since being put on insulin (2 weeks) I have experienced gastro problems, extreme gas, a pain right below where my rib cage ends and nausea and vomiting (every other day) This morning after a bad night of pain and nausea I noticed that my stool is clay colored, very light in color ( not as bad as when I first got the bout of Hep C 25 years ago my stool was the color of a sheet of paper) Could insulin be causing my hep c to flare up or maybe this is just a natural progression of the disease.
Missy dog vomits when she eats or drinks. She can only keep down white rice and small amounts of water at a time. Her stool is normal and stomach isn't hard. I am concerned at she can't continue to just eat rice. I tried boiling hamburer and putting a little in the rice but she vomited that too.
This morning she was playing with other dogs but around 10am she threw up a good bit. No big deal. She went to sleep and I went out for a few hours. She did not throw up at all when I was gone and was just sleeping on the couch. About 30 minutes after I got back she threw up two smaller amount, but the bile was reddish with blood.
I took her outside and she did her business, but nothing our of the ordinary there. Her stool was firm and no blood in that. She urinated without any problem.
I am a healthy 24 year old female but for about 2 months now I have been vomiting what I think is bright yellow bile every couple of days and am very nauseous for most of the day. I don't have insurance so I am trying to get some answers any way that I can. I know this is a very broad symptom, but it normally happens in the mornings and evenings. I am not pregnant and have been eating healthy. Any advice??
s kid (adult kid). My point I am getting to is that I took him to the vet bc he was throwing up a bit and had diareeah and it was messy on his butt. They cleaned him up and gave me some kayopectate stuff (spelling?) and another med. They ran some tests (like lukemia and stuff) and he was fine. She said he seems to be healthy otherwise besides the stomach thing. They gave me some science diet to give him for a few days in hopes it helped (wet food).
My 2 year old female long haired munchkin, Lily, has not been eating on her own or going to the bathroom at all. She throws up after syringe feeding her with soft mushy foods. I took her to the vet last night and they gave her some antibiotics and a fluid shot because she is so dehydrated. Today will make it a week she has been sick. I couldn't afford to pay the vet to keep her overnight with an IV. I left her with my mother in law today who use to work for a vet many years ago.
Comes back up pretty much looking like food. Vomiting continues until he starts dryheaving. He always feels better in the morning and acts pretty much himself. He has had blood work done and I have taken him to a GI doctor, who performed an endoscopy on him, and attributes his vomiting to a nervous, weak stomach. But, somrthing tells me it is more. He also prescribed Prevacid for him that he takes a 1/2 hour before dinner but nothing seems to help.
My cat has constipation, I believe. She hasn't passed any stool since morning as per her routine to do so every morning.
I gave her some yogurt mixed with milk and sugar to loosen her stomach after which she puked the second time. She puked cat food the first time. I gave her yogurt mixed with milk and sugar which was wrong on my part as the online vet told me dairy products make it worse. After she took it she started sneezing and coughing and then puked a lump of stool.
This lasted for about 5 days and then my
symptoms went away, but a couple of days later I started getting a lot of new symptoms without the nausea or vomiting.
My mother has had problems with diarhea and vomiting over the last year or so. This is unusual however because when she has these problems her body is also expelling cyst like growths. They are about the size of large beans (occasionally with smaller ones as well), with a thin membrane on the outside encompassing a whitish center with a similar consistency to string cheese.
Hi,I'm 17 years old and during the past month every few days or week I'd feel nauseous and start vomiting and get diarrhea for a whole day and I wouldn't eat until the next day. And after a few days the same thing would happen.

It sounds like you have gotten a virus of some sort and it should subside in 24-48 hours. Your stool should return to normal consistency and color after that time too.
Generally with just diarrhea and no vomiting they recommend letting it run it's course and dehydration from it is very rare. The electrolytes following diarrhea will generally correct themselves after it ends.
If the symptoms last longer than 48 hours or you start vomiting along with it you need to see your doctor.
I am 8 weeks pregnant and today my doctor prescribed me Zofran for my nausea and vomiting but now I am constipated. She said I could take stool softner for it, however, I don't know what brand is safe to use? Any recommendations??
lately I have been pooping liquidy stool. The bulk of the stool sinks to the bottom but I have floaties. These floaties look like either dead skin or little pieces of colored film. It literally looks like someone sprinkled spices in my toilet. The stool kind of burns and when I wipe I can't tell if there is mucus but it certainly isnt stool

Hi I'm 34 weeks now and last night was an absolute nightmare.i had really severe cramping in my upper abdomen, accompanied by lot of vomiting and passing of watery stool. I'm so scared right now. Had my u/s yesterday and everything was fine. Is it food poisoning? Will my baby be OK?
vet gave him dewormer again shot for back steroid anti diarrhea and vomiting meds, 5 days went by he was still squatting and this time it was like pudding instead of water, he was eating and playing normally drinking water other dog had an apt for nail trim and told vet he was better but still no firm stool and he gave me another emd just for diarrhea i gave that to him friday and saturday he was eating and his stool firmed up perfectly.
i have generalized anxiety disorder and am a severe emetophobe (meaning i have an irrational fear of vomiting) so i instantly started panicking and freaking out. i looked it up and it says normally it signals a liver problem, but im only 17! Why would i be having liver problems?!? this is the first time this has happened to me.

It could be a case of gastroenteritis (gut infection) which has led to diarrhea and vomiting. The main symptoms of gastroenteritis are diarrhea and vomiting although one or the other symptom may predominate.
If the symptoms persist (>1 day), worsen or lead to other complications you should consult your doctor who could order some tests such as stool examination etc.
In the meanwhile take rest and drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration.
my 3 year old daughter has been vomiting and diahorria for 3 weeks now only at night from around 11.30pm onwards,doctors have ruled out a virus and have given her ranitidine as they think it could be reflux in liquid form to be given x2 am and pm and this has still not worked, I am really worried and would love some help, she is fine during the day apart from diahorria she gets that during the night and in the mornings. Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
