vyvanse and weight loos

No dose seemed to fit for me. But, I lost the weight I was needing to lose (20 lbs) and if I go off Vyvanse, will it come back on with a vengance? I have heard hunger just is out of control when stopping this drug. So I am afraid to stay on it and I am afraid to go off it.

I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. But I've been weak, fatigued, and dizzy at times because I'm not eating enough. Are there any protein shakes I should try, or something like that, so I can be getting the nutrients I need? I hate most protein shakes because I can't stand the texture, and they're usually gross. But I have to do something.

I'm 32 years old and have struggled with both Adhd and weight problems. I went to see my doctor and he put me on phentermine 37.5mg once a day and topamax 23 mg in half doeses twice dailey. I also take adderall 20mg twice Dailey. I asked him if theses two meds who interact with one another and his response was no . I guess my question is how do I safely spread them out during the day. It seems I can't get it right because when I take either or I get very anxious .

Hi I am 31 yr old male (Vegetarian), 5 feet 9 inches. Recently i loos around 4 kg of weight in 30-45 days, But now it's not coming down. I do following exercises (5 days a week) 1. walk(@6.5 km/h) for 5km. 2. Cycling (@15km/h) for 5km. 3. Push-ups(10) 4. sit-ups (50) 5. Chest press etc. Diet 1. 1 glass milk(skimmed) without sugar. 2. 3 chapati + pulses/ green veg 3. sprouts or salads in dinner. 4. 1 glass milk(skimmed) without sugar.

I have been on Vyvanse and i never gain weight also Dexetrine with is in the same family and also my brother has been on adderal no weight gain. So i wouldnt worry about weight. we all took it for adhd.

s side effect is to make them hungry and gain weight!!! Plus it helps with her allergies and asthma!! She is maintaining and has grown over the summer... so far so good... I hope this helps you...

So I went and visited a general practitioner that specializes in weight loss. He prescribed Vyvanse to take in the morning then before bed I am supposed to take Topamax (migraine medicine) and Trintellix (an antidepressant) as well as a diet. I started on the Vyvanse mostly b/c I also suffer from ADHD and it is really great so far for my attention at work.

He takes 50 mg of Vyvanse daily and was wondering if anyone has experienced this side effect with Vyvanse. Thank you.

After taking just the 300mg Wellbutrin, 5mg Valium, and aspirin, and 70mg Vyvanse, my pressure gradually started climbing; when it got to 149/89, I took 50mg Atenenol; over a relatively short period of time, it was back down to 129/79, but that's still too high, IMO. I'll survive without the Vyvanse; I'm going to see if I can't get my blood pressure down to a normal level with weight loss (215 now, should be 190 max) and exercise. Thank you.

I have been on Topamax for 2 years,The first year and half I was fine but suddenly according to doctor lost weight.I think she needs to look deeper on weight loos cause I only take 50 mg at bedtime and 50 morning.So not a large dose. I think she needs to make sure none my tumors have turned to Cancer I have neurofibromatosis 1 and in my family it turns to cancer.

Hello my name is John and was wondering if anyone can share experiences with Vyvanse. I started Vyvanse 3 months ago and my Doctor started me on a low dose and slowly upped the dose to 50 mg which worked great for me, but I wanted to see if 60 mg would benefit me more. I tried it for 2 weeks and it was definitely too much, it made me very up tight and not myself. So I went back down to 50 mg and now it seems if the 50 mg doesn't work as good as before. Has anyone experienced this?

My question is this: Has anyone taken adhd medication such as vyvanse and is in recovery from adrugs and alcohol?

Vyvanse will not make your stomach shrink. A loss of appetite is normal. And of course, if you are not eating, your stomach will shrink a bit. And, I doubt that you are feeling more depressed because of the Vyvanse. You are feeling depressed because of you stopped the zoloft and because of your medical condition. Depression and anxiety are a very common co-disorders of ADHD and while V can help with some of the reasons for the depression. It doesn't happen overnight.

He angrily snapped at me and said will check with my family dr about the Vyvanse - insinuating it was prescribed maybe? He had known all along and in my chart that I take Vyvanse. Firstly, your suggestion for the Vitex to raise progesterone and balance estrogen...Those were tested in my PCOS bloodwork. They were perfectly NORMAL, in fact, better than normal. Secondly, my DHT levels. ALSO normal. Thirdly, you suggested yeast infection when I never made any mention of anything like that, and you blamed it on the hormone in balance, which they are in perfect balance, and the antibiotic use, which I haven't been taking that long.

Hi. This is an old post, but have you found out anything about visceroptosis and it's treatment? I have it and doctors won't believe me or do anything. They don't listen to me when I explain about it. I've told them a standing scan will show but they don't know anything about the condition or its treatment.
