It happened to me to. I also really like orange juice. I found minute made orange juice with low acid and that did the trick. So you should try that.

Hi! So I just had to come to google to see why my Vyvanse wasn't working for me anymore, and I saw your comment.. I have been on Vyvanse for maybe a year now and have found that my 70 mg dosage just isn't kicking in or working as well as it used to for me anymore?? So is this happening with you as well? Like it's still really hard for me to focus, and I really don't feel the effect of the medicine at all anymore. I wonder whats happening?

My therapist chose that dose because the 20mg of adderall xr wasnt quite working good enough and she said that the 60 of vyvanse was the same as 25 to 30 of the adderall so I was very surprised at the reaction I had. I think I might ask her if I can just go back to the adderall.

I recommend that you always check with your prescribing doctor or a pharmacist before taking any supplements, since Vitamin C and citrus fruit juice can interfere with and/or prevent the breakdown of Vyvanse into its active form which can be used by your body.

I'm 29 weeks and I drink a lot of Orange juice about every other day I stop by jamba juice to get freshly squeezed orange juice (too lazy to make my own so early in the morning) but my baby is doing great nothing wrong so far.. Ok. So I tried the mixture, 1/2 cup orange juice and 1/2 cup whole milk. I did this once daily for 2 days but couldn't do it the third day because I got sick and couldn't hold down food or water. After I was prescribed Zofran for nausea I waited a day or two and tried the mixture again, this was Friday December 19th. Saturday December 20th at 4:30 in the morning I woke up to use the restroom. When I whipped there was a bright red blood clot on the toilet paper and another in the toilet.

First, watch when you take the Vit. C. I know that orange juice and other citric acid drinks can hinder the absorption of stem meds. Not sure if a pill would do the same. In regards to your question, my only thought is it just could be the timing. Extended release meds do just that. They release at different times of the day. Possibly, you were unlucky enough to have been tested just shortly after a dose hit your system.
