Avatar m tn s no medical research to support claims that Xenadrine RFA-1 is effective for weight loss or reducing body fat.
Avatar f tn t have to be super high protein like some weight loss companies tell you) low fat, low carb (not none or your body could also go into survival mode after some time on that diet). Don't go to extremes on anything and you will be fine. The second main part is the exercise. When I lost the 100lbs, I was working out 6 days a week. It was daunting to say the least and it will NEVER be easy but you have to accept that it is part of losing weight. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!!

Avatar n tn I'm 26 and pregnant. A few years ago I was taking twice the recommended dose of Ripped Fuel and Xenadrine and taking 8-12 tablets of dulcolax to loose weight and I wasn't eating and exercising excessively. Now I have really low blood pressure, possible mitrovalve prolapse, frequent panic attacks. Every time I stand up my vision starts to go black. To walk across the room my heart rate and resperations go way up. I often feel dizzy, nausea, and weak even when sitting or laying down.
Avatar n tn I'm on week 31 of tx. The HepC is no longer active and I only have 17 weeks remaining on the program. The results are very positive. However, I still suffer from all the major side effects and had to go on leave to try and just focus on my health. The most important one to me has been my weight loss. Since the beginning, 03/09, I've lost 60 lbs and am still loosing. My appetite has been little to none, but I am attempting to change that.
Avatar m tn You can drink coffee to speed it up and also antioxidants to increase the number and motility. Limit your alcohol consumption and no diet drugs like xenadrine. You should get a sperm anaylsis if your haven't already. Just becuase you are 43 doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your sperm potential.

Avatar m tn Checking weight is part of just about every doctor's visit I've had lately. Thyroid dysfunction tends to have symptom of weight loss or weight gain, so it's logical to get your weight at every appointment. I sense there's more to this...

Avatar n tn Huge amounts of weight may take time but weight can be lost on a daily basis. Weight loss over a day or week seems more tangible, more real somehow. And definitely more motivating. I don't think intense dieting should ever be part of a plan. Restricting may also jeopardize potential weight loss. I think there are many variables that contribute to successful weight loss but I think mind-set is perhaps the most important.
Avatar f tn I have IBS and wonder if it's connected to my continuing weight loss, which is getting out of hand. The bigger picture is that I have autoimmune issues: sjogren's, arthritis and fibro, and I have Gerd. Also, 25 years ago, I was put on prosac and gained 60 lbs., despite healthy eating and continued exercise I stopped it after 16 years because of this, and began losing. Now I've lost more than 80 lbs.
Avatar n tn Hi, If there is no significant history of trauma, weight loss, pain and itchiness, this may not be something urgent. However, the linear pattern is quite peculiar for a rash. I suggest that you have this assessed by a dermatologist. There are cases of linear patterns of dermatitis or eczema but I do not think this is the case for your son. Have you tried applying anything on the area? Did the lines occur suddenly or is this something that has occurred intermittently through the years?
Avatar m tn ok i I have had sex with girl scw unprotected sex.
Avatar m tn Your 63 year-old wife has a several year history of heart arrhythmias, rapid heart rate, heat intolerance, and weight loss with repeatedly normal thyroid results. The third-generation TSH assays that are used these days are highly sensitive, so yes, the tests would have more than likely picked up on a thyroid abnormality. Bulging eyes, an enlarged thyroid (goiter), non-pitting edema of the extremities are other clues that would make your doctor suspect Grave’s hyperthyroidism.
Avatar f tn And my periods will hopefully stay regular with the weight loss!
4380772 tn?1353721263 Even if no one joins I will still do this, because I have to, I have to pretend that my weight loss is going to mean some thing to someone other then me to make me stick to it. Good Luck!!!!

Avatar f tn I do in home oxygen therapy 24/7 but am breaking away from it, since starting my weight loss program.
Avatar n tn Come to find out Metformin and Lipitor side effects are diahrrea and due to that you will lose some weight. Both medication targets weight loss my Doctor says, no need to be alarmed. It's safe.
Avatar n tn I remember at the time that my Dr said I was slightly over medicated but if I felt good and was able to lose some weight it was ok that I stay there for a while. Over 6 months I have managed to lose about 22lbs. At one point we adjusted my dose of synthroid to 150 and cut back to one cytomel. My last bloodwork back in Aug had my tsh at .017. I am pretty sure my free t3 was normal but I don't know the numbers.
Avatar f tn You are on the right track with weight loss! That will help your blood pressure and diabetes both. I hope a good aerobic exercise program is part of your weight loss campaign. If you were my patient, I would want the blood pressures and blood sugars controlled BEFORE conception as that will reduce your risk of birth defects. I would also advise you to stop smoking if you do(you don't do you?).
Avatar f tn my numbers are: TSH 2.3 (.40-4.00); Free T4 .73 (.70-1.8); Free T3 3.1 (2.3-5.0) My doses: Tirosint 50 mcg.; Cytomel 12 mcg/day My thyroid was destroyed roughly 8 years ago; the only problems I have is hair loss and weight gain - I don't overeat, I exercise - I don't eat processed foods - I could eat 1200 calories a day - good calories and put on weight. I grow most of what I eat. Help! I am 65.
Avatar n tn If the past, I occasionally took supplements such as Metabolife, Xenadrine, etc. (the old versions that had ephedra) as a diet/workout aid, and aside from having a more energetic workout, they really seemed to help with my depression. Now I have days where I can barely function at all due to depression, but if I take 12mg of ephedrine, some caffeine and 1/2 an aspirin I feel normal to great. I've only been on actual depression medications once - I took Paxil.
Avatar n tn You dont say if your a T1 or T2 or if your on any meds. both of those will effect weight loss differently. Nor do you say what you eat, for diabetics its more about carbohydrates (since they raise BG).
