Just had a sharp pain on neck that lasted a second. Heart rate is about 110 per min because I take vyvanse. No sweating, no nausea.. A little shortness of breath.. Symptoms are usually same time of the mid morning & everything gets worse as I think I'm having a heart attack.... But by 3 in the afternoon or so It gets better. 40 yr old female. 213 lbs 5'5 ". Thanks for anyone response or info. Also.
I have had a neck twitch since elementary school but my parents didn't think it was anything. I am 25 years old and I am in an extremely stressfull management position which may be contributing to this condition. I have recently been diagnosed with ADHD and I am prescribed Vyvanse. I also am prescribed Alprazolam to help with my twitch, it helps a little but it is still unbarable.
I am not prescribed to any type of
medication. I took 40 mg of Prozac and 30 mg of Vyvanse at once. I can't sleep, my hands are numb, I have trouble breathing, I feel very very sick to my stomach, my neck
hurts and I can't stop moving around, what's happening?
Is it safe to take a low-dosage (5mg) Methadone BID for chronic back pain along with Vyvanse 30 mg daily for ADD?
t need meds for it, but thought it would help with the pain med abuse and just listened to the doc. Since starting the Vyvanse I now realize that it is just as addictive and habit forming as the pain meds for me. I took it correctly for maybe a month if that (started on it in Jan of this year). I realized it was becoming a problem so I tried to stop.
My son has been takiing this med Vyvanse for adhd, so I decided to take it to see if it would help me with my depression and anxiety, and it worked great, I didn't have any side effect to it. This is why I ask if its okay to take Vyvanse for my anxiety, right now I'm taking celexa but its not doing nothing for me anymore. I've been taking Celexa for the past 3 yrs and I think its time for me to change my meds.
im on the highest dosage of vyvanse and its supposed to last longer than addorall but it seems to be working less and less...is that possible?? im sick of insurance not paying for this medication yet not getting any other substantial benifit from vyvanse, anyone else experience a increased tolerence to any add meds?
3 days later I started feeling horrible, Out of breath, horrible back pain, sleeping problems, nasuea, diahrea, swollen ancles, night sweats, chest pain and more. Its weird because the week before the last week of june I was completly fine, Play basketball and sports with out getting tired since I'm an all year around athelete.Also, yesturday I went to see my rhemutologist once agian due to shortness of breath and horrible sleep problems.
my step son is supposed to take vyvanse and clonidine, but he has been out of vyvance for 3weeks now and seems fine taking only clonidine.
The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.
s breathing thru a straw. Arms draw to body, neck draws down to right. His chest tightens so much he stops breathing. It is very painful and is aware the entire time until he stops breathing. He has complained of a real bad headache on top of his head since the first attack, 5 wks ago. He was taking Vyvanse for 1 yr prior to this so, the original diagnosis was acute adverse reaction to it but after the second attack they decided it wasnt that.
If you have ADHD and a prescription - no worries even if it does show up. If you don't ....then this search showed that, "Vyvanse is detectable in urine up to 3 days after ingesting Vyvanse. Vyvanse is detectable in hair samples for months after ingestion. Though Vyvanse itself only stays in your system four hours post-ingestion, the active drug d-amphetamine stays in your system for 40 hours.
My 20 year old son recently gradually weaned off 60 mg/day Vyvanse so that he can join the Marines (must be off for 1 year - military rules). He is having a very rough time. Extreme fatigue, totally unmotivated, extreme focus issues. He says he feels like a totally different person off totally off the med. Appetite is high too but he knows how to control that. My question is are these symptoms temporary - does it take a while for his body to adjust to being off the med?
I currently take Prozac, Lithium (ER), and Vyvanse each 1x a day. I also get an injection of Depo-Provera once every 3 months. I also have an Rx for Xanex, which is to be taken as needed, but I have not taken it in months. I also often self-medicate with caffine pills - I took two 200mg caffine pills yesterday around 5pm. I also took some Aleve at that time, as I have been having eye pain and headaches for the last two weeks and I was hoping to aleviate that pain.
Just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed ADHD, and Vyvanse was prescribed, along with clonidin. I have to really watch my blood pressure now, because if I miss taking the atenenol, my blood pressure will shoot up over 160 really quick.
Is there any solution for people with 2 conditions like this where the medication for one condition diametrically opposes
the medication for the second condition ?
Would some other blood pressure medication work better than a beta blocker ?

My daughter taking vyvanse several months ago. I believe she is abusing the drug. How would she even do that? The pill is a 50mg capsule, now yes it can be opened and it does contain powder inside. But can you really abuse this medication and please explain to me how you would even abuse this medication?
My son who is 9 yrs old has started Vyvanse since January of this year. He is currently on about 25 mg of Vyvanse. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it takes a long time to kick in, like about 2.5 hours for my son. So often in the morning he will seem unfocused so will not do well during early 8am test. His doctor and I discussed trying Ritalin first in the morning and then adding Vyvanse, which is the reverse of what many people do.
I am really sensitive to medications. Adderall was like what I imagine taking crystal methamphetamine feels like. At least I felt like how those people looked.
I have been on Vyvanse for a while now. And was worried when they doctor said it was very similar to Adderall XR. But he promised me that the issues I was having with feeling ill, insomnia, and no appitite would lessen on Vyvanse. And that the nasty, gross stimulant feeling I got from Adderall would go away.
