i took 3 vyvanse 70 mg in the morning then 2 more 12 hours later that was 4 days ago my heart is still pounding and hurting and is off rythem im having breathing problems and getting light headed am i gonna die? im just wondering cause i've got a drug test comming up and im scared if i got to the hospital they will drug test me and it will get back to my p.o.

I know he is not abusing the Vyvanse, but can the Vyvanse be increasing his want of the alcohol and the coke? The warnings for the drug say do not take this medicine if you have addiction issues. Try taking your blood pressure a few times on the Vyvanse and off the Vyvanse, at similar times of day and under similar circumstances. Depending on the results, you may need to talk to the doctor that is prescribing the Vyvanse to see if there is something else that can help your ADHD. Hello. I have recently been prescribed zoloft and dextroamfetamine (vyvanse). My dose has just been raised to 150 zoloft and 50 vyvanse. I am feeling dizzy, I'm sweating like crazy lying down in a cold room, and I've thrown up a few times since I took the increased dosages earlier today. Occasionally it feels like my heart has butterfly wings too. Am I just having panic attacks? I heard the dex can increase anxiety... I don't have insurance here...

I checked for side effects for Vyvanse but aside from stomach pain, and diarrhea no other relatable side effects were shown. I was curious if anyone taking this medication or similar type of medication has experience this or been able to manage this issue.

My 10 year old son, who is ADHD, was taking 30 mg of Vyvanse and it worked fine for like a month and half. The doctor increased his dosage to 40 mg and it was working great, but again the effects seemed to have diminished in two months. The doctor recommended to keep him in the 40 mg of Vyvanse, which he takes in the morning, and in the evening give him 1 mg of Intuniv. I have been taking 300 mg of Wellbutrin and 30 mg of Vyvanse for about a year now and recently my heart has been racing (100-110 beats per minute after sitting on the couch for an hour) and I have been having minor chest pains. I'm 16 years old, male, 6'3", 185 lbs. I have been prescribed Vyvanse to treat my ADD symptoms for about two years (currently at 70mg), and the results have been amazing. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA or higher in every grading period so far in my highschool career. But, I have recently noticed that I often get dizzy while doing cardio workouts, and a dangerously high heart rate. However, I'm in no means out of shape, and am extremely ripped.

Ummm, any stim med can certainly cause the heart to beat faster and thus raise blood pressure. However, all of these meds are fairly quickly out of the system. Thus I am thinking that the tight chest is due to other factors? Are you still on atenolol? If not has your blood pressure returned to normal? Do you have anxiety problems? Are you on any other meds?

And i used to abuse my vyvanse im talking 4-500 mg. If you have a very high tolerance youl feel great but if not it will make you quite sick or worse. Dont have a heart attack buddy.

Hi! So I just had to come to google to see why my Vyvanse wasn't working for me anymore, and I saw your comment.. I have been on Vyvanse for maybe a year now and have found that my 70 mg dosage just isn't kicking in or working as well as it used to for me anymore?? So is this happening with you as well? Like it's still really hard for me to focus, and I really don't feel the effect of the medicine at all anymore. I wonder whats happening?

t bad but this year has been awful, i have been experiencing Heart stings, palpitations, shortness of breath and Low heart rate (which usually causes me to panic). I am 16 and i swim every day for 2 hours, eat healthy, and only drugs/medication i have ever taken is vyvanse for Adhd. I have told my parents about me feeling like my heart beat is low/weak and that i get dizzy and anxious from it, so i got a EKG done.

i'm not an MD. But I recall pulse tests made at Westpoint and varied bewteen 40 and 110. All in healthy cadets.

ive lost over 7lbs and about a weeks time and ive lost muscle to the point where going to the bathroom is a little difficult. But my biggest problems are my heart rate and memory loss. I heard vyvanse is used for ADHD and ADD but the drug, even at 20mg (lasting 8-10hours) has positive impacts on the psycho-social arena. When i was about 5 or 7 years old thats when my doctor told my mom i have ADHD. My doctor gave me to take Vyvanse and Strattera. The Vyvanse i take is 60mg capsules and for Strattera i take 60mg capsules to. I had problems over the years. I get distracted very easily but i try not to look or be distracted but its hard sometimes. especially when people are talking, making noise and being annoying is distracting me. There are other stuff i turn my attention to though.

But I was on adderal 30mg 2 x daily, started methadone and then adderall 20mg 1 x day and 40mg vyvanse 1x a day when this all started slowly but I knew something wasnt right. I stuck it out figuring it'll just take some time to adjust switching around the stimulants I completely eliminated adderal and now I am on a 30 mg Vyvanse and a 40 mg Vyvanse both once a day and I have almost an unbeatable drowsiness I cannot kick from the moment I wake up until the time I go to sleep.

Well, it was not the Lithium that caused the twitching, as I had a Lithium level drawn after stopping it and the Vyvanse, and my level was a little bit low, indicating that it had probably been at normal levels just a day or two before. Now I have a script for Concerta to replace the Vyvanse, I am just waiting on insurance's prior authorization. I am still on the Prozac and am back on Abilify. The twitching slowly subsided, as did the eye pain, nausea, and dizziness.

I take Vyvanse 20mg. I received a new batch from Express Scripts yesterday and they felt different so I started looking at the capsules and they are only half full. I called Express Scripts and they said that it was probably just settling from shipping. But I've never had that happen before. Not sure where to go from here or who to call. Any suggestions? She is really pushing Vyvanse even though I told her I am an addict and one of my drugs of choice was Adderal which the Rehab says is actually "speed". Isn't Vyvance a type of "speed" also. I desperately want help but not enough to risk getting back into abusing yet another substance and give up my sobriety date. She says she will only give me 7 at a time which will keep me from getting addicted but I can still abuse. I need advise. This scares me. Thanks!

I take 50mg of Vyvanse daily and have allergies ever now and then. Is it ok to take Benadryl while I'm taking Vyvanse?
