It should take about 2 months to get to that dosage but I'm getting kinda excited hearing about the benefit of weight loss especially since it was weight loss pills (metabolife and xenedrine) that caused me to find out that I was epileptic in the first place! The doctor told me that i might get tingling in my fingers and i might feel a little dopy but happy dopy he described it as, so I figure i can deal with that! If I start losing weight at a rapid pace i'll definitely post again!

First of all I am not a nurse ot doctor but I wanted to comment on the hair loss. I have also been prescribed topamax for pain, mood stabilizer and weight loss so I have been looking a lot on the net. I have seen a few things about hair loss. I wanted to comment on that. I have been a hairstylist for 24 years and one thing that I have noticed without doubt is that when one of my customers loses a significant amount of weight (25 lbs or more) they always have a loss of hair.
eating too much dairy products; eating too few green leafy vegetables. On the other hand, keeping your weight down, avoiding alcohol, exercising, eating a diet rich in colorful fruits and vegetables, avoiding foods such as pizza, sugar, complex carbohydrates and factory meat will dramatically increase your overall health and aid your body in fighting hepatitis C.
i get mad because she is overweight and i say to her why dont you just stop overeating, and she says she is dieting (my parents have paid for my rehabs and her weight loss programs) well when i relapse she gave me hell yet she sneaks food (i find containers and mcdonalds bags hidden) and i feel like she shouldnt judge me for failing when she is failing herself. At least when you stop eating pie you don't withdrawal.
2010 - Phentermine 30mg/day (took only 15mg though, didn’t need full dose) to lose weight – found it helped with ADHD (later discovered it is an ADHD med, although not a very effective one so they use it for weight loss now…). The dry mouth and extreme irritability (low blood sugar?) were causing problems with life relationships so I stopped. 2011 (July) – Adipex 37.5mg – went to family dr to get help again (problems at work). 2nd evaluation.
He had the same issues and I decided to wean him off of this drug on my own. He is doing good now. He is 11 and takes only Vyvanse 30 mg. I am planning on taking him off of the Vyvanse in the summer and trying L-Theasine which is a natural vitamin. The doctors and teachers did not listen to what we want for our child, so I had to take matters into my own hands. Meds have caused more problems than actually helping him.
also alls you need to do is Google side effects of add adhd meds and u will see possible sides sudden death , weight loss anxiety , ensomnia depression , suicidal thoughts ect..this is why I'm so torn and will try ever other option before throwing her on meds. .sure you can say al meds have some type of risk ..even if its 1percent its still there. .I would never judge any parent for using drugs to try in help there child .I just want to know I did everything possible to avoid it thays all!
Second round was weekly PegIntron, (2A) and used the full vial, and for my body weight this worked out to more than the weight adjusted minimums for the tx. I also was on Ribavirin full dose, and Procrit for anemia. Total of 72 weeks, the course recommended for relapsers, and for Type 1-B, and was clear from week 19 until ending tx. Have remained negative for nearly ten years, which equates to 'cured', or eradicated.
Is there is good list out there somewhere of hypothyroid symptoms that MEN are likely to experience, as opposed to women? A quick search reveals many similar lists, with symptoms such as "hair loss," "weight gain," and "abnormal menstrual cycles." The first two of these are things that I would guess the vast majority of men experience later in life, and the third is meaningless. Now in my mid-40s, I have started to feel sluggish and want to sleep more.
I have been diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue, Systemic Yeast Infection, crazy weight gain (50 lbs), gurd, muscle weakness and the list goes on and on! At my last liver docs appt they "apologized for destroying my life" and said that maybe I would recover in 6 or 7 years. They gave no suggestions for a speedier recovery saying my system was in chaos. This was at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC.
At its worst, I can not wear clothes, for anything touching my skin is excruciating. However Savella has really helpe. No vomiting, dizziness, headaches, weight loss... nothing. I realize meds work differently in different people, but so far so good so good so far.
And her teacher tries to cover it up so she doen't feel embarassed, but then she just thinks there's no problem. I am completely at a loss. I don't have money for diapers, either. I will pray for all of you...please do the same for me. I really hope that someone out there has a solution...

Someone who acknowledges the patients environment and history as an additional factor with a good amount of weight to it. When they find an easy way of physically monitoring what is being produced in my brain on a regular basis I think I'll be more comfortable with the quality of the diagnosis and treatment. In the meantime I'm eating lots of salmon, dairy and sesame covered almonds. heh.
