In fact, his physician says he's the best patient he's ever had as far as controlling his Pro Time level. Don't be afraid of the coumadin, just be careful with it. My dad does anything he wants to, just watches what he eats so he gets no interactions with food.
between diabetes and watching blood sugar levels, and taking the blood thinner warfarin because of the a-fib, and a statin ( no grapefruit). For every yay, there's a nay. I was wondering if anyone out there feels like the palps build up over a few days and then they break into an episode of a-fib or some other equally aggraving arrhythmia? After my a-fib is over I feel free for several days, really goood, till the whole cycle starts all over again. Does anyone else sense that?
Never take any medications or vitamins or herbs with grapefruit juice or antacids. Grapefruit juice can litterally incrase the strength of medications. Antacids can render them ineffective. Its not enough to hear or see natural. You have to know what your taking and how, when and what to take them. READ YOUR LABELS! DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE ANY VITAMIN, MINERAL OR HERBS! Normally a good quality food based multivitamin/mineral supplement is sufficient.
