I heard that the vyvance takes 2-7 days to come out your system to pass a dt, but the adderall only takes 2-4 days to come out to pass a dt. Now why are they different if they are both for ADHD? I don't really understand. I've taken both and the adderall in my opinion is a lot better for me! It calms me, but give me energy. Weird but, true. Lol! And the vyvance doesn't help at all in my opinion!

I started Vyvanse back in August 2010, and it was the miracle that I've been searching for. Over a span of 4 years, I've taken stimulants including: Concerta, 30mg Adderall IR, and 30mg Adderall XR. Concerta gave me migraines. Adderall XR completely sucked. Adderall IR was the best medication that I found until Vyvanse. Now I think Adderall is horrible in comparison. I've been taking 30mg of Vyvanse for a few months now.

I started out on Vyvanse, then due to insurance went to generic Adderall. I found Vyvanse to work much better, so I think I solved the insurance problem and I'm going to go back on Vyvance soon after I finish my Adderall generic. I found no transition problem between the two medicines. All these meds are really the same sort of thing. But it isn't wise to mix medicines. I know doctors would not like this.

Additionally, it shut up my racing thoughts, which was such a relief.

I have a real sensitive stomach and immune system, and am allergic to a lot so I would think that you can handle most of these. The best working were the Daytrana, Adderall XR, and Vyvanse, and the Adderall you are taking may be different than what I take(XR) The other Adderall hurt my stomach and made me sick if I didn't eat, but I have no problem with the XR.

I think that you are asking for something that is not plausible. 90mg is a pretty high dose. I know that a lot of people say that they take higher doses than that. Some do. The max that is approved by the FDA for treatment of ADD is 30mg. Of course, doctors can prescribe more but they usually won't. Unless you've been with them a long time you work up to it. A doctor might be more receptive to giving you more if you weren't on Ambien too.

The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.

I highly prefer Vyvanse over adderall because I do not suffer from side effects w/Vyvanse as with the adderall. The Vyvanse is much smoother than most all other adhd drugs. I have never experienced shortness of breath while taking Vyvanse, however, I am 25 years old and 180lbs. I am also a Registered Nurse. I would imagine that these annoying side effects will eventually subside with continued therapy w/Vyvanse. Give it 2-3 weeks becaue his tolerance needs to build up first.

I am really sensitive to medications. Adderall was like what I imagine taking crystal methamphetamine feels like. At least I felt like how those people looked. I have been on Vyvanse for a while now. And was worried when they doctor said it was very similar to Adderall XR. But he promised me that the issues I was having with feeling ill, insomnia, and no appitite would lessen on Vyvanse. And that the nasty, gross stimulant feeling I got from Adderall would go away.

Vyvanse is a newer ADD med and I specifically requested something other than Adderall due to side affects. My doctor explained to me that because Vyvanse has a very good time release the boost is similar however not as overbearing and much easier as it wears off than Adderall because the "come down" or "crash" does not cause such a severe low. All ADD meds have their down side and generally the anti depressant is the counteract to this.

Has anyone else developed a sore throat or cough on Adderall XR? If so does regular Adderall have the same effect. I'm a 48-yr old female trying to find the correct treatment for ADD. Vyvanase was prescribed for me as an alternative to Adderall XR, because when that was first prescribed, it didn't last long enough (20 mg) and Vyvanase is supposed to have a much longer, smoother effect. Vyvanasee is supposed to be "exactly the same molecule" as Adderall - after it is ingested and goes through your system (and therefore less likely to be abused).

Why are you taking 3 Vyvanse pills of 70mg = 210mg?? Stop taking that much. I have been on Vyvanse for a legit condition for 7 years and have only recently had to have a small mg tablet add-on of adderall XR to take at the end of the day if my Vyvanse feels like its wearing off. My son has been on vyvanse for 4 months now, he is having horrible side effects, to the point where you can't reason with him. We need to get him off this terrible drug before it kills him. You can't just stop taking it because, so how do we get him off this drug?

I was recently put on adderall to help combat some of the excessive fatigue and trouble focusing I'm having related to my disease and medications. The doc choose this med over provigil because of cost. Does anyone have experience with taking either of these for excessive fatigue or focusing issues? I'd just like to know how it worked for you.
