10844008 tn?1414461825 however, like one of the other ladies mentioned...alkaline water has been my saving grace via my pregnancies. I drink an alkaline brand called aquahydrate and it has electrolytes which can help if you happen to have m/s accompanied w/vomiting . I hope it gets better soon and congrats on baby.

Avatar f tn Hi All, I had a nasty vomiting episode this morning. How do I drink the ton of water if my stomach is crummy? Do I just continue on with the water and take my chances? What about food?
Avatar f tn s more important to keep your fluids up than food. Sip tiny bits of water or whatever drink you can Handel. I hope it gets better!
Avatar n tn I'm 11weeks pregnant but I can't keep anything down even if I drink water I end up vomiting it all,Plz help
Avatar n tn I had severe morning sickness and vomiting starting at 5weeks all the way to my 23rd week. I threw up about five times in a day and ended up in the hospital twice because I was severely dehydrated. Try to drink as much water as you can but don't drink lots of water at once because if not you will probably end up throwing up the water. Try gatorade, ginger ale, crackers, jello, chicken noodle soup, 7up or sprite, popsicles helped me a lot.
11361691 tn?1433948582 I drink a gallon of water a day and I really think that's the main reason I feel good and I'm able to work on my feet all day
6629746 tn?1394066444 I would drink some water and try to hydrate myself, before going in. The cramping and vomiting could be from dehydration. If you drink some water to try to hydrate and that still doesn't work, then I would go in. Try some crackers to settle your stomach so you can keep down the water too. Good luck hun.
Avatar f tn hi ladies. hope you're pregnancies are going well. does anybody else have trouble drinking water? I'm having a lot of troble with my water intake. I can't drink more than 3 bottles. I'm freaking out because I know I need to drink water. but I can't. today I started to add Mio liquid just a little bit to see if the flavor will help me drink more. any of you ladies with the same issue?
Avatar f tn Formula or breast milk is mostly water so they will stay hydrated. If you have a child that is vomiting your Dr may recommend water or pedialyte however on a day to day basis baby should not get water because baby needs the calories and nutrients.
Avatar f tn When I was that bad I got a lot of Gatorade to stay hydrated, and also I bought sea band from rite aid. Think it helped a little the crackers etc nothing helped. I'm almost 16 weeks and still hate the morning when I have to wake up so early!
Avatar f tn I drink water and that comes up too.I mean there isn't nothing I can eat.
Avatar f tn Everytime I get up to pee in the middle of the night, I make sure to drink water afterwards and then in the morning before I even sit up I nibble on the crackers or toast. Lay there for about 10-15 mins and let it settle then get up slowly and go wash your face with cool water. 2 - Another thing I was told was that while it's important to eat, it's more important to stay hydrated....for about a week I was pretty much on a liquid diet to help maintain nutrients and hydration.
Avatar f tn t hold anything down but chicken noodle soup. Should I just eat what I can when I can? And I drink one cup of coffee every morning. Is it OK to continue?
Avatar f tn t been able to eat anything for around 36hrs without bringing it straight back up (I tried plain crackers and dry toast). Even sipping water has me vomiting within 15/20mins of doing so. Question is, should I go see a Dr or maybe there is something I can get from a chemist that can help? Or is this normal and I just need to ride it out? Getting concerned as I feel quite dehydrated...sorry if it's a silly question.
Avatar m tn I have a 7 year old miniature schnauzer that is throwing up, has diarrhea, and heavy breathing. He will drink some water, I've tried boiled rice but he will not eat it. He is very lethargic and we can't get him to the vet before tomorrow. Any suggestions on what I can do at home?
Avatar f tn Stay hydrated!
Avatar f tn Thanks. I am having a hard time keeping anything down including water. I am afraid that this condition is going to harm my baby if I don't get a grip on it.
Avatar f tn Hi there, I was wondering if someone could help. Tried calling the local hospital to just ask for some advice but they say they don't do that. I'm assuming it's food poisoning or something- My symptoms started early today around 12pm (it's now 2am). It started as severe stomach pain. It worsened to vomiting and at this point I'm just vomiting bile. Now I'm also pooping clear water. I keep trying to slowly rehydrate but it is not staying down at all.
Avatar f tn Besides being told "don't have anything to eat or drink after 12 midnight in prep for an endoscopy or colonoscopy," because the test will be cancelled; can you tell me WHY one can not have anything to eat or drink after 12 midnight? What are the risks/consequences? Are there any circumstances whereby it would be alright to ingest something if one had a good reason to do so?
Avatar f tn I think i've been experiencing water brash. Excess saliva is being producing in my mouth, there's a sour/bitter type of taste in my mouth, and my stomach kind of has that watery feeling to it. Sometimes it produces so much that I have to spit it out. Is there anything to help relieve these symptoms? A few weeks ago, the pharmacy told me to take Emetrol, it KINDA worked for a bit, but that's all. My doctor prescribed Prilosec (once a day). Am I going to throw up?
