Vomiting mucus fever

Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting mucus fever

vomiting

Did you heave a lot before vomiting? It could have been a little blood mixed in or even something you ate. If it burned coming up could have been stomach acid. Sometimes if blood and acid mix it can turn black. I would maybe bring it up to your doc at your next appointment. It could also just be one of those one time things that have no explanation. I wouldn't worry to much.
Mucus can be associated with the gallbladder & the liver. Hope she feels better soon.
Then I started to feel better but seem to be plagued with this odd coughing out of no where, that always leads to being out of breath and then the mucus comes up and vomiting starts. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
When i lay down to sleep i start to cough uncontrollably then i vomit a clear mucus like substance then after i catch my breath i can fall back to sleep this has been happening for like a week what's wrong with me? I don't have a fever and i also don't recall being sick.
At times the vomit accompanies the coughing, and just yesterday she threw up the most she's done up to this point, looking like stomach acid and mucus, no food involved, without coughing. She had a fever for one or two days a couple weeks ago (weeks after the coughing began). It's a little worrisome actually, so any help would be appreciated. She has never had this problem before, no allergies that we know of, all vaccinations are up to date.
If I throw up on the way to the throne and cover my mouth it starts to come out my sinuses. That's always unpleasant but not nearly as bad as I have heard vomiting due to obstruction is. I do get the burning in the back of my throat and the swelling. To the point that I felt like I couldn't breathe and went to the ER. That was a while ago and had to do with GERD, though.
hi, came off the pill in october and now i just had my period about 1 week ago, but since i had my period i have been having pinky red blood spots and mucus everytime i wipe after a pee, anyone that can help it would be great
Two weeks ago, my tongue began to swell and the sickness gradually progressed over 10 days; I had a constant fever of around 101.8, blisters on my tongue, serious joint pain and painful swallowing and nausea but not much vomiting. All during this time I had blood in my stools. I know that blood in stools should be normal after a hemorrhoidectomy, but originally the bleeding had stopped after about 2-3 weeks after surgery, but now its back.
I have had a cough for 6 weeks now and it is followed with mucus. When I first get up in the morning and I take a drink of water normally because I feel dehydrated I feel the mucus start forming. I then start coughing and trying to spit up the mucus. It is really been horrible. I eat and then 30 minutes later I am thowing up my food. I have been treated with antibiotics and cough medicine but the cough and the mucus still persist. I am so tired of urinating all over myself when I cough.
On Monday the 21st we took him to the hosptial where the doctor did an exam on him even examening his belly while he was vomiting and seeing the vomit contents. The doctor did a CT scan as well as blood work and all came back normal with no abnormalities in sight ( huge relief) Blood work as well was normal but still not an answer to why he is vomiting on and off for two weeks now. Unfortunately we left with good news but no news on what is causing him to feel sick.
For the past year I have had non stop low grade fevers (normally between 99.2-100.0, but it is not uncommon for it to hit 101.0) I have had problems sleeping, pain in my arms and legs, my muscles are easily exhausted (I was in great athletic shape, even won a few national medals) CONDITIONS: 21 y.o. Female, no kids, no drugs or alcohol, do smoke (1pk/every 3 days) Endometriosis (w/ bowel & Bladder involvement) Fibromyalgia (supposedly.
Dry heaving everything and alot of gas comes up, mucus. My Dr told my husband to give me antinausea every 10 min until vomiting stopped, then start water. I had a hard time keeping it down at first, but eventually did. I spent the next 2 days in bed, sweating and chilled, no appetite, totally worn out. Really sick feeling - didnt feel like talking, reading, just laying there. I had been constipated, and I have IBS they say. Along with fibromyalgia, OA, chronic fatigue, GERD.
My daughter is two years old and this past Sunday she woke up vomiting. At the time we thought that most likely she had gotten into some bad food because her Father had picked her up a chicken tenders kids meal late that night when the place was about to close. Well she fell back to sleep that morning and when she woke back up she was fine. She was playing and running and laughing all day. She even rode a carousel! Well that night (Sunday)while she was sleeping she threw up again.

White can be decreased function of pancreas and liver, any other symptoms she should look at? Ok, no fever, is cranky (usually very calm easy going baby). They did have a stomach bug go through the house last weekend, but it only lasted 24 hourss? She is getting teeth, first ones. Is it possible that all of this could be from that? She is drooling quite a bit?? Hmmmm.....just wondering if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks, in advance.
I'm not sure exactly what mucus in stool means, but I do know that everytime my son has diarea they ask me if there is any mucus or blood (when I call our nursing hotline). That combined with the vomiting would probably have me take him into urgent care if the Dr. doesn't get back to you today. I always tend to err on the side of caution. Hope she feels better soon.
I never had morning sickness with the first and with this one, still not too morning sickness but for the third time now I have had vomiting and diarrhea at the same time happening. I thought it had to do with what I was eating, because the first 2 times it happened after having fast food (which I rarely do anyways), but this last time it happened shortly after eating eggs, toast and fruit.
Was wondering if anyone got a sudden high fever and shaking an chills while coming off of treatment? Last night he woke up at 12 am and was running 102.5 an freezing. Went to dr today got tested for flu but it was negative the dr really doesn't know what's wrong with him just prescribed an antibiotic. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated!
Hi, an important aspect about pertussis or whooping cough is vaccination. The best way to prevent pertussis is to get vaccinated. There are vaccines for infants, children, preteens, teens and adults. Researchers agree that refusal to vaccinate children against whooping cough might have played a role in the 2010 pertussis outbreak in California. The whooping cough vaccination is now recommended for all pregnant women between 28 and 38 weeks pregnant. Regards.
I keep pulling out the mucus, but there is always more there! The mucus is often clear, sometimes white/cloudy in spots and quite sticky. It is usually thinner than the nasal mucus, but it is even more irritating... It very often feels as though I cannot breathe and that I am choking! This has caused me a tremendous amount of anxiety. Can someone reassure me that it is impossible to choke or not breathe due to mucus in one's throat?
My twelve year old son has been vomiting for the last nine days. He has no fever but has pain in his right abdominal area. The area is very tender to touch. The pediatrician saw him yesterday and checked his blood and urine. She says that both look fine. What else could possibly be wrong that we are missing? When he vomits, it isn't always food that is coming up. Sometimes it is just clear and watery and foamy, but it's not like mucus from his sinuses.
3 days later, the pain has moved to my back also and I had fever for two days with continuous vomiting every time i drink or eat something I kept vomiting. I also was sweating a lot; especially on the area where I have the pain. For some reason, I had the feeling that the stone has blocked the flow of urine, so I prepared myself for a surgery and went to the ER. And Yes!
Some ppl dont feel anything until contractions or waterbreaking others feel sick, dihareah, vomiting, fever, back pain most loose thier mucus plug
I started noticing mucus the past 2 days. I do not have a fever, no stomach cramps, and no vomiting. I won't even know I have to go just pressure then I have to run to the bathroom. Does anyone know what this could be? I am not eating or drinking anything different and haven't traveled anywhere.
