VE SUFFERED FROM PANIC DISORDERS FOR A LONG AS I REMEMBER. SO I WENT TO MY PHYCHITRIST AND SHE SUBSCRIBE WELLBUTRIN XL FOR A BOOSTER. PERHAPS TO HELP MY EMOTIONAL EATING AND DEPRESSION. I'VE BEEN ON IT FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW FIRST 150 MGS FOR 7 DAYS THEN 300MGS THAT I'M AT NOW.

You may not need anything but the Wellbutrin to be honest with you. I have OCD which leads to anxiety and then to depression. I was on Prozac many years ago and I tried those other drugs over the past year when it reared its ugly head again but I choose Wellbutrin. I was initially on 150 XL like you but I needed a boost when my OCD kicked into overdrive so I went to 300 XL. It did make me more jittery at first but after about 4-6 weeks, it went away and I feel GREAT!

Have you noticed an increase in attacks as well as severity? I have been on Wellbutrin XL 150mg for 17 days now and in that time I have had several mini anxiety surges but also like 3 SEVERE attacks (shaking, jaw clenching, heart pounding, feeling like I am dying or flipping out). These have all occurred just before bed time (10:30ish) or just after I fall asleep. I wake up suddenly and feeling terrified.

My dr, said she looked it up in her book, and Wellbutrin XL 150mg, is only prescribed for SAD and to quit smoking. She did not want to prescribe the XL at all no mater what I said. She prescribed me Regular Wellbutrin 100mg twice per day. I do not want the regular wellbutrin as it will make me shakey, and I will not follow through with taking 2 pills per day...

Yeah, I am thinking the same thing about the Wellbutrin not being for me...I have slight OCD but major panic and anxiety and I just OVERTHINK everything...I just started the zoloft a few weeks ago and it really doesn't seem to be kicked in yet. I have to take the Xanax... I am not addicted I only take .25 or.5 at a time and have gone for days not taking it but I am going through a rough time right now...

I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. I did ask the pharmacist, and he said that yes, this is okay.

I didn't realize how bad it was So I know I have an obsession with cleaning , organizing, disinfecting everything, going out in public but I didn't realize there are other things. I have been having obsessive doubts about my relationship, always needing husbands approval, I hide credit cards in fear of spending everything we have. ( this is easy because I have been having problems with my memory.

I don't think XL and SR and really different. I'm not really sure why they have both. I take 150 of XL and it makes me feel more energetic. Maybe consider what time of day you take it, If you take it with food or not, etc. Let your doc know even if it goes away.

I take bupropion (Wellbutrin) but I take it for OCD/Anxiety. I believe I have undiagnosed ADD as well. For me it works well for my OCD/Anxiety. The ADD, well I have lived with that for so long that I think I have just found ways around the attention problems that I have so I can't really say that it helps or doesn't with that particular part of my life. Wellbutrin enhances dopamine and norepinehprine which can help with mood and attention, but sometimes actually increases anxiety. If you try Wellbutrin, start at a low dose and see how if affects you.

I was on 150 mg XL of Wellbutrin and doing okay until this past May. My OCD/anxiety got the best of me and I had to up it to 300 mg. Once I got that in my system, I've done really well. I have had 1 panic attack (or near panic attack...I stopped it) since May. By long-term I was referring to something like Wellbutrin. I don't need to take any klonopin during the day but I do take 1 mg at night to sleep. Frankly, I was surprised that Wellbutrin worked for me.

Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that there shouldn't be any contraindication to taking Ibuprofen, Acetominophen or Aleve with those two medications. Hope that helps!

I have now been taking 150mg of Wellbutrin XL for about three months, and have noticed no imprvement. If anything, my libido has diminished even more. Since most people report a boost in sex drive with the Wellbutrin, I was wondering if I am just an atypical case, or if perhaps my dosage is not high enough to experience the improvement. m on 225 reg. Wellbutrin. The XL, extended release tablets stayed in my system long into the evening strong and kept me from being able to sleep well. I take it first thing in the morning as soon as I wake up.

why so i have moments of ups and downs on my wellbutrin. Should I increase my dosage?

I have been on Xanax 2mg twice a day that controls panic attacks. Recently I was put on Wellbutrin XL discovered that Xanax and Wellbtrin both help with Dopamine. Does Xanax make me sleepy--I don't think so, Melatonin 1mg at night helps me sleep well. Melatonin seems to have hangover affect. I have to take Xanax around five in the afternoon to prevent major panic attacks. Do not get sleepy in the afternoon Xanax of 2mg in morning and 2 mg in the early evening.

I got my period for the normal 5 days and have been spotting for 5 MORE DAYS AND COUNTING! Is this one of the "start up" side effects or a permanent thing???

I took Wellbutrin for 20 years, and ended up with drug induced lupus, I know I am very very rare, but I don't know about cirhosis ? Do you have to take an antidepressant , maybe diet, exercise, and once you are cured with new oral treatments allot of the depression goes away, I promise you that I take nothing now and am doing very very good When do you start treatment ?
