Vyvanse how to abuse

Common Questions and Answers about Vyvanse how to abuse

vyvanse

First, how old is she? Second, vyvanse is formulated to make it difficult to abuse. Google it and you will see what I mean. It is very hard to abuse due to its chemical formulation. What is your daughter doing that makes you think she is abusing the medication?
I googled them to find out what they were. 1st I don't know how to figure out if he is actually taking them or if he is selling them. I know he has been smoking a lot of pot and I have confronted him about it. But he is 20. I have given him a timeline to move out- April 15th. But I have 2 little ones here and am afraid if the side effects of this drug are severe that maybe I should be doing something more? I guess I am afraid to confront him to that extent. He is 6 ft tall and 180lbs.
I may have mild ADHD, but it is manageable and I really don't need meds for it, but thought it would help with the pain med abuse and just listened to the doc. Since starting the Vyvanse I now realize that it is just as addictive and habit forming as the pain meds for me. I took it correctly for maybe a month if that (started on it in Jan of this year). I realized it was becoming a problem so I tried to stop.
he faked being ADHD???to get vyvanse from her. How the hell to you do that? And be on Ambian and restoril and Xanax??????? How unethical is that? I went with him to his shrinks office and she took him off the ambian and "dosed" him down on vyvanse...this was last June 2011. He was unwilling to end it entirely by late Nov. I ended it. These shrinks should have their licenses yanked! I was put thru hell for 3 yrs. not knowing about the vyvanse.

Appt coming up to discuss this and I am hoping he will switch me back to vyvanse and allow me to take it twice a day in order to get full coverage. Any advise on what to tell my Psych. at my Dr. Appt, or any research/evidence that I could read would be GREATLY appreciated!
I am going to be stopping vyvanse tomorrow after taking/abusing it for a month and a half to two months the last refill was for 50mg and most days I would take 2. I have some wellbutrin that might help. I would appreciate any suggestions/thoughts you might have. I had about 4 or 5 days off a week or so ago between waiting on my refill and I was very lethargic. I did not have any wellbutrin then.
I am an adult taking Vyvanse and have had experience with all other ADHD meds. Vyvanse, though stronger than some meds, seems to step up to the plate where all the others fall short in some way. Focalin/Concerta/Ritalin all helped calmed me down, however did not help with focus and concentration as much. They also created some problems with appetite loss, and insomnia, also the ups and downs of the meds coming on and wearing off everyday was tough at times.
He then prescribed to me the amphetamine, Vyvanse (30mg). I was to take it the very next morning after breakfast. I have had very few problems with the my other medications, like the antidepressant, Zoloft (50mg), and the antihistamine, Zyrtec (10mg). But I have started to notice some very disturbing and confusing side effects the same day I started taking this. On Friday, I had taken one pill in the morning and left to go to school (I had taken my other medications the night before).
I'm up to 10 to 15 a day now and take five just to get me moving in the morning. This is no way to live. How long and how hard are the with drawals from it? I don't want to live my life around this drug anymore. Just a word of encouragment some times is what I think I need and to know that I am not alone.
I am a 24 year old female and have been taking 3 different medications for a little over a week straight, only one of which is prescribed to me, and i would appreciate any advice as to how great of a risk i am taking relating to the chance of overdose or death, the warning signs of an overdose, the chance of death, the chance of seizures, which i am terrified of having, of warning signs of a seizure, and any advice as to the amount of damage i may be causing my body and brain.
I have a TENS unit for my back (I just need to get the electrodes to work correctly) and an inversion table. I meditate and try progressive relaxation techniques. I am getting a new pain doctor who will hopefully help me get physically "better" quicker than my current "spacy and forgetful doc." I am also 1 shot into my series of lumbar epidural injections. My current med is OxyIR 1-2 15mg tabs q4-6hrs.
It may be habit-forming if used for a long period of time. Use Vyvanse only as prescribed. Do not share it with others. Abuse of Vyvanse may cause serious heart problems, blood vessel problems, or sudden death.
im getting very confused just writing this post but im doing my best. i cant figure out how to move forward. but i tell myself to not get upset about this because thats more stress i dont need. i cant focus, the loss of interest is huge, i cant get out of bed to do anything, even if i dont have work. nothing positive has come from dxm. i dont know what to do i feel like my mind keeps falling into these holes that take me for ever to dig out of. i cant find my groove you know.
If I can help it, I don't want to depend on anything. I'm looking for resources to help me manage time and my tendency to jump ahead in conversation because my brain is going toooo fast. I want to do this with some training of my brain. Is there some kind of exercises I can do to learn to listen and absorb information that way? What about calendaring? Any ideas? I'm an adult female. I have the attention deficit thing mostly in the listening department.
It sounds really promising for people that don't need the strength of the Fentanyl (which I'm on) and don't want to have to worry about taking the pills every few hours!! I'll be looking for your updates..........
Now my question is how does a 16 year old (or others of any age) abuse adderall? How exactly do they abuse adderall? How is it done? Im asking because I have high position that my daighter is not only "trying" to abuse her vyvanse but I think she also doing adderall and getting it off the streets (from friends she may know or known drug dealers). I can just see a big difference in her behavior.
I may have mild ADHD, but it is manageable and I really don't need meds for it, but thought it would help with the pain med abuse and just listened to the doc. Since starting the Vyvanse I now realize that it is just as addictive and habit forming as the pain meds for me. I took it correctly for maybe a month if that (started on it in Jan of this year). you need to see a psychologist or therapist too, they can give you some suggestions of how to deal with things as they come and maybe exercises to do or things to practice. i have already changed psychologist (therapy) because my other one just didn't do anything. this new one i've actually seen before and i know she is good and compassionate.
I'm a stay at home mom of two kids as well and they are close together in age and understand how that it is not ideal to take them with you to everywhere you go. If you have a friend that you can 'trade' occasional babysitting with, this works great---- meaning that during your doctor's appts. she will watch your two kids and you will watch hers when she has something to do and needs a couple hours of childcare. That is unless you have someone to ask.
I do not know how it is for others, but for me I have never been able to get a Docter to give me more meds for my pain. I only take my cymbolta and busepar and balacet. And sometimes I feel as if im going mad. But my doc wont help me. So i go to the emergency room and they always help me.
to admit you have a problem, let alone search for help on how to tackle it. I am proud to say I am 8 months clean, after a 6 year addiction to every prescription opiate under the sun. It all started with a Vicodin in high school... Before I knew it My life revolved around it, & if I didnt have it I wasnt interested in doing a damn thing. I decided to quit cold turkey after relocating to Ft. Carson last September. I used our move as a clean slate, no connects, no doctors for hook up, etc.
have u talked to ur dr??? effexor is an anti-depressant...may need to taper it to quit but shouldnt be a real tough one//.but if u r depressed then u may need to stay on it....vyvanse is an amphetamine//but a new one that sposdly has a built in abuse control thingy in it....but not thinkin it comes in a 50 mg dose...believe it is 30, 60 or 70 but not positive..anyway 50 mg is not the highest dose..and amphetamines can have a mental wd//not physical as a rule but everyone is different...
think about the next scared 15 year old kid who all of a sudden has this problem and doesn't know where to turn, he may never think to look on the internet for our posting of the cure, so it is OUR job to spread the word on how to diagnose, treat, and cure this disease. It is our job to make sure the medical community sees that these symptoms ARE POSSIBLE, etc.
How long has this been going on??? Did it start with new meds? At nine,he should know how to use the bathroom and wipe his behind. Maybe this kid is controlling the only thing he gets to control and getting lots of attention from you. Leave the kid alone. Feed him fruits and veggis with some fiber and get him to drink lots of water. He'll go eventually. Let him know that you expect him to clean himself and bathes every day.
Hi, Your doctor is being smart to not put you on a combination of Adderall and Concerta. They are both nervous system stimulants and together they can cause cardiac events such as a heart attack... How long have you been on the Bupropion? It can take 6-8 weeks to have any effect on your body..but that drug in most cases is not used to treat ADD and studies have proven that its not very effective in treating ADD.
I am going to discuss with my Dr. about getting ADD/ADHD medication, how do I ensure him that it is for the right reasons and not to abuse it like a lot of people do these days. I am not on any other medications and only go to the Dr. if I desperatly need too. I hate to take pills but I am trying to be the best person that I can, which means medication. I am a mother, a wife and a co-worker. I have a lot on my plates as many of us do.
Since then my doc switched me over to Adderall (ER) b/c it is easier to find. I'm not a big fan of how to Adderall (ER) made me feel (little anxious, restless, and oddly enough I had a lot of disorganized thinking -- very strange). Doc put me on Vyvanse this month and not tolerating it well. Anyhow - I am wonder if anyone else is having trouble getting Adderall IR. Does anyone know when the supply is supposed to catch up with the demand??
