Avatar f tn He has a bottle of milk in the morning with no vomiting. He vomits undigested food at night, not just his dinner, but sometimes his breakfast.
Avatar n tn I am 6+1 and I haven't had the morning sickness kick in full force yet. I'm having to choke down food but no vomiting. I also have a toddler. Dreading when the vomiting starts! Maybe this babe will be a boy and I won't have any morning sickness because with DD I was barfing from 6 weeks well into mid-2nd tri. No advice, just empathy.
Avatar f tn Thanks so much were too excited. . but my question was any advise for intense morning sickness? I cant kep ANYTHING down n im starting to get dehydrated. .help!!
Avatar f tn I have a 2 yr old that started with vomiting 2 weeks ago. Afetr 3 days of vomiting and stomach cramping almost mainly at night, he was admitted to the hospital for dehydration and testing. the Dr ordered blood testing, urine testing, and xray. He seemed to get better and testing showed nothing out of the ordinary. He was released on the third day, but began vomiting as soon as we got home. He was readmitted on the next day.
Avatar n tn We have started him on formula for toddlers because of his weight loss and when he does eat he says his belly hurts and this morning he was throwing up the formula but kept it down today. What do you do for a toddler that will not touch food?
Avatar n tn Not wanting to eat is not as much of a concern as not drinking is - a child can dehydrate very quickly and dehydration can be very serious, especially in a child. Dehydration will also happen a lot faster if the child is also vomiting and/or has diarrhea or a fever. Please do not hesitate - take your child to the ER. Please let us know what you find out and how your child is doing. Best of luck!
1289093 tn?1309361078 For years my husband has been getting up in the morning and vomiting profusely but the only thing that comes up is clear, white or somtimes yellowish liquid. After he goes through that his stomach knots up and he feels drained, weak and just generallly bad. He has had a colonoscopy, upper GI, X-ray, CT scan and ultra sound. They did find he had H.Pylori when they did the upper GI and treated him for that.
Avatar f tn I'm 8 weeks this week and the nausea is getting worse. I didn't even have one day of feeling sick with my first pregnancy. I'm struggling to get out of bed. I'm so exhausted that I'm struggling to do everything day things. Even walking up stairs I have to pull myself up with the railing and I can barely lift things. I feel dizzy. I'm so close to vomiting without actually vomiting. Eating makes me feel better for 10mins but then it's back with a vengeance.
Avatar f tn When he is in a cycle of vomiting, he throws up sometimes more than 4 times a day. Worst times seem to be in the morning and at bedtime. So, he throws up in his bed quite a bit too. He has GERD. He has been tested for gastroenteritis, had done an upper GI, a CT and also endoscopy with normal results. Sometimes he can eat yogurt no problem - but other times he throws it up alot (now). We dont see any patterns with food. We tried him on Pediasure and he did not do well. It did not seem to digest.
Avatar f tn I'm good right now because I'm stuffing my face... Lol.
Avatar f tn Its tough when they are that little. Pedialyte will be of no help unless they have vomiting and diarrhea. As for meds, unless they have an ear infection or something bacterial meds won't be of any help. There are a lot of viruses going around now, including influenza... you should take them to be checked out by the pediatrician just to be safe.
Avatar f tn So my daughter has had trouble with vomiting 3-5 nights a week since she was a toddler (she is almost 11). She has been diagnosed with Asthma and a few environmental allergies. Her allergist stated that the vomiting is due to the asthma. However, I am starting to suspect the opposite may be true. I know vomiting is not good for her esophagus. She does not experience pain before vomiting.
Avatar f tn Ok I am 7 weeks and expecting my first, so far I have just had heart burn, SORE boobs, can't sleep and watering mouth. I have a history of bad bad stomach aches but never really been a "vomity" person, could these "stomach aches" be my "morning sickness" just with out the vomiting? Anyone else have this?
Avatar f tn Im now 14weeks and 4 days my morning sickness has gotten worse ive vomited omost every day this week usually in am and the rest of the day i can eat and drink with no problems acouple days i was vomiting at night any one else having this problem
Avatar f tn My daughter has had proectile vomiting since birth that was written off as reflux until 13 months of age. When I told the pediatrician that she refuses to swallow solids (baby food) at this age, he referred to a GI doc who diagnosed her with eosionophilic esophagitis after an endoscopy. Since then she has been on a elimination diet and is NOT allergic to milk, nuts, soy and wheat. We still have to rule out eggs and shellfish. She is also on Prevacid daily.
Avatar n tn I am hoping someone can please help me. I have been taking my son to a pediatric gastroenterologist for 9 months or more now because he was refusing to eat and had periods of recurring vomiting (not cyclic vomiting) and very low weight. He was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome (via genetic testing) and the Gastro put him on 30mg Prevacid for GERD. Nevertheless, the vomiting and not-eating continues.
Avatar f tn I'm 8 weeks along exactly and this is my first pregnancy. I've experienced nausea to the point where I feel like I'm about to vomit but I never actually have yet. My mother experienced horrible morning sickness right away and so did my sister with all of her 4 kids. It feels like every pregnant woman I've talked to experienced vomiting at some point. I've always had a high tolerance to vomiting and only have in the past due to stomach viruses.
Avatar f tn I had both lots of vomiting and nausea. Consider your self lucky for not vomiting.
Avatar m tn He had intermittent abdominal pain throughout one night and I assumed it was due to constipation. In the morning, I was on hold with the pediatricians office when I looked over at him and he had appeared to pass out. After managing to arouse him just a little, I ended up calling 911. It turns out his glucose was only 40 and he had an elevated white blood count (27,000). He was admitted and evaluated for intessuption (sp? he didn't have it) and given glucose.
Avatar m tn Everything came back ok, but i still suffer from the morning vomiting. He says its just acid reflux, but why wont the prilosec work? It can completely go away by lunch or it can continue for the entire day until i can finally keep something down. Sometimes its happens the night after of drinking, but not always so i think it is something else. maybe allergic to some type of food? Please any advise is welcomed and so appreciated. Im way too young to be dealing with this crap.
