Common Questions and Answers about Weight gain vitamins

weight

Avatar f tn If you were malnourished when you started taking them, you may temporarily gain weight - your body is saying "Oh! Yes!! Yum! What I need to LIVE! Let me store some fat in case I'm starved AGAIN!!" This is temporary, remember, and your body MUST have vitamins - particularly those you detailed - in order to function. Do NOT stop taking your vitamins.
Avatar f tn I'm 19 and 27 weeks expecting a boy as well. I haven't gained any pregnancy weight at all. I started off 117. In my first trimester I dropped to 110 now I'm back at 117 and my weight will not move. Taking your vitamins is great but its not good to take them on a empty stomach. There are so many churches and outreach programs that are made especially for you. Ask questions! Reach out for help! Those who ask shall receive. I hope everything works out for the best.
Avatar f tn He also told me to stop trying to put on weight that the baby had plenty to eat/drink due to my placenta holding extra vitamins and nutrients that the baby could access.
Avatar f tn During the first trimester she's supposed to gain 5 lbs the most.

Avatar f tn Its important to remember that you should gain at least 25 pounds. But that 25 pounds will be all baby. I know your thinking that a baby is usually only 8 pounds... but you will also hold water and this will all gk away on its own within a couple months of having the baby. So dont think when you see the number on the scale going up its just fat... because its not. Make sure you eat healthy and take prenatal vitamins. You and baby will both have a great outcome. Congrats.
Avatar n tn I didn't gain weight until after 20 weeks. I was about your weight and my doctor wasn't worried.
Avatar f tn I just weight myself as i didnt think id put that much weight on. i honestly didnt think i looked big but accordig to my scales ive gained nearly 30lbs.
Avatar f tn I weighed 108 for the longest time, and was so worried. My doctor told me to keep taking my vitamins, and that my body would do what it needed to as far as weight gain. I'm 33 weeks and have gained about 30 lbs so far, and honestly I haven't changed much in my eating habits. Basically, I eat what I crave (within reason), eat when I'm hungry, and stop when I'm full.
6658929 tn?1395711522 Just be sure you are eating right and taking your vitamins. Some women gain a lot of weight, some hardly gain any.

Avatar f tn The stuff on the app is a very general "average" and not necessarily going to be accurate for all women. Some women lose weight some gain and we don't all gain the same amounts or show loss/gain the same way.
Avatar m tn s unlikely that vitamins would cause weight gain since your body needs a certain amount of a variety of vitamins/mineral; and some can even help you lose weight. Have you checked with your doctor to make sure you don't have a medical issues such as thyroid issue, insulin resistance, PCOS, etc? Some of these issues can cause weight gain/inability to lose.
1428239 tn?1333457053 I would be comfortable at 99-100lbs really so gaining a couple pounds seeems like a good idea.. But I try and I dont gain weight. I know if I start exercising regularly again, I might be able to gain some weight from muscle mass so I am hoping to start exercising at least 3 times a week to improve there. Does anyone else have advice on how to gain weight?
1172205 tn?1263427868 Talk to ur dr about ur weight gain or lack of. Your baby is getting plenty of nutrition as long as your taking ur vitamins and eating your fruits and veggies. Good lucky honey.
Avatar f tn s all baby. Has anyone else had this issue? If so how did you gain weight? I read I should have gain 12-15 pound by now??
Avatar n tn How can I have a healthy diet and gain weight? I've tried to gain weight eating more than usual but haven't been able to, what food can I eat? Or is there a diet I could follow?
Avatar f tn As long as you are eating healthy and trying to be healthy as well don't stress about weight gain. My first pregnacy I gained 35+(I didn't track it that close). This pregnacy I feel like I am getting bigger and I am clearly pregnant (neighbors are starting to congratulate me in the apartment halls) but from my starting weight I have only gained 3 pounds. It can be super different for every person and every baby I am now learning!
Avatar n tn When you are hypothyroid, your metabolism is lower than normal for your height, weight, and age. So, the weight gain is the same as if you were overeating or not exercising enough.
Avatar f tn With this pregnancy the Dr did ultrasounds every appt to watch my baby's growth. He grew fine, I lost 10 lbs, now he's measuring my belly to watch it. (which is decidedly bigger but I'm only 4 lbs more) Weight in pregnancy is like weight in life, it's a good indicator of health and growth but it's not the deciding factor. If your Dr's worried about it maybe ask them if they would like to check by doing an ultrasound.
Avatar f tn I'm 24 weeks and I've only gained about 4 pounds. I wasn't underweight when I got pregnant, but now it seems like no matter how much I eat I cannot gain. Is anyone else having this problem and know of any healthy ways to gain some weight. I just don't want to affect my babygirls weight gain.
Avatar f tn 34wks lost 3 lbs and 2wks, Anyone experiencing weight loss towards the end? I try to eat, but I just can't eat as much, there is no room left I get full easy!
Avatar m tn I'm 19+2 and lost 22lbs by week 16 and haven't fined or lost anymore so far, not everyone is the same. This app gives you the average guidelines on weight gain but that doesn't mean everyone is going to gain that amount, this is my 3rd and last time I lost about 15 lbs and gained about 19 total which was great bc it was all baby weight and gone a week after birth.
Avatar f tn Suggest you eat 3 meals a day and try to eat a Heart Healthy diet which will give you the nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs, gain weight slowly, and help with possibly preventing future disease states.
Avatar f tn Hey I'm 21 weeks pregnant and pregnant with my first. I'm a plus size woman I lost a lot of weight and I haven't gained that much weight I have lost weight but not gain and I eat l eat a lot. Has anyone else has this problem?
