am including it all. Migraine headaches. started in High school but only occasional. Between 2003 and 2009 I was in the ER 23 times with a migraine. Most migraines I dealt with at home as best I could. I would say from age 16 I have always had a headache every day... just the degree of pain varies.
The lady didn't use gloves, used her fingernails (which could have had blood in them) to peel off the hot wax, touched my labia with her fingers, and put her hand on my skin which was bleeding at the time. I honestly don’t remember if her hand were bleeding or not, as I was in too much pain to pay attention. I know that she is no longer working at the salon where I got waxed, and that she was an “independent” waxer (I doubt as to whether she was even licensed).
What does the body lack that causes fingernails to have grooves/lines either verticle or horazontal on them ? Also paper-thin nails that tend to peel off in layers ? I know this indicates the body is lacking some mineral - but which one ? I take several already but my nails get worse.
I have found some relief by using probiotics. But I don't want to encourage anyone to take them if that's not what they really need. As I said earlier, if it aint broke dont fix it. I know I need it because in addition to my causing others allergic reactions I have all types of body odors plus chronic constipation. So I know probiotics should help me some. I will keep you posted. Thanks guys, and keep posting.
So, recently my fingers began to peel back from the tip. It started with my index and middle finger on my left hand. The top of my big toes calised, and they began to peel too. Over time, all my fingers began to do the same thing. Now, all my fingers (and thumbs) are peeling, and the palm of my left hand is too. There is also pitting on both index fingernails and my left thumb nail. On top of that, I had a friend tell me my fingers look swollen.
I am a busy college student, who unfortunately does not have the time and money to deal with this.
Well after the operation I thought I'd better cut down as constipation was real bad issue, up to 45mins to pass what seemed like an Elephant, I even ruptured a nose blood vessel with the straining at one time, and as a friend who had had the same operation was off painkillers after 3 weeks I thought now's the time. ( 05/12/07 ) So taking the bull by the horns I cut down to 40mg 2x a day, and never expected what happens next.
But then days or weeks later my thumb and index finger crack up and start to bleed and I can use those fingers at all because If I put pressure it hurts like crazy. I've been researching of what to use but this discussions help to know what does and doesn't help. If you have a cure please let me know.
this winter i will really have to focus on ending my bad habit once and for all. stress is what causes it but i know that once i train myself to avoid it for at least 2 months i will be ok for the rest of my life. to all the toe nail pickers who read this dont give up. all we have is a bad habit that relieves stress and we should be trying to quit because doing bodily harm is not normal. open wounds can let in infections and all sorts of problems.
Its been a year now.. But it started out with 4-6 little bumps on my left forth finger around my joint area.I popped one out came the clear fluid so i washed my hands and put a banned aid on it. A few hrs later it started to itched like hell. Itched like hell for a min until the burning sensation made the finger feel a little better. Probably because it was raw and bleeding. The itching goes away few days later my skin darkend where I itched the most with flakey scabs.
I'm not looking for a cure or tips on keeping the peeling at bay, i just want to know what it is so i know what to do when i have an especially bad outbreak.
I blame it on my eczema but my eczema cream doesn't help it at all. I wish a doctor would respond to what exactly it is. I hate to point to places for people to sign or initial at work to find them staring at my hand, or when my husband caresses my hand came brushes across a patch of skin as rough as cement. Some advise please! !!!
We have help at home (not a nurse but a house keeper) who accompanies her on her walks etc as well as the house work. But i don't know what to do to help her at this stage and it breaks my heart. We are a middle eastern family and express love and emotion easily, and have at times indulged her. At times i feel doing too much for her may have helped her becoming careless and lazy, ultimately, for her independence.
Now I can hear what you are thinking, what about all the health workers who get needlesticked that must add up to a fair old chunk. The facts are that in the UK in 2004 six [thats right 6] health workers caught hep c via needlesticks. http://www.hepcuk.info/content/news/story.asp?nid=1&sid=302 When all said and done all we are debating is whether hep c is mostly a "junkie" disease, overwhelmingly a "junkie" disease or almost always a "junkie" disease.
Hi, DE causes small fluid-filled blisters to form. The blisters can last up to three to four weeks, and cause intense itching.DE stands for dyshidrotic eczema, not very commonly seen. Also doctors are also unsure of what causes the disease and how to treat it. Some of the signs and symptoms can be: Small bumps begin to form on your hands or the bottom of your feet. Intense itching that can almost be unbearable. Cracks and grooves (fissures) form on your hands, feet or toes.
My mom and dad have no smoked pot, so they claim and never drink or claim to have ever been even intoxicated. So for there son to be a junkie, they had no clue what to do with me or a clue on what i was going through. So i was just shipped off to rehab after rehab for about a year and a half, in different ****** towns in TX, seeing no family or most importantly friends that entire time.
I took pictures as my neck kept getting more red and looked almost as if a had was there. Id really like to find out what causes this to happen but i know some things just cant be explained.
I have the same thing and have gone to the dermatologist and regular doctor and they have just given me cream to put on it but it has one foot looking like its infected, cant wear flip flops and usually comes during the warm season along with once or twice other times of the year, I too want to know what it is and how to get rid of it.
It seems to do the trick for him with almost instant relief, but I still have no answer as to what is causing it. If anyone has any clue on what this is please let me know!!!
Elizabeth Arden MAC NO7 Make-up thats okay (for me anyway) Lancome, YSL and Estee Lauder espically for foundations and concealer, there pricey but worth it for red itch free skin! Never put make up over to cover and only use vaseline on clean dry skin. Over use of hydrocortisone/betnovate can thin skin but if desperate they do provide instant relief, if you are in dire straits it can be used sparingly but mix with vaseline before hand to dilute the concentration, it works just as well.
I am unable to hear unless my ear is directed at what I am trying to hear. Some times they get so bad I have to go to the ENT specialist and have stuff suctioned from my ear once a week for about six weeks. Regular eardrops whether it is antibiotics, steroids, or whatever only make the situation worse. I got Domboro drops which helped with the goo. My ears still get dry and flakey. If I don't address the issue immediately, it will get worse.
) please oh please if you have any ideas of what i may be doing wrong or what i can do to help my poor eyes let me know!!! anything will help at this point!
Do Real Doctors come on this forum? I would like to know, what causes these, and what can be done to heal them. At times, when the outbreak is bad, it can be quiet painful, as I'm not able to use my hands and fingers without touching the bumps and making the pain increase. They are not puss filled and are almost solid. Please help!
I hadn't worn any make-up or used any products on or near my eyes at all on Sunday, so I'm confused as to what caused it to return. On Monday and Tuesday, several people commented on the state of my eyes, especially the right one, which seemed to be in a worse condition. My eyelids were dry and painful to touch, especially in the corner and it was continuously weeping, until yesterday afternoon when it seemed to heal up to the point where it looked sore, but no longer felt it.
I am a 52 year old female and i have been getting these broken blood vessels on and off for years. I get them on my fingers and toes. Tonight it was on my toe. My daughter who is a RN had no idea why this would happen. My father who is 83 gets this too and so does my sister in law. I am so glad to hear that others get it too. I am thin, athletic with low blood pressure. I do have low platelets and have a border line low thyroid problem. Other wise I am in good health.
Any concerns or problems You have are definately worth mentioning to Your psychiatrist that is what they're are there for to speak to about any of your problems and they can not help you best unless you bring these up.
I will treat this for the next 2 months just to be certain. IF NOTHING ELSE USE THE CLOVE OIL TO STOP THE ITCH. What do you have to lose? Everything can be bought on Amazon. Don't forget to spray your keyboard with ERADICATOR..
I myself feel lost and not sure what to do because from what ive been reading, it seems like the creams/moisturizers and medications do not really help so much.
