I recently turned 41 and have started having problems with dryness in the vulva leading to painful intercourse. At times it itches and the pain feels like cuts or like needles poking me. At times certain areas will bleed but not necessarily from having intercourse but I think its from the dryness. I have been taking birth control for a while to control heavy menstrual cycles and just recently found out that I am diabetic.
First of all I apologize before hand for sharing TMI.......But....my vulva is very swollen!!!! I'm almost 30 weeks & noticed this morning how swollen my private is....its literally like bulging out!!! No itching...no discharge....no foul smell....its just very very swollen.... anyone else experience same issue???
Whenever I have sex with my fiancee I experience intense pain. The moment we try to start it is unbearable, and feels like I'm being torn apart. We thought maybe it was a dryness issue, but lube did not resolve the problem. After sex I am extremely sore, and it feels as though the bottom of my vulva is ripped. It isn't my vagina that hurts, only the skin around the outside. Any ideas about what's wrong?

I had protected (condom) vaginal intercourse with a new partner a week ago and again two nights ago. The partner has not been tested for HSV but says he has never had any reason to believe he would be a carrier or at risk. The intercourse two nights ago was very rough and not enough lube was used. I was mildly sore and itchy yesterday, which I attributed to the rough sex and also from a yeast infection which I had treated a few days ago.

Okay. So I have been having vaginal issues. It all started after I had sex with my boyfriend, it was protected sex. But now I have a itching sensation of the vulva and ammonia smell. It isn't always itching, just randomly it will itch. I just recently started getting a light yellow, snotty discharge and also a burning sensation when I pee and even when I am just sitting there I'll start feeling it.

After the intercourse I noticed strange eruptions in her genitals, around the vulva. These were like small bubbles shaped in a way that resembled the grains of a cauliflower, situation that made me suspect she is infected with the human papilloma virus in the form of condyloma. Is there a posibility that I might be infected? Is there a lab test or examination that can give me the certainty that I am not?

I have white blood cells in my urine which would suggest either infection or inflammation but when I get a urine test it comes back with no growth. I have had burning pain in my urethra which has irritated my vulva and also I have the urge to pee even after I just have finished. I am waiting for a referral to a urologist but am in constant pain while i wait to get an appointment. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do to decrease the pain?
Sounds like it could be thrush, which can have all of your listed symptoms. Have you had thrush before? It is basically a yeast infection caused by a build up of Candida albicaans. Some people get a yeasty smelling discharge as well. It is usually caused by an upset in the pH balance of your vagina. This in turn can be caused by things such as hormonal changes eg. around menstruation, taking antibiotics and also washing the area with soap.

i didnt show signs of the reaction until two days AFTER i had SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. About 6 weeks ago, I had oral sex performed on me for the first time and I also had protected sex (intercourse) with this person (who is a new partner). Maybe 2-3 days later, I started experiencing irritation and discomfort in my vaginal area. A day or so after feeling the irritation, I noticed that my vagina was very swollen. I started rubbing down there because of the unbearable irritation and it seemed to get worse.
Hi, i'm wondering if i could get pregnant when a drop of semen gets near your vulva? The situation is like this, no penetration or even rubbing of genitals, but completely naked, what happened was that he ejaculated on my lower back and few semen dripped down the butt, on the upper inner thigh and possibly around the vulva or the labia. I wiped it immediately with cloth as soon as i felt it dripped and wash with water. How likely would someone get pregnant this way?
