weight

Avatar m tn s no medical research to support claims that Xenadrine RFA-1 is effective for weight loss or reducing body fat.
Avatar f tn t have to be super high protein like some weight loss companies tell you) low fat, low carb (not none or your body could also go into survival mode after some time on that diet). Don't go to extremes on anything and you will be fine. The second main part is the exercise. When I lost the 100lbs, I was working out 6 days a week. It was daunting to say the least and it will NEVER be easy but you have to accept that it is part of losing weight. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!!
885701 tn?1279125728 We try to lose weight using sound weight loss principals - proper diet and moderate exercise. Usually when weight is lost using diet pills and other diet aids, it is usually gained back as soon as the pills are stopped. You might try posting your question on Weight Loss Alternatives.
Avatar n tn I'm 26 and pregnant. A few years ago I was taking twice the recommended dose of Ripped Fuel and Xenadrine and taking 8-12 tablets of dulcolax to loose weight and I wasn't eating and exercising excessively. Now I have really low blood pressure, possible mitrovalve prolapse, frequent panic attacks. Every time I stand up my vision starts to go black. To walk across the room my heart rate and resperations go way up. I often feel dizzy, nausea, and weak even when sitting or laying down.
Avatar m tn You can drink coffee to speed it up and also antioxidants to increase the number and motility. Limit your alcohol consumption and no diet drugs like xenadrine. You should get a sperm anaylsis if your haven't already. Just becuase you are 43 doesn't mean there is anything wrong with your sperm potential.
Avatar n tn If the past, I occasionally took supplements such as Metabolife, Xenadrine, etc. (the old versions that had ephedra) as a diet/workout aid, and aside from having a more energetic workout, they really seemed to help with my depression. Now I have days where I can barely function at all due to depression, but if I take 12mg of ephedrine, some caffeine and 1/2 an aspirin I feel normal to great. I've only been on actual depression medications once - I took Paxil.
Avatar m tn fast weight loss is most of the time lost water and muscles. Fat takes ages to go away. Third: Think of a diet as something permanent. Crash diets just help you gain weight faster once they are over. So, pick some simple rules of a balanced and healthy diet, and follow them. Don't sweat it if you crave for something "bad", to a balanced diet belongs the bad side, too. If you give in now to a small piece of chocolate, it is much better than to eat two whole packages later.
Avatar f tn Yes please talk to your dr, there are many things that could cause rapid or excessive weight loss and some of them can be serious. In addition to Thyroid and GI testing maybe ask about diabetes. It seems odd, but it can cause weight loss.
Avatar f tn I promise you your completely fine. I'm 19 weeks haven't gained any weight. Lost weight and the baby is perfect. It didn't matter how tall or how much you weight as long as baby measures up during ultrasound it's perfectly fine.
Avatar f tn More can be lost through water weight with diuretics and crash dieting can also increase fat loss but only for a short time. When we lose fat too fast our metabolism will slow in order to conserve fat (fuel) deposits (starvation mode) and that creates new problems such a resetting the metabolic rate and fat gains during the plateau, etc.
10299247 tn?1409208876 I am 19 weeks and have lost 23 lbs. I to was about 185 when I got pregnant and was considered over weight. My Dr isn't concerned at all about weight loss and I have been terribly sick the whole pregnancy too. Dr just tells me to eat what I can and what will stay down. Also to drink lots of water. Right now baby girl is measuring a head of schedule so as long as she's fine I'm fine. If your dr isn't concerned I wouldn't be either.
10025015 tn?1422498264 Why is my doctor so worried about me losing weight instead of gaining it? Before pregnancy i was 210, and today at my 12 week appointment i dropped to 198. I'm actually happy about the loss but i know i'm supposed to gain weight instead but it's just being sick & being nauseaded!
Avatar f tn I'm 10 weeks and down about 7 pounds. The doctor isn't concerned.
10822330 tn?1413073760 If you have a normal BMI, the weight loss you're reporting corresponds to people fasting on water only, i.e. getting no food whatsoever. As others said, this is a serious matter and you should discuss it with your Dr asap.
Avatar n tn I doubt that any doctor would support a weight loss goal of 25 lbs. per month unless you would be morbidly obese. Most of the weight you would lose would be water weight anyway, and it would come back quickly. I recently consulted with a weight loss doctor who prescribed a sensible diet (moderately low carb) and the medication Adipex. That combination was magic for me. The diet resulted in rapid weight loss, and the prescribed medication made it easier for me to follow the diet.
