I was prescribed Vyvanse around 5-6 months ago and take it on a regular basis (40mg). I was upped to 40mg about two months ago. I have had clumps of hair falling out, usually in the shower and can noticeably tell that my hair is thinning. I am a 22 year old Female and have never had this problem before. I have no other health problems to my knowledge. I'm currently in college, which is why stopping the Vyvanse just isn't an option right now.
I have been taking Vyvanse for ADD for a few months. Since taking it I have developed pain associated with bowel movements; hemmorrhoids, pain post bm, blood etc. I checked for side effects for Vyvanse but aside from stomach pain, and diarrhea no other relatable side effects were shown. I was curious if anyone taking this medication or similar type of medication has experience this or been able to manage this issue.
I take Vyvanse 20mg. I received a new batch from Express Scripts yesterday and they felt different so I started looking at the capsules and they are only half full. I called Express Scripts and they said that it was probably just settling from shipping. But I've never had that happen before. Not sure where to go from here or who to call. Any suggestions? Thanks!

She is really pushing Vyvanse even though I told her I am an addict and one of my drugs of choice was Adderal which the Rehab says is actually "speed". Isn't Vyvance a type of "speed" also. I desperately want help but not enough to risk getting back into abusing yet another substance and give up my sobriety date. She says she will only give me 7 at a time which will keep me from getting addicted but I can still abuse. I need advise. This scares me.

My son was just recently diagnosed with ADHD and started on Vyvanse. Sometimes he swallows the pills and sometimes he waste them. So I have tried to mixed them with water and it doesn't seem effective. Is there a magic formula. so much med and so much water? Please help me am I missing something?
My 13 year old daughter has been on Vyvanse for almost 4 years now! She is on a 40mg. It works well when she takes it but the lasting effect is getting shorter with time! It now only last maybe 4 hours. So witb school and the homework...its almost impossible to get it done! Her Dr. Said uping the mg wouldnt help. So should i just change her med altogether? (All 40mg) took one about 27 hours ago, 25 hours ago and 17 hours ago (didnt sleep one bit last night)and now I can't sleep and am extremely nauseated and have vomited twice. How long until I can take other meds (in case the vomiting doesn't stop by tomorrow) such as promethazine or emetrol? My son has been takiing this med Vyvanse for adhd, so I decided to take it to see if it would help me with my depression and anxiety, and it worked great, I didn't have any side effect to it. This is why I ask if its okay to take Vyvanse for my anxiety, right now I'm taking celexa but its not doing nothing for me anymore. I'm tired all the time and practically a person that is always in shambles. I'm 41 yrs old and diagnosed with ADHD because of my symptoms. I was prescribed Vyvanse. I took 20mg today but it put me to sleep. I was wondering if there was a possibility of me having thyroid problems because of this effect the Vyvanse had on me? I thought i was going to be focused and energized. Can you please let me know if this is the effect Vyvanse does to people with thyroid problems?
