Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting up green liquid

vomiting

I have liquid clear green stools. its hard to control bowel movements. Also , burns horribly. should I be concerned? I also had diarrhea last night with sharp stomach pains. I would temporarily fall asleep without know it as well.
I bring up clear gastric juices and finally a large amount (over a pint!) of green bileous liquid - after which I start to recover. I have no bowel movements until the next day, when I get diarrhoea. My stomach is painful for several days because of the heaving and it takes a week to fully recover. At first I thought it was food poisoning but last time it happened I ate only my own food -except for one danish pastry eaten 2 days earlier. Please help!

He throws up green bile This usually lasts for one day. These continued for almost 3 years, during which time he lost weight, missed work, and accrued medical bills. He had colonscopy and x rays and nothing showed up. He also had a test for parasites. Nothing showed at that time. He was told he had IBS. He does not have the dirreah bouts so frequently associated with IBS> He was given phenegram for pain. These attacks stopped two years ago as a direct answer to prayer.
i've been experiencing a yellowish-green discharge currently..and its itchy..im kinda scared bout it..what will i do?im afraid to go to the doctor and know the result..it really bothers me a lot..
He is clearly retching and heaving before he vomits, and his vomit was a small amount of brown/dark green liquid mush. There was no blood or objects. I have already done a little research on the possible causes, but I cannot seem to pinpoint what is actually causing my cat to vomit. I will be taking him to the vet soon, but I would like an idea of what is going on beforehand. Thank you for any help!
When I brought him in for the night, he was coughing and throwing up watery liquid, but no dog food or grass. I also noticed when I fed him at 7:00 that he had thrown up twice recently in the utility room where I keep the dog food, and each watery puddle looked under two hours old, meaning he must've vomited twice between 5 and 6 p.m. He vomited early this morning, around 4 a.m. and this time, it was a brownish color, but still clear.
just a darker red sort of color, like a very minor bruise. To wrap up these odd symptoms, my stool has been a vivid green for the past few days. It could be very possible that this is just from eating some darker colored candy recently, but the quantities I consumed weren't all that large. My diet has been a bit erratic in the past couple weeks.
They were concerned she may have a blockage, but she had a bm this morning. It was small and soft. She is also leaking a pale green-tinged brown- liquid discharge from her vulva. She is leaking quite a bit since yesterday. The vet said she may be losing her pups. It has not been confirmed that she is pregnant. She had an ultrasound on day 36 and showed no pups, but one small spot that "could be" a puppy. She then started the discharge, so I took her in on day 43 for an xray.
Whenever I brush my teeth, my gag reflexes are very sensitive and if my stomach is empty (which it usually is in the morning) I'll throw up what I thought was bial (sp?) It's always a weird yellowish green (toxic sludge) color. Sorry for TMI. :-) Also, I had REALLY bad Heartburn during my first trimester and so I also thought that that may have been the acid in my stomach. Sounds like morning sickness to me :-) good luck!
Again he took water and throw up, everytime he takes something even to drink he throws up this green vomit, he's been like this for almost 7 days without eating or drinking only drip. They also tried to give him food substance drink like choclate yogurt but again he throws up. Now they told us that he cannot have anything liquid or solid so as to give time his smotach to function. Please let me know if they are right or is this normal cause i am very worried for my dad.
about a week ago I started making myself sick (gad been wanting to and attempting to for alot longer) I eat as little as possible all day (I snack still cause it's hard to controll) then straight after tea I have a shower and sick it back up. sometimes it is still in food form others it is liquid with buts of food, how many calories from around 400 (aprox my tea) am I not digesting cause of this?
My son was playing with her with one of her favorite squeaky toys and all of a sudden she stopped and threw up. There was no liquid it was kind of like mush. Anyway, the thing is she ate breakfast at 7 AM. So this happened 5 hours after eating. Why wasn't that food digested and long gone by then? She usually eats 7:00, 3:30, 9:30, roughly. This is not the first time she has done this, vomited while playing.
She also threw up when she woke up that morning. When I say she's throwing up I'm not just talking about a small amount like spit up she is throwing up a lot. Well after she threw up that first time monday morning she was fine again all day and just as happy as could be. Again on monday night and Tuesday morning she threw up again. I have been nursing my daughter every since she was born and I'm wondering if there is any way possible that somehow my milk is making her sick.
He may gag on a large piece of food that hasn't been chewed well enough, but it won't cause vomiting. He can laugh, play, cry without vomiting, etc. He gradually starts eating again after a month or so. It doesn't seem to cause him any discomfort, surprisingly. He throws up and then goes right about his business. We don't usually have any warning or sign that he's feeling nauseous. He doesn't get upset about it or seem to be in any pain.
The green sounds like it's bile if it's a bright green. I would take him to the emergency room ASAP. They can examine his stool for a number of things. They will also probably want to do some blood work to check his liver function among other things. My son had salmonella at 2 months old. He got it from a relative who owned a restaurant. His Pediatrician insisted it was a virus on two separate visits one week apart. He put him on pedialyte to keep him hydrated.
I'd think IF it was a sinus infection, there would be nasty green mucus coming out but there is nothing but clear liquid/mucus. I can't eat, everything smells like vomit/rotten cheese and I want to vomit everything time I take a breath. I am able to breath just fine, my nasal passages are so clear and I have no allergies... everything just stinks like DEATH. I am assuming (gross), that there must be some chunks of vomit stuck somewhere and I don't know how to get it out or what to do.
My kitty, Rain, stopped eating, hardly drinks water, has thrown up a clear foamy liquid but first time it was like a grass green, and he's sleeping all the time with no energy. This has gone on now about 4-5 days. He's an indoor cat. He went outside twice for a couple hrs about a week ago. I can't get him to eat at all. He'll occasionally sip water, and has gotten really thin! My ex just stopped paying me my child support and alimony out of the blue, so I don't have money to go to the vet.
My 1.5 year old male Pharaoh started vomiting early in the morning on Tuesday June 8th, and again on June 9th. After the second time started eating grass like a goat. He had been on a mostly raw diet of ground chicken parts with one can each of tuna sardines per week. I had a very busy period at work and put out dry food for him for about a week before the incident. The brands were Avoderm and Blue Wilderness. We had these around for a month or two for emergencies.
When the tonsils become inflamed/swollen, tiny particles of food can get trapped inside the small crevices of the tonsils. They begin to smell, and eventually, you cough them up, or swallow them. If you have chronic throat problems, your tonsils are probably always swollen...realize that this might be a cycle. Do you suffer from allergies? If so, a daily allergy medication (allegra, claritin, there are lots of others...) may help eliminate the phlegm.
I know there are lots of timetable/food chart guidelines out there, but your child will let you know when their ready for more. If he's throwing up, it's either too rich for his system or he can't digest it quick enough. Don't worry about him turning one soon, Olivia will be one next month and she is 80% breastfeeding, and about 20% solids. Great healthy high caloric foods for him are AVOCADOS, bananas, mostly all fruit, mashed potatos, SWEET POTATOS.
The green liquid your daughter is vomiting up is called "bile". Best thing to do is to try and eat something, like a piece of dry toast, or an arrowroot biscuit and to stay hydrated, by drinking water or light fruit juice (keep off the milk).
At about 3am (the vomiting had been occurring at that point for over 12 hours), she vomited up a very dark green, almost bluish liquid. She had had NOTHING to eat or drink except water. Is this bile? I always thought it was yellowish-green...I don't know if I need to be worried.
she did not eat anything green, she did settle down after she puked the green liquid up. so hopefully she just had a very upset tummy, all the other dogs seem fine also.
00 a.m. he woke up very nauseated and vomiting. The first vomit was black and brown, very liquid. He went back to sleep and at 1:00 p.m. awoke again throwing up. This time it was the color of bright green. Before he went to sleep on Sunday, he ate a green popcycle. Should this not have digested in over 24 hours, also why would it come up after the brownish blackish vomit? The green vomit was very mucousy. I am not sure what to make of this, and his hepatologist is out of town.
The vomit was alternating between bright lime green and dark reddish brown. The dark vomit contained what I can best describe as looking like paint chips - If you took a scraper and tried to scrape the paint off your walls, I looked like what you would sweep off your floor when you were done. This continued for hours, past the point that I would expect him to have any actual food remaining in his stomach. FRIDAY morning he was still vomiting every 20 minutes.
My friend has had naseau for 3 weeks now but only recently begun vomiting yellow liquid. She has also become constipated. There is no feverish symptoms only chronich naseau and now recent vomiting of a yellowish bile substance. She has had a pregnancy test and it is negative. Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated.... Thank you.
