But i also have 'hyves-like' (i thinks, my family docter thinks 'rosacea-like') things on both sides of my head, behind my ears, on my chest, and onder my hair (at the border hair-skin). It doesn't itch or hurt. But it's not going away....
Could these bumps be normal or just cysts perhaps, by the way they dont show up as lumps behind my ears I can just feel them under the skin, they are very small about pea kind of size and as I say have never bothered me (I dont get a disproportionate amount of unexplained headaches and they dont hurt t touch).
This moring I felt large areas on unhealed raw wet flesh behind both ear lobes and the area burns. What is that about? Is this normal for day 12 post op? It seemed like right after the surgery the ear lobes were sewed back onto the sides of my face, but have somehow ripped away. Please explain. Will this leave bad scarring? This discussion is related to face lift recovery.
I have developed flakey dry skin behind my ears after a series of bumps formed along them. The dry skin is where my ears connect to my head and has spread as a red rash along my hairline and in two lines down my sides from the ears. I developed this the day after using a hot tub and can't help but feel this may be related. It also appears to have spread to my girlfriend so appears to be contagious. If anybody can explain this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
I have these recurring bumps that form around my ears. Mostly wear my ear touches my skull (behind or under the earlobe). They only hurt if I apply lots of pressure and their the skin colored. I'm just curious as to what they are? They'll be gone for a while and then I'll just find another new one at random.
If the lump increases in size, becomes painful, changes color, bleeds, changes shape or consistency or more similar lumps appear then consult a doctor. Alternatively you can consult your PCP to know what the lumps behind the ears are. Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

I've been using calamine lotio and alcohol, for the itching and taking Benadryl. Does anyone have any other suggestions? the bumps are red, itchy and they do burn at times.
At this time i began to feels lumps on my lymph nodes behind BOTH ears. There seems to be 3-4 bumps behind each ear. The bumps on the right side are painful and soft but on the left side are painless and hard. Also, before any of this about 3 weeks ago i began feeling itching in different places on my body like chest and abdomen. I have no fever or sore throat or night sweats. Please let me know what's going on.. could it be lymphoma?

I have a lump behind my right ear that is rather larger than the normal one I have behind the left. I have been felling dizzy for about a week, and my balance is off. What should I do.

I ask my doctor about the one behind my ear he told my it had something to do with fine hairs, I asked anther doctor about it and she told me it could be assist and that i couldn't remove it because it was attach to one of my mane glands. I recently just discover another bump under my armpit, both on my major glands i havn't seen a doctor yet, but i don't have to know something is wrong with me.
When I started taking the medication for my thyroid and my levels became normal, my itchy ears magically disappeared! However, I had another baby. It wasn't until she was 6 months old that I got itchy ears again. My thyroid was off again, but this time my ears remained itchy after my medication was regulated. Needless to say, I am very frustrated. Now it is spreading to around my nose and above and below my eyes.
a day later it spread then I got bumps on my forehead behind ears, on my neck and on my eye lids, and it is slightly itchy on my cheeks? what could this be?what do I need to get rid of this?
I just got out of the shower and the bumps are extremely red and now are starting to hurt. Are your previous thoughts still balanitis? I saw your response to the member 'Tiger600' who seemed to have similar symptoms and you said it may be a yeast infection. Is it possible that may be what I have aswell? I also feel like because I have had this for 14+ days now, it couldn't be a allergic reaction could it?
ok so a month ago i started to itch really bad behind my ears, then it went to my back..it was horrible, they itched non stop. and then they all started to scab up and just when i thought it was going away, i started to itch in random places all over my body. my legs, thighs, side of my face, and especially my stomach, it itches so bad that i scratch until they scab and then it goes away, but it still leaves a scar.... what could this possibly be?? could it have to do with tanning??
I went to a dermatoligist yesterday because I have been breaking out with little bumps all over my forehead which have now spread down the the temples, behind my ears and most recently, the cheek area and back of my neck and shoulders. The doctor said I had sebacious hyperplasia and there was nothing I could do about it. I have not been able to find any info. Can you help me to understand what I have? I'm 48 and no one in my family has this problem.
My teeth ache all the time and sometime the pain gets so bad it hurts behind my eye in my head and in my ears. Some of the teeth have small holes forming on them and one has a black spot. The others have since broke in half or close and have black bumps exposed and whenever i eat or drink anything it hurts terribly. This wasn't that bad until i got pregnant now it is so much worse. What can i do? I brush my teeth 4 times a day i floss and i gargle with warm salt water and listerine.
3 months after unprotected exposure I have been living with pimples for 2 months now which started under my lip and around my nose and can now be found anywhere and everywhere around my body. They can be found in my hair, behind my ears, my legs, back, chest etc. I had them really badly on my face and they were so painful. On my face they looked like acne. I itch every day. The only places that I don't seem to get them is the soles of my feet and the palms of my hands.
I get bumps behind my ears that are often sore. It's weird; they come and go. I've read that stress can bring them on? Also, how are your boobs? I would suggest, if the itching doesn't stop, you go to the doctor. VERY RARELY, itching on the breasts could be the sign of something more serious.
I have had recurring bumps show up on the back of my neck, the top and sides of my head, and around my ears. Occasional bumps rise on my upper back, stomach, buttocks and the back of my thighs. The most severe and painful are the ones on my neck and head. Recently, in taking some allergy medication, I noticed the redness and itching going away. After the allergy medication stopped, the bumps came back with a vengeance. They do not seem to be normal acne. They do not form a head.
About a week ago i noticed small red bumps on my stomach and as the days went by it started spreading all over my body. There are no bumps on my legs or face though. I only have a few on my lower arms and like 3 bumps on my neck. But my torso and lower back are covered with them. The weird thing is that they don't itch at all!! I been checking all different websites and question from people but all their bumps itch really bad, so it really doesn't help me out too much.
My child is 2 and has had this rash for several days now. The bumps are not close together, clear and raised and do not itch. They are on his arms, hands, legs, feet, and a few on his forehead and behind his ears, but none on his trunk or back at all. This rash doesn't bother my child but it looks bothersome. They look like tiny pimples that can not be popped. They do not have pus because they are so small and they are not red, just a clear hard, blister looking bump.
I attributed this to sleeping on that side and tucking my hair behind my ear. When I found a lump right behind my ear lope but on my neck, that was large and visible, I became worried and went to the doc. The day before my appoint, poof my ear was completely back to normal. Doc couldnt tell anything said might have been a severe ear infection and come back if it returns. Just over a week later it returned, super itchy, hot and lumpy, including lump behind the lobe.
Please help, Iv'e had This rash with little itchy red bumps for two weeks this next weds. I've been to the dr. and the Urgent care where not just one Dr. but MULTIPLE drs. and nurses came in to look at it and can not figure out what it is,it itch's really badly!!
I've had mine for a couple of weeks along with very dry hands from what I believe is from using harsh soap (anti-bacteria) and baby wipes (have a ten month old). My bumps are also on the right hand. They are on the inside of my index finger (left side from the knuckle to the top) and on my pinky finger (from the knuckle down). I do have a lot of stress in my life at the moment. I've tried aquaphor, Vaseline, cortisone from the drug store and so far nothing is working.
Hi amesw, Did you ever figure out what the tiny bumps on your lips were? My symptoms sound exactly like what you have. I also have thought that it could possibly be Fordyce, but the small patch of bumps on my lip are sooo tiny and are the same color as my lip that it doesn't seem to match the Fordyce symptoms. Like you, my lips are dry (they normally are not) and the small patch of very tiny bumps feels scaly when i run my tongue over it.
