The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

I started out on Vyvanse, then due to insurance went to generic Adderall. I found Vyvanse to work much better, so I think I solved the insurance problem and I'm going to go back on Vyvance soon after I finish my Adderall generic. I found no transition problem between the two medicines. All these meds are really the same sort of thing. But it isn't wise to mix medicines. I know doctors would not like this.

Hi guys, I know it's been some time since I last posted something. I was able to get the 120 mg of Adderall xr , and I was feeling better. I wanted to give Dexedrine a chance so as to take a break from Adderall, I was given Dexedrine spansules 90 mg. It is smoother compared to the Adderall, but it doesn't last long as the 120 of Adderall. Dexedrine did bring hope to me as in being another choice other than Adderall, but the 90 mg is not doing it.

I'm not a member of this Forum but read your post. While I haven't been labelled with the same things you have, I have experienced and felt so much of what you described. Just a question - why is Vyvanse not approved for use by adults? What is it and what does it do? If it helped why can't you still take it? Ironically, a lot of my anxiety and depression occurred when I was nearly finished my PhD.

It doesn't sound like the Genetic testing is worth the money. Yes, increasing the meds might be a good idea. I would be tempted to try a 40 Vyvanse. Definitely show your dosage information to your doctor.

My doc prescribed me 70mg Vyvanse, to compare with my Adderall dose previously prescribed. When feeling the effects of Vyvanse it is truly a saving grace and I really feel "limitless". I think clear, I don't feel over stimulated or the out of body experience like other ADHD drugs. I'm in an industry that I must utilize critical problem solving skills, think extremely creative and relay high end technical knowledge to CIO's and executives on a daily basis.

My pharmacy told her my dosage was never that high which is a lie. She wants to switch me to something else but doesnt really know what, and i wouldnt mind trying other things if it would help me 16 hours a day. Problem is im scared she dunno whats best to switch me to or if she should switch me to something and then still provide me with a single dose of adderall? My 16 year old son has been on Vyvanse for almost 4 years. Vyvanse has caused major anxiety and symptoms of OCD. A couple of months ago I had to take him to the emergency room because he was having heart pains and his left arm was numb. After cutting his dose from 50 mg to 40 mgs, the symptoms went away after 24 hours. I now have him on 30 mg and I'm in the process of weaning him off. The risks are too high compared to the benefits.

I used to be on Vyvanse and Adderall twice daily. It worked well. I have been off them for years until a month ago. Dr put me on 70 mg of Vyvanse but no adderall. I have been unmotivated, tired and in a fog. I have hypothyroidism too and reduced my dosage so that didn't help either. Talking to Dr tomorrow and get the meds straight. Like tam97 said, tolerance is a natural part of taking any stimulant medication. Your body adjusts to it. I'm not advertising anything, I'm not a doctor, but I'll just point out that Adderall is the best for appetite suppression, and as far as I know doesn't make you fall asleep (quite the opposite, really, it beats No-Doze any day!). I think you won't have any problems with tolerance for at LEAST several months before you have to change the dosage, though.

as the Vyvanse only seems to cover me from 7am to about 2pm. I was on 100% d-amp but just yesterday switched to a new drug (Evekeo) which is 50% d-amp and 50% l-amp..
