203342 tn?1328737207 I really like Flash Forward too!! I've also been watching Community (the show about community college... it reminds me of my community college a bit so that's why I like it). My brother has been watching Community with me too... he likes it for the same reason. My mom and my dad have been watching Glee and The Good Wife. I've watched one episode of each show with them. I wasn't so much into Glee, but my mom loves it.
Avatar f tn Pretty little liars its a tv show on abc family I love it watch the seasons before the new season comes out :)
Avatar f tn I have had a chest, sinus cold going on four weeks now with intermittent laryngitis. I have been on a course of Levaquin 2 weeks ago and am still sick. Prior to this cold I had another cold and was on a Z pac, can't seem to get any better... Never had a fever, just productive cough raising green phlegm.. Should I be working about my immune system at this point?
1451338 tn?1413475023 Same for me about House..I don't really watch it anymore since the Chiari episode, it was disappointing. But, I'm glad to hear that it got better coverage!! Stephiec- trust me you didn't miss anything, there was very little truth in the symptoms, how it was dx and treated...
Avatar f tn Okay, since 1992 I have had lots of throat infections in 1995 I had my tonsils and adanoids removed to help however it never did. And still had aleast 7 throat infections and laryngitis a year but since January this year I have had 20suvere throat infections all with laryngitis.
Avatar n tn However, a side effect of both medications is laryngitis. I recently had laryngitis for 6 weeks. It started as a virus and would not go a way. I decided it was my atrovent neb (an anticholinergic like Spiriva). My allergist thought it was my Dulera (inhaled combination med like Advair). I eliminated the atrovent and reduced my Dulera and the laryngitis healed. She needs to discus any changes in dosage with her doctor before making changes.
3828469 tn?1358462325 I'm watching an episode where this lady has a week old baby boy and her hoarding is so bad there are dead rats everywhere! Like seriously how are these people allowed to take their kids home and keep them!?
Avatar n tn Wanted me to watch the episode. I was confused because there was so little mentioned of the condition. It centered around the man being gay. I was really stymied. I was hoping to be more informed, to see something, some of what you all go through. It's important to me. It's important to my friend. :-) I was not happy with what was not portrayed. They should re-do the episode and do it accurately. After all, the show centers around medical disorders.
Avatar n tn I personally have not heard of a watch that records what is going on. I have a watch that tells me what my beat rate is but that is about it. I know there is some sort of heart monitor pen that came out but to get an accurate diagnosis it is really beneficial to catch the beginning of an episode and any hand held device would not capture that.
Avatar f tn My son did just get over viral laryngitis that turned to bacterial laryngitis. He was treat with a Ceftin type drug for 14 days. He also to 60mg of steriod for 3 days, could not talk for 9 days. During this he was checked by an ENT. Yes, he has only been seen by Neuro. He had a sinus xray last year and a CAT Scan, 11-08. All were clear. He had an MRI in 11-09 when hospitalized for migraine, we went in level 8, left at level 6 apin level. That time torodol iv push worked.
Avatar f tn I watch it sometimes, but missed the last episode.I do like it though. I wish i could have a therapist come here to help me too. I find it very hard to go see my therapist. I guess that's why I havent been there in a few months. I am going to try again in 2 weeks.
Avatar f tn Had what I thought was a cold but has not progressed from the sore throat/laryngitis phase. Now not sure if it's that or something more serious. I do have a growth on the left side of my throat near my tonsil--it has been there for four years and has been checked out several times.
Avatar m tn Hey guys!! Sorry i haven't posted much. Just answering other people's questions mostly. I am now on DAY 47! and I can not explain how good I feel being off those darn pills. Clearer head and even though I sometimes (rarely now) have bad days, I just remind myself that life is best w/out the drugs. Anyways, I remember when I was detoxing, more than a month ago, someone posted that a Dr Phil episode about pill popping twins was going to be on.
Avatar n tn As someone who is still recovering from acid reflux laryngitis, I will say that it took MONTHS for my voice to return. My laryngitis started in October 2009 and continued into April 2010 with slight improvements starting in late February. When I was first diagnosed as acid reflux causing my laryngitis, I was told it would take at least three months to get my voice back.
Avatar f tn However I have been sick a few times since then and every time the virus turns straight into terrible laryngitis. Before the surgery I very rarely ever got laryngitis but now it comes on so easily and lasts for a while. Is there any reason that this would be connected to my thyroid surgery? Wondering if this is still part of the healing process or not? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!
Avatar n tn I wnet to a Doctor before getting on my return flight and he said he thought I had laryngitis likely caused by a viral infection. Therefore, he did not prescribe antibiotics. It has been about 9 days since the sexual encounter and I am wondering what my risk factors are. Could the oral sex have exposed me to an STD taht would cause a sore throat and laryngitis? If so, which STD would be most likely?
Avatar n tn I have developed a chronic dry cough & laryngitis, currently I have been dealing with symptoms for a month. I went thru same illness 5months ago was in the hospital & then passed around to various specialists without any real answers. I have done allergy testing, tests to rule out relfux, seen ENT, pulmonlogist, & family dr multiple times with not much success. No one can tell me why I got better last time, or why I am dealing with the same situation again.
Avatar n tn My son developed laryngitis about 2 months ago. It is severe so that he can not talk at all. His ENT diagnosed it as Muscular dysphonia. He is seeing a speech therapist, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. He plays Sax in the band at school and can't get enough air out to play. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn However, you do not test positive to the living virus so you were exposed but not infected. You should jump up and down with glee now.
1545021 tn?1322477485 The episode is called "bruised and battered" if you have a way to find it if you can't catch it on TV. Geez this kid had seizure disorders and everything.
Avatar m tn Hello, There are many conditions which can cause difficulty in speaking at higher pitches. Voice misuse and overuse are common causes. Acute laryngitis caused by allergies, viral infection, chronic laryngitis and laryngoesophageal reflux all can cause hoarseness and voice difficulties. Rare but serious causes producing these symptoms are vocal cord paralysis and vocal cord tumours. Please see your Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor) for an evaluation.
Avatar m tn I was bit feverish while having laryngitis I had another set of 4 protected vag, 3 protected BJs, & 1 unprotected BJ (the last one). No condom break.
