I have never taken a pill like this before. Realizing I could possibly overdose and maybe die or even to get high... I took 3, 60mg Vyvanse capsules. I popped them at about 10:20 PM.. later in the night, I started to have a faster heart beat, having a hard time breathing, I was dizzy, my pupils were very big, I was panicking all night, my depression and anxiety only seemed to get worse, my forearms and legs started to hurt.
(All 40mg) took one about 27 hours ago, 25 hours ago and 17 hours ago (didnt sleep one bit last night)and now I can't sleep and am extremely nauseated and have vomited twice. How long until I can take other meds (in case the vomiting doesn't stop by tomorrow) such as promethazine or emetrol? Because I read that promethazine and vyvanse makes the vomiting a lot worse..so plz help me...I'm gonna go puke again...

Hi! So I just had to come to google to see why my Vyvanse wasn't working for me anymore, and I saw your comment.. I have been on Vyvanse for maybe a year now and have found that my 70 mg dosage just isn't kicking in or working as well as it used to for me anymore?? So is this happening with you as well? Like it's still really hard for me to focus, and I really don't feel the effect of the medicine at all anymore. I wonder whats happening?
But I was on adderal 30mg 2 x daily, started methadone and then adderall 20mg 1 x day and 40mg vyvanse 1x a day when this all started slowly but I knew something wasnt right. I stuck it out figuring it'll just take some time to adjust switching around the stimulants I completely eliminated adderal and now I am on a 30 mg Vyvanse and a 40 mg Vyvanse both once a day and I have almost an unbeatable drowsiness I cannot kick from the moment I wake up until the time I go to sleep.
The use of your medications, as prescribed, has relatively predictable side effects, the use of more than directed is never to be done. In addition, combining Adderall and/or Vyvanse with caffeine and/or energy drinks should not be done. (I'm not talking about a cup of regular coffee every day, I'm talking about hi-test coffee [high caffeine] or multiple cups of regular coffee).
I am 19 years old and i am proscribed 50 mg vyvanse pills. In the past 24 hours I have taken 10 pill all together. I have not slept nor thought about going to sleep. I had a break down at work and started crying very hard for no reason. When I get up to do anything my vision goes away and i lose my hearing and all i hear is ringing.. I took a 70 mg vyvanse capsule by dissolving the powder in a water bottle and drinking it about 1.5 months ago. I do not have ADHD, I took it to help me prepare for my exams and the SAT. I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. But I've been weak, fatigued, and dizzy at times because I'm not eating enough. Are there any protein shakes I should try, or something like that, so I can be getting the nutrients I need? I hate most protein shakes because I can't stand the texture, and they're usually gross. But I have to do something.
Hi there, looking for insight on lifestyle habits to better manage bipolar and ADHD disorder. Taking 600mg of lithium and 30mg of vyvanse. Wondering what nutrition choices, sleep patterns and work loads people adopt to better manage there experences with or without the medication. Also looking for information on dealing with anxiety as a result of school stress and side effects from medication.
My 10 year old son, who is ADHD, was taking 30 mg of Vyvanse and it worked fine for like a month and half. The doctor increased his dosage to 40 mg and it was working great, but again the effects seemed to have diminished in two months. The doctor recommended to keep him in the 40 mg of Vyvanse, which he takes in the morning, and in the evening give him 1 mg of Intuniv. Do you know if that will help with his concentration at school?
I started to try different doses of Vyvanse and Adderall, starting at 10mg Vyvanse and going up to 50mg, and starting at 5mg Adderall (IR) and increasing to 10, at most, 4x a day. All of these medications seemed to increase my depressive symptoms, and since I wasn't really retaining much or cognizant of how I was doing, I ended up going three weeks without touching my homework, going to class or talking to my friends.
Well, it was not the Lithium that caused the twitching, as I had a Lithium level drawn after stopping it and the Vyvanse, and my level was a little bit low, indicating that it had probably been at normal levels just a day or two before. Now I have a script for Concerta to replace the Vyvanse, I am just waiting on insurance's prior authorization. I am still on the Prozac and am back on Abilify. The twitching slowly subsided, as did the eye pain, nausea, and dizziness.
The wellbutrin cause be extremme levels of anxiety and made my vyvanse useless.
im on the highest dosage of vyvanse and its supposed to last longer than addorall but it seems to be working less and less...is that possible?? im sick of insurance not paying for this medication yet not getting any other substantial benifit from vyvanse, anyone else experience a increased tolerence to any add meds?
The problem is that my doc prescribed me 60 30mg capsules so im trying to figure out how many 30 mg capsules is 70 mg vyvanse which i know that a 30mg vyvanse is 10mg adderall and 70 mg vyvanse is 30mg adderall.Is 7 30mg vyvanse capsules 70mg dose .I switched from taking 30mg adderall twice a day im going to have to call doc tommorroww.Any help in figuring this out .Thank you Im trying to get 70 mg vyvanse out of these 30mg capsules 1 70 mg or 1 60 is the right dose for me.
Been on Vyvanse since November to help control binge eating , bulimia, and ADHD . Yep I've had a rough year . So a couple months ago I noticed swelling in left breast. Now it's both and they're all vainy. Sorry tmi.... But I'm Terrified of cancer . I'm getting ultrasound in a couple weeks. Just curious if any of you are experiencing this too. Thank you very much! I and no I'm not pregnant :) and I never experienced this during pms until after Vyvanse.
