My psych dr just prescribed wellbutrin xl twice a day for me bacause I felt like it wore off really bad around 4 int he afternoon. So I take it at 7 am and then at 3 pm to ward of that awful LOW feeling later. 150 mg each time. Total 300 mg for the 24 hrs. Hope this works.

I just got off prozac after being on it a year,Im still on wellbutrin sr 150 mg twice a day and thyroid meds and hormones...has any one tried any of these supplements? And do you know if they are safe to take with wellbutrin sr?

today im dropping back to 2 and try that,i hust feel like since i was on 150 mg sr twice a day that 2 of the xl might work...im on my 3rd day of no prozac..i read on line where the 450 mg is not unusual..i may need that much with out the prozac..i dont know i just want my sexx liofe back..the hormones and thyroid problem was finally found and i believe thats whats been going on all these years,not depresssion.

Is anyone getting ringing in the ears from taking Generic Wellbutrin(Bupropion sr ) 150 mg. Here is my situation I have been on amitriptiline 25 mg 4 years then went up to 50 mg for 3 years. I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. My husband was taking Wellbutrin sr 150 the doctor upped him to 200 sr and they gave him buprion 200 sr(on the bottle it says just Bupr). He had lots of energy on the Wellbutrin sr150 and was a pleasure to be arounds, but on this 200 buprionsr he goes to sleep and is like snappen at me all the time.
