I'm not sure if this is in the right place, but i need help so i'm going to ask it. i am 18 years old & have been taking vyvanse for about a month now. i slowly increased my dosage and i am up to 30mg currently. i'm starting to realize i am becoming depressed and i'm always in a bad mood, especially for the passed 3 days. friday, i smoked a very large amount of marijuana and took an ecstasy pill.

Amphetamine is speed. It is a controlled prescription substance, but is also found on the street and is illegal in that form. Street names are meth, crank, crystal. If this was also found in your urine along with the clonazepam, and you did not take either, then it would be good to see if you can retake the urine test.

I am a recovering meth addict and my doctor wants to give me low doses of vyvanse or desoxyn to combat it. at low doses, (70-150mg/day) it has notable therapeutic value. But becareful!! and only under doctor's supervision!

Vyvanse is just another amphetamine. All speed, or speed-like products, will produce the symptoms you had, if taken in overdose. If you have that reaction with a normal dose, then you probably do not have ADD.

Hey I am worried about my sister! She is on Vyvanse right now at thiry mgs but does NOT take it daily. Her husband takes twenty mgs of Adderall daily, and sometimes she will take an adderall instead of a vyvanse. Is this safe?? I don't think she is taking them at the same time but, is it safe for her to take an adderall on occasion? She claims the adderall gives her more energy than the vyvanse so she takes it when she has a night that she is working late and so on.

A couple months ago, I was prescribed Vyvanse for ADHD/Low motivational drive & concentration issues. My doctor started me on 30mg of Vyvanse to be taken once in the morning. The first day I took it my energy and focus level shot up to what must be considered "normal" because I could actually get out of bed and focus in my classes! It was amazing. But, after that first day, nothing. After about 2 weeks of trying it out, it almost felt like I was taking a sugar pill.

I would like to know if doing so many different drugs even street drugs for so long cause pain to were you have fibromyalgia and need to keep taking prescribed drugs for the pain??

My son has been takiing this med Vyvanse for adhd, so I decided to take it to see if it would help me with my depression and anxiety, and it worked great, I didn't have any side effect to it. This is why I ask if its okay to take Vyvanse for my anxiety, right now I'm taking celexa but its not doing nothing for me anymore. I've been taking Celexa for the past 3 yrs and I think its time for me to change my meds.

im on the highest dosage of vyvanse and its supposed to last longer than addorall but it seems to be working less and less...is that possible?? im sick of insurance not paying for this medication yet not getting any other substantial benifit from vyvanse, anyone else experience a increased tolerence to any add meds?

my step son is supposed to take vyvanse and clonidine, but he has been out of vyvance for 3weeks now and seems fine taking only clonidine.

The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

If you have ADHD and a prescription - no worries even if it does show up. If you don't ....then this search showed that, "Vyvanse is detectable in urine up to 3 days after ingesting Vyvanse. Vyvanse is detectable in hair samples for months after ingestion. Though Vyvanse itself only stays in your system four hours post-ingestion, the active drug d-amphetamine stays in your system for 40 hours.

Just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed ADHD, and Vyvanse was prescribed, along with clonidin. I have to really watch my blood pressure now, because if I miss taking the atenenol, my blood pressure will shoot up over 160 really quick. Is there any solution for people with 2 conditions like this where the medication for one condition diametrically opposes the medication for the second condition ? Would some other blood pressure medication work better than a beta blocker ?

My daughter taking vyvanse several months ago. I believe she is abusing the drug. How would she even do that? The pill is a 50mg capsule, now yes it can be opened and it does contain powder inside. But can you really abuse this medication and please explain to me how you would even abuse this medication?

My son who is 9 yrs old has started Vyvanse since January of this year. He is currently on about 25 mg of Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse back in August 2010, and it was the miracle that I've been searching for. Over a span of 4 years, I've taken stimulants including: Concerta, 30mg Adderall IR, and 30mg Adderall XR. Concerta gave me migraines. Adderall XR completely sucked. Adderall IR was the best medication that I found until Vyvanse. Now I think Adderall is horrible in comparison. I've been taking 30mg of Vyvanse for a few months now.

Hi! I've been slowly upping my Vyvanse dose & am currently taking 50mg every morning. I've noticed I can easily take a nap any time of day (similar to before Vyvanse) does this mean my dose is still to low?

we have tried several meds. currently he is on 50 mg of vyvanse, 40 mg of citalopram and 2mg of abilify a day. his behavior is beyond horrible. should i just take him off meds?

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 9 years old. Currently I am on Adderall, because Vyvanse was too expensive when I didn't have insurance. I took 60 mg of Vyvanse for three to four months, back in mid-2009; it was absolutely amazing. It was very smooth, it lasted around the 12-14 hours my Psychiatrist said it would, and I did not give me any side effects.
