I've been tested for gerd my les is completely fine. The vomiting has nothing to do with gerd, yet every doctor keeps insisting even though no med works and I didn't qualify for the surgery. Trust me it never was gerd. After the tests for gerd my doctors were convinced I had IBS than psychological problem (took a year to prove otherwise) than gastroparesis than back to gerd and I was told to take meds that don't work again.
So I have Cholestasis and I'm on two different medications for it, one for the itching and one for the vomiting. Except the one for the itching makes me vomit! So now I'm in a vicious circle of medicines that don't help and I can't sleep. I'm really hoping my dr decides to induce me this Friday instead of make me wait!
I'm 11 week's and today I've been vomiting 4 timse, I've been nauseous all the time but never so bad. It's something wrong with me???
I was taking them because I was constantly vomiting and they worked REALLLY GOOD, but my doctor told me to stop taking them because a lot of lawsuits have been happening towards that medicine.
Thanks.. I have nausea pills but I'm scared to take them because all of the commercials I see about zofran.
It seems like everytime I get a script for the roxicet I end up getting very sick to my stomach and vomiting. I am taking the medication as prescribed. I know the two medicines are basically the samething so my question is, why is one medication making me sick to my stomach while the other one does not?
When this first happened she was on dry food and the vomiting was so bad that she was losing a large amount of weight (starving to death). Took her in to the vet couldn't find anything wrong with her so they gave her some meds to take before she ate. I took the food and soaked in water to soften it up seemed to help for awhile. They told me that she was probable allergic to the food so I changed that over the past 7 to 8 months I have tried every dry food there is. Did not work.
I used to vommit 3-4 times a day all day when I was 9weeks all the way till 13 weeks my doctor prescribed me Unison pills and Vitamin B6 to take every night he said its the safest medicines to take while pregnant. Helped so much now I'm never nauseas! I'm 20 weeks now and feel great! Before I got my medicine ginger ale and plain crackers helped me a little with the nausea.
It is not that uncommon for dogs to vomit yellow bile, which is usually a sign of an upset or empty stomach. Dogs will often graze on grass then throw up to help relieve an upset stomach. This can often be remedied by feeding smaller meals more frequently but not more food.
Have you changed foods recently?
This could be something more serious, of course. Any chance your dog may have ingested something in the house or outside?
With my first I had morning sickness until I was 14 weeks. If it's excessive vomiting, you can get medicine from your doctor.
So I.ve started vomiting I'm currently 6wks (: how can I keep my food down. I threw up 3 times today.& I feel so dizzy& dehydrated.
Ondanestron, which is the generic for Zofran, is a great medicine for dogs that are vomiting. You can purchase it from a human pharmacy (with an RX from your vet) and it is also generally cheaper than Cerenia. It clears the system in 8 - 10 hours and my dogs are generally over the vomiting and ready to eat at that point. Give it a try - talk to your vet.
My doc thinks my vomiting and indigestion could be helped with over the counter indigestion meds. Is anyone else taking anything? Have they worked? How have they reacted with your anxiety meds?

Hi martin , my wife is in 10th week of pregnency, she is having vomiting two to five times a day . She dosent like the taste of any fruit, juice , chicken etc. war ever she eats she pukes. She has gt no stamina in her. Wen vl she b alrite. Wat is the remedy for this plz advice .
MY dog took a popular medicine for arthritis last week for the first time. On the 3rd day he began vomiting blood(dark brown with small blood clots) It was the weelend so I called a vet out of town I knew and he said yes this was a side effect. I fed him pedialite through a syringe and pepto bismol. Saturday he threw up 20 times. Sunday only 3 times. By Monday he was still weak but not vomiting and was able to keep down small amounts of rice and ground chicken.
You should talk to your doctor, and if you cannot stand it you should go to the ER maybe they'll give you some nausea medicine , that's what I had to do because I couldn't keep anything down not even a drink of water. Or you can try ginger teas or these ginger can'dy,! Good luck!
Yes, the Phenergan is for nausea/vomiting. Sometimes physicians will order it in combination with a histamine. Were you having nausea/vomiting? The BP Poly should take care of the rest of the rash. The lidocaine is ok. I would dump the Ibuprofen, Benadryl and use the Phenergan if you are having problems with nausea/vomiting, if not, don't. He authorized all that medication and he doesn't know what is going on with you yet? Wow.
t throw up but nothing worked ask your doctor to can they give you a medicine called zofran it helps with the nausea I am still taking it every morning and I am 36 weeks it helps
But, the fact that a doctor is unable to help means it could be something else or not. Has your doctor tried nuclear medicine. They can use radioactivity to spot abnormalities in the digestive tract. But, your doc should know best.
She was given antifungal meds for 21 days. (Again she had no pain.) She had intermittent vomiting. Now she has finished the medicine and the vomiting is back in full force. She is back down to 107 pounds from 111.
We are waiting to see the GI again.
Questions: Since she had thrush before the NG, why did that stop the vomiting? Could it be something spasming that the tube stopped? If she did have SMA and thrush, why didn't she have pain? Could this all be related to her concussion?
t take any medicine for my puking I would puke four to give times a day in my first trimester but Now I don't anymore I'm in my second trimester I wish I would of known about that lol it sure would of helped me
Is he getting an over the counter medicine, like a nasal spray, a decongestant, a cough medicine, or baby aspirin? Is he taking a vitamin? This does sound like a reaction /inflammation to something...Does he by chance rise in the night and get something to eat or drink? Get into pet food? I know some of these things sound a bit funny, but I have seen it happen...
Another consideration, he may be swallowing a lot of phlegm at night...and the rash was from being too warm and sweating...
I'm 12weeks and today the vomiting has been awful all I have been throwing up the medicine my doctor gave me at first seem too work but today I don't know what's going on.Should I be worried because it seems im not gaining any weight with all this morning sickness/all day sickness...this will be my first child so I'm new too this and dont really know what's okay and what's not okay and my next appointment isn't until November 3....any advice???
If he has a parasite or needs antibotics, I do realize that I need to take him in for medicine. But if its something simple like a blockage or something similar, what can I give him to fix it? Pepto? laxative? Switch to soft food for alittle while?
Please help, my wife really loves this dog and I don't want to go broke trying to fix him.
