Weight loss using apple cider vinegar

Common Questions and Answers about Weight loss using apple cider vinegar

I have been using ACV and mineral water mix as a toner on my face. I use about 1 part vinegar and 3 parts mineral water or just plain water works too. I have been working out a lot and that normally gives me acne, but much less with the ACV/mineral water mix. Also I read on Pinterest that if you take 3 Tablespoon of ACV it helps burn fat, so I'm doing that too, but also eating well and exercising, so no proof if ACV works for that!
Has anyone tried using apple cider vinegar as a means to lose some weight? Just wondering if anyone's had any success with it. I've been using it for a couple days now (since saturday), and I've already dropped a pound in 2 days. I have also started using the elliptical that's been collecting dust for awhile, so I'm sure that's helping too. And eating healthier too. Salads and more fruits and veggies. It's really hard though when what you really want is junk food. But it's getting better.
The one I use is apple cider vinegar, the one in the grocery store is the same as the expensive ones in the vitamin stores. It has the sediment, its just not called "organic." From what I read it works better on people who are not diabetics yet but are insulin intolerant, or pre-diabetic. I am having amazing results on this, my sugars are not going above 140 even after high carbo meals.
But I DO NOT appreciate being lectured to by a total stanger who has no clue about my medical history or what I have or have not tried in an effort to lose weight! Who are you anyway? Are you a physician who specializes in weight loss? Because a person like that is the only person I will take a lecture from and only when he or she has full knowledge of my medical history. I suggest you tone down your comments that you write in the future to other total strangers.
I took dairy and wheat out of my diet and have seen marked improvement in seizure activity, stool color, uirine color and rash, and a complete turn around in weight loss and noticed hair regrowth. Not really any symptoms of CFS, but sometimes just need to take a 2 hour nap, especailly after physical activity.
Best help I have found is the Apple Cider Vinegar rinse after shampooing. I then add a little conditioner to end to diffuse vinegar smell. So far the itching is pretty much gone and an article I read says it will get worse before better (Only twice used so far and hours of itching GONE!). For those that also have the WHITE BALLS on SCABS ON THE BODY - Dr. ordered `Clotrimazole-Betamethasone Cream` (also an anti-fungal), working like a charm in 1 (no lie), DAY!!
that is covering up what I hope will be my body from 15 years ago. LOL... Last night I tried Apple Cider Vinegar in with my water while lifting weights. I've read a lot about the benifits of drinking it. Just like everything else, I'll give it a try and see how it goes but never loose sight of my core workout schedule.
So I've been researching Green Coffee pills. It's shown to have great results in weight loss. If you're unsure of what green coffee is, it's coffee beans before they're roasted. So I'm just wondering if anyone has used it? If so, what kind of results did you see?
i have lost nearly a stone in weight since november.re;health probs.
I also just started trying Morocco method shampoo.. the products are called apple cider vinegar shampoo and zen detox scalp treatment. These are designed to draw toxins out through the scalp... here are the websites http://www.aubrey-organics.com http://morroccomethod.
I have heard that the apple cider vinegar (with the "mother" or enzymes) works wonders on a variety of conditions. I started it, then got out of the habit. It sort of tastes terrible! I use echinachea for colds/viruses and also supplement with extra Vit C. I am being tested for a variety of Vit. deficiency. I get the results to those tests tomorrow, so perhaps I will be adding other vitamins to my regimen.
Vinegar is used to clean toilets and baking soda to clean all kinds of stuff...how bout using food,,,corn and sugar as fuel for cars?...just because it can be used for other applications dont make it a poision.Flax seed oil is used a wood finisher...
What has stopped me from trying it is that everything I have tried has made something worse, except for apple cider vinegar, so I have been reluctant to try it. apple cider vinegar can help arthritis too, by helping to flush out the crystals that form.
Hello, green tea, honey, apple cider vinegar. How can I find documented facts on health benefits from drinking a tea with these ingredients in it.
I put pepper and lemon and apple cider vinegar on my cucumber (it tastes good), two hours later, I'll eat the apple, while drinking another 32oz of water. Then for dinner, I'll eat 4 oz protein, a handful of cherry tomatoes cut in half marinated in lemon, apple cider vinegar, peppler and drink another 32oz water. If I'm still hungry, I'll eat the apple or I'll wait another two hours to eat the other apple. You could eat that apple for breakfast if you wish.
Barb, I had read the same, that apple cider vinegar, does wonders for bloating. I may give it a try. Also read, baking soda does to, but not to comfy with baking soda in my system. I used to drink a ton of pickle juice, and chomp on pickles, love the taste. But, also ran for the bathroom, pickle juice cleans out the system.
take acidopholis pills......soak your head in apple cider vinegar every day before you shower. All this will cure the infection in time (1-2 weeks), however it will not degrease the stubborn sticky sebum that is already there... for this try original palmolive..... don't just shampoo.... put the palmolive on the crown of your head, lather with water, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before you shower. After the first 2-3 washes the stickiness should be gone....
And now that you mention it, my husband said something about apple cider vinegar and I know I've seen it on one of those "low stomach acid" websites. Maybe I'll give the pickle or vinegar a try today.

As far as me - I have heard about a good weight loss diet with apple cider vinegar and tried it for about 4 days last week 8 days ago. And for the last 4 days I have been having a dull pain in my upper right side of my abdomen. Today after dinner (2 hours later) I thought I need to go to ER for tha pain. I read that gallblader problems and cramps can be eased with sipping icy water, so I did , and it seemed to work for now.
Wasn`t sure but bought Apple Cider Vinegar. Was too anxious to look process up so washed my hair - shampooed twice - rinsed again, then poued the vinegarr full strength from the bottle over my head (duh, some got in eyes, had to grab a towel and splash water on my eyes). As I have aged, gray, dyed, tangled hair, I did put conditioner half-way to ends. Wrapped w/towel and let it do it`s job, then rinsed. SO GLAD TO BE ABLE TO TELL YOU - IT FREAKIN` WORKED!!!!
Free Range Turkey, broccoli, tomatoes, black beans, fresh sweet potatoes, blueberries, and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every morning before you start your eating day... and include more wherever you can. Pay attention to your Glycemic loads... do NOT overload your system with products that will spike your insulin level. I have ABSOLUTELY zero faith in the FDA.
I am on day 17 of the diet. Am not taking B 12 injections, only the hcg injected in the fat roll at the stomach. I alternate sides each day. I was really apprehensive about giving myself injections as I was terrified of needles as a kid. But I was only nervous the first couple of days. And the injections do not hurt (I'm using short needle ultra-fine insulin syringes).

Things I will try to help the healing process, getting tested for leaky gut first, if positive then I will do a colon cleanse, probiotics, drinking 1 to 2 teaspoons in moderation of unpasturized raw apple cider vineger mixed with water, taking vitamins, sticking with my vegan diet, and going back on my digestive enzymes. Hope everyone is doing well. Responses to this posts and my other posts are highly encouraged. God bless.
Simeons said you couldn't combine them, but I have salads all the time with several of the veggies. I make a salad dressing out of apple cider vinegar, spices, & water.
Coleslaw is great for the gut - might cause a little gas, but it soothes ulcers and stomach acid. I drink apple cider vinegar in my water to help my GERD or Reflux. Hope you feel better soon.
The best way to treat this scalp condition is by using medicated shampoos (salicylic acid, selenium sulfide, zinc pyrithione, coal tar) , along with a good clarifying shampoo. Additional home remedies include apple-cider vinegar, fresh lemon juice, baking soda, and dish detergent. I also recommend Diflucan (anti-fungal) pills. In the worst case scenereo accutane will control symptoms... although i do not recommend that as it is very strong and has many unfavorable side effects.
Avoid all tart candies, throw away that cream of tartar in your kitchen if you have it, avoid jolly rancher candy, too. Apple cider vinegar has mild acids (acetic acid and malic acid) that help to flush the bad acids out of your system. A chewable vitamin c will add ascorbic acid, another beneficial mild acid. I take about 2 tablespoons of unfiltered apple cider vinegar mixed with water to make it easier on my esophagus. A couple of hours later I balance my ph with an antacid calcium supplement.
