I take 50 mg vyvanse, but for a month i was on wellbutrin. The wellbutrin cause be extremme levels of anxiety and made my vyvanse useless.

I hope things went well for you with the vyvanse. I unfortunately stopped my vyvanse cold turkey and had a grand Mal seizure when I was 38 and never had a seizure in my life before that. My doctor said you should always ween yourself off any type of stimulant.

Just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed ADHD, and Vyvanse was prescribed, along with clonidin. I have to really watch my blood pressure now, because if I miss taking the atenenol, my blood pressure will shoot up over 160 really quick. Is there any solution for people with 2 conditions like this where the medication for one condition diametrically opposes the medication for the second condition ? Would some other blood pressure medication work better than a beta blocker ?

I am surprised that he gave you vyvanse. My dr. gave me Wellbutrin and it produced none of the side effects you mention except decreased cravings for caffeine and sweets. Our pharmacist said vyvanse is a lot like adderall; he said everyone seems to be using it who would have previously been on adderall. It is very trendy right now. But I do not think it would help with anxiety at all, and I would guess anxiety might be causing your heart rate to be rapid.

Hello my name is John and was wondering if anyone can share experiences with Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse 3 months ago and my Doctor started me on a low dose and slowly upped the dose to 50 mg which worked great for me, but I wanted to see if 60 mg would benefit me more. I tried it for 2 weeks and it was definitely too much, it made me very up tight and not myself. So I went back down to 50 mg and now it seems if the 50 mg doesn't work as good as before. Has anyone experienced this?

Sometimes I take dextroamph without vyvanse, sometimes I take one dex with vyvanse. What I am doing basically is experimenting the best dosage and combination. But I did not overdose. I measured my blood pressure just a moiment ago and it was 128/85 pulses: 91) Also: my doctor changed my Wellbutrin dosage from 100 SR once a day to 100 SR twice a day.

i was diagnosed with add in highschool and put on vyvanse for about a year (my parents thought i was too young to be taking stimulants so they took me off it). it worked amazingly with focus and keeping my racing thoughts organized. from the time i dropped out of school to now i basically have always been taking opiates whether it was pain killers or since i’ve been on suboxone.

I had an allergic reaction to both, Adderall and Vyvanse, and my body refuses to metabolize these type of drugs properly. What do I do now? Just take Wellbutrin XL 150 for life? I'm a total disaster at work w/out the stimulants. Anyone knows of alternatives? I do take Omega-3s, vitamins, acetyl l-carnitine etc.

One idea to talk to your psych or doc about is to lower your dose of Vyvanse and up your Wellbutrin to 350mg. This might help since Wellbutrin targets dopamine receptors instead of seratonin like other ssri. This might help to give you the pleasurable pep you need to get out of the "lifeless void" as I call it and ease up on the dextroamphetamine (speed) that's doing a number on your mental state and your cns state.

I am a little sensitive to most (read almost every non antibiotic drug) but I have been doing well with the wellbutrin XL 150 and a wellbutrin 75 at lunch.

I might be needing something like 160 mg of Vyvanse. I am also on Wellbutrin and Ketamine now for depression. I take Ambien and Lorazepam to fall asleep. I know there is a link between the stimulants that I take during the day and the sleep aid pills at night. I wish I could stop the Lorazepam 4mg because it is useless most of the time , and it is making me depressed. I am on 20 mg of Ambien. I know I am on high doses of meds. I am trying to decrease them and get to better more stable state.

i am an 18 year old female prescribed wellbutrin 300 mg, lexapro 30 mg, vyvanse 30 mg, risperidone .25 mg and formula 303 muscle relaxants. i've been on these medications for quite some time and i don't think they have anything to do with my symptoms, but i just wanted to give a short background. over the past couple of weeks, i've been experiencing very odd sensations.

I have been taking 300 mg of Wellbutrin and 30 mg of Vyvanse for about a year now and recently my heart has been racing (100-110 beats per minute after sitting on the couch for an hour) and I have been having minor chest pains. Last June I had a breakdown and I was out of state a a physician I went to put me on seroquel, lexapro, and vyvanse....along with my klonopin. This seemed to be working, then he added Adderall and I was amazed at this. I felt "normal" for the first time in 30 years. I could think straight, and as time has gone by the depression has gone. I take 30 mg of this a day. Recently, since the insurance said they would not pay for Vyvanse and Adderall the Dr.

Hi All, I posted a couple months back about how I was diagnosed with Adult ADD and my doc starting me on aderrall. I had some difficulties adjusting to being on the med which many of you shared your experiences with me which was a great help. Well I have been taking aderrall about 2 to 3 months. The feelings of paranoia, suspicion of others and rage have come back. So when i see my doc this week he will be switching me to something else.

I’ve never taken atomexatine so not sure what form it comes in. I know with both vyvanse and adderall long acting, they are in capsule form. With those you can alter the dose just by opening the capsule and removing some. I bought a cheap microgram scale to do just that and it allows me to adjust the meds to my ideal dosage since what works for me is actually in between the standard doses it comes in. Maybe that’s an option for your med. I would read the literature to check.

Hello, I am looking for alternative treatments, natural remedies, and various exercise suggestions to help me increase wakefulness. I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy in November 2010, but I had been experiencing symptoms since I was around 10 to 11 years old. I am currently taking Vyvanse 70mg in the morning, 10mg of Adderall (short acting) in the evening, and trying to implement a daily nap schedule. Over the last year the cataplexy I experience has increased and my muscle tone has decreased.

The first couple weeks my wife and I both noticed a big improvement with my symptom of ADD. Than all of a sudden it stopped working. I told my doctor, he changed it to Bupropion 300mg XL. Its been a week and a half since its been changed and no improvement. What happened to make it quit working? Will it start if I give it some more time?

Maybe it is for you but I was born with motivation. I was born with hard working genetics. I was not born lazy. If I could take a pill that would give me my old motivated self back, I would take it in a heartbeat. Because I am the person who finisihs tasks with plenty of time to spare.

I take 1.5 mg Klonopin + 50 mgs of Vyvanse. I have ADD but the Vyvanse is also prescribed for depression as I cannot take absolutely any antidepressant without incredible agitation. That started several years ago. Here's the problem at hand, as it starts: Every time I sleep, whether day (as in nap, a rare occasion) or night, I have disturbing dreams I can't put a finger on. At that time I was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse and they said my anxiety was to blame. I suffered from extreme fatigue and sleepiness during the day. A few meds helped but they only lasted a few months. I've been on just about every antidepressant and nothing has helped me.
