Hello, I am thirteen years old. I am addressing a vaginal odor issue I have dealt with since about seven or eight. I'm quite sensitive about the subject so don't judge me, please. So, when I was younger, I was never taught how to take a bath, I just did it myself. My mom gave me the soap and a washcloth and basically told me "here's the soap and the washcloth, use it" and I washed myself without instruction.
Bottom line - my vulva smells the way it does because I have a very strong smell, even when HEALTHY. Scents are very difficult to characterise, much less describe, so it is certainly a judgment call. Fishy, foul, dank, ammonia-like, etc. might indeed define BV, thrush, or some other infection, but mine is much more like regular sexual (musky, perhaps cheesy, slightly piquant).
Okay. So I have been having vaginal issues. It all started after I had sex with my boyfriend, it was protected sex. But now I have a itching sensation of the vulva and ammonia smell. It isn't always itching, just randomly it will itch. I just recently started getting a light yellow, snotty discharge and also a burning sensation when I pee and even when I am just sitting there I'll start feeling it.

Its uncontrollable. Its not thick or gloopy, and it doesnt exactly have a fishy smell, i cant quite explain the smell. I have vulva itching that lasted about 5 days with no discharge or any symptoms related to a yeast infection. I still bought OTC monistat. Went away after the 5 days. Dont ****** or have any new soaps. It is back again and the only thing I did was fertlize the lawn and pulled weeds the other day. I did notice my hand my fingers stung after I touched a weed , and washed it right away. Could this have anything to do with an allergy?
like I said, she has a discharge and initially it was very dark, almost brownish and it is gradually getting clearer, it is a light pink, but her vulva is not swollen whatsoever, so my question is, because I am not entirely sure yet, is if she is in heat? and if so why is the vulva not swollen? I'm 18 years old. I have not seen a doctor yet, because this comes and goes. I develop swelling, burning, and itchiness on (not in) my vagina. There's not a cottage cheese discharge, there are sometimes a smell, but I mean, that place down there doesn't smell like roses. There was only bleeding once and skin peeling once, but thats because I rubbed it off. I've experienced this about 3-5 different times.
The only time it stops is for a week or sometimes a few days. It has a not so good smell either. I then looked up cervical cancer, and it got me really worried. But, cervical cancer doesn't have white bumps on the outer lips, does it? From what I read, it does. It has white bumps on the cervixs. This is embarrassing to say, but I did explore and the bumps do not go any further than on the lips. I'm at a loss guys.

A few weeks ago I had unprotected sex which resulted in an unwanted pregnancy and an itching vulva along with a raw, foul smell, yellowish discharge, weakness, belly pain and a hard pimple on my pubic area.I also have had a strange taste in my mouth and stomach trouble.Could you shed some light on what possibly could be wrong? I also notice that when I pass wind it is strangely, as if my whole insides are rotting (raw smell also comes up).
I think its coming from deep inside rather than my vulva ( I have rubbed my flaps and inserted a finger and sniffed and they dont smell like the stink I get when sitting or squatting) I am a very clean person and this is really getting me down and making me feel like a freak. I wish it WAS just a fishy smell, then I would know I was kind of normal as lots of these letters have confirmed, but not this stink. Its so upsetting.
I highly doubt it is a yeast infection. It's white-ish yellow, has some chunks, it does not smell any different than normal, and my vagina/vulva does not itch. It's not a really thick substance, either. It's more less just quite a bit that comes out at once (not a whole lot, but more than I can think normal)
