Hi, I think your biggest concern should be about her getting bacterial pneumonia. It might be just a virus for now, but a virus can lead to bacterial pneumonia. If she can't see a doctor because of cost or any other reason, she must go anyway for antibiotics if it turns into a bacterial pneumonia.

Ok, so Last week on februrary the 2nd I got a sore throat, the next day I had a runny nose and felt like **** for a few days after that and then I developed a cough, I went to the doctor and he said I had upper respiratory infection (bronchitis).. so he gave me a z pac which lasted 5 days, and after day 3 I started feeling better and after the last pill, I felt fine. No cough, no sore throat, nothing.
However, a week later he presented with a high fever, wheezing, rattling sound when breathing and they diagnosed bacterial pneumonia. They gave him albuterol nebulizer treatments and zithromax. The next day we were back at the doctor and he had been experiencing severe coughing fits that led to vomiting and sweating, as well as clammy skin, and he was continuing to have a lot of wheezing sound in his lungs, despite the albuterol treatments.

Are you male and she is female? What type of pneumonia does she have? It can be caused by a virus or bacteria. There are a few bacteria that can cause it too. If it is a virus and she gave you oral you can't get pneumonia. Kissing alone you can potentially get pneumonia if you are low in immunity. If she has been treated for several days you also have to take that into consideration. So I would ask her doctor about this. I doubt it.
24 hours after finishing my 10 days of Doxy, my sore throat started to come back as well as that general crummy feeling that walking pneumonia gives you. So, I went to the Dr. to see if the pneumonia was gone. He said he could not test me because I would test positive for WP for the next 6 months.
