641554 tn?1319841117 Ok is anyone having nausea and no vomiting? What to do to help it. I hate it. I feel it in my throat but nothing is coming out. I just want to stick my finger down there and make it come out. It's all day.
Avatar f tn Postoperative low temperature, nausea and vomiting are unpleasant "normal" immediate and early side effects of surgical procedures due to a combination of factors, the most prominent ones being associated with the administration of anaesthetic and haemorrhage. As the effects of the anaesthesia wear off, normally within 24 hours or less after the surgery, the patient should start experiencing improvement and better temperature regulation.
Avatar f tn I am just getting over that flu that started on the 23rd. Vomiting and everything than turned into chest cold. Tylenol is okay to take for the fever but I was told if you can't control it with meds go in to the er. Watch to make sure you stay hydrated, I hope you feel better soon. Rest!
Avatar f tn Exposure to air while driving causes a continuous clearing of throat and mucus. Last week it seems to be getting worst as i find myself coughing for no reason, pain in my throat, vomiting and shortness of breath some times with a bout of hot flash.. I now have to travel with a bottle of water. Everything does not subside until i clear my throat fully of mucus. During this time, i cannot speak until i clear my throat.
Avatar n tn she went to her doctor (not er) and they gave her a shot to stop her from vomiting (worked for a while, maybe 3 hours) and they ran blood tests and saw her WBC is at 17, max it 10. when she got home from the doctor she started vomiting dark green bile. 3 times now within a hours. Avatar f tn Those are signs of low Iron or hypothyroid or dehydration which could be caused by many episodes of diarrhea and vomiting or not eating well. or too much exercise.. Also, how's you health prior to this ?
Avatar m tn That's just some people's opinion. What works for them may or may not work for you, but there is no objective reason to avoid it. When you're sick you should try to keep yourself hydrated first and then keep your nutrition going as best as you can second. If that means yogurt, great. If that means something else, so be it. If you're nauseated and feel like vomiting, don't eat until you feel better. Just use your good judgment.
Avatar m tn We have taken meds and puffers nothing is working. I have been coughing then leads to vomiting either flem or froth, and gasping for a minute or so out load to replace hair in my lungs. It is the most horrible thing... I get headaches and feel very tired. But told that we are to just relax and takes time :( Well to take time it's been over a month that we have been so sick!!! I will keep you posted on our condition!
Avatar f tn I am undergoing tests for periodic vomiting, low body temperature, fatigue and muscle weakness and pain. Needless to say, I was 'diagnosed' with Fibromyalgia, because other tests are coming back negative. So many of my symptoms could connect to Cushings - unexplained weight gain, hump at top of spine, the fatigue and weakness, bruise easily, slow healing, etc. Does anyone know if this vomiting has been a symptom of Cushings?
Avatar n tn Monitor your temperature. I don't want to scare you but high fever is not good especially at this stage. You don't want the baby to go into distress and lose oxygen.
Avatar m tn my girlfriend has had anemia for a few years now. she has the usual side effects from it from time to time but the past couple days she hasn't been eating as much. shes vomiting, dizzy, has a swollen lip and she just doesn't feel too good. i took her temperature and it's normal. could these be symptoms of anemia she hasn't experienced before or could it be something else?
Avatar f tn s (Cortisol deficiency) can cause extreme fatigue and vomiting. It is pretty serious. Also the thyroid regulates temperature and so does the Hypothalamus. Sometimes tho it is not clear cut as the disorder lies in a gland that is supposed to be telling another gland what to do. But just testing the hormones and see if they are low is a good start and it points to hormones. Then the journey as to why can begin.
Avatar n tn Nausea but no vomiting, feels like I have a fever but no temperature (sick like feel as far as headaches and run down as if I’m coming down with something---this is constant and it starts about ½ hour after I wake up), tissue/muscle loss, head feels very tight , some heart palps. hoarseness in voice (comes and goes), muscle spasms (mostly in the left arm bicep and elbow, left leg in the back of the knee and left side in the back). I had every test done, from H.
Avatar f tn My grandson for the last 6 months has had episodes of vomiting with side and back pain. He wakes up with a stomach ache, starts vomiting later in the day, vomits until bedtime, cannot keep anything down, goes to bed, wakes up feeling great. This happens every 7-9 days. They ruled out Celiac, gluten alergy, stomach migraines. Had an endoscopy, nothing showed up.
Avatar f tn 2 weeks ago on Tuesday night he began to vomit, initially we had thought the vomiting was due to overeating as he had eaten more than usual and the vomit was undigested wet food. After that up until Saturday he began to slowly lose mobility and became more and more lethargic. On Saturday we took him to the vet because he was unable to jump (he can usually jump very high and is excellent at agility), he struggled to walk and squealed when picked up.

Avatar f tn Do you think this will pass or should I speak to the pediatrician?
Avatar n tn My 9 year old doxie's diarrea got gradually worse from loose BM to pure liquid. Foul odor accompanies it, too. He is still playful and no shivering. I can't tell if he has a fever. He vomitted once. Can I wait until Monday to take him to his regular vet? Thank you.
