My jack russell terrier was in acute kidney failure last month and is now in chronic. Her blood work, off the charts in some areas, has normalised but her urine showed high protein and she has high blood pressure; she is taking enalapril for both of these. She is on Hills KD and has shown improvement in weight gain, appetite, zest for life, her coat looks fantastic. But I can't seem to control her vomiting for more than a few days.

I do not have an baby angel.... but I think that short hand bothers some and not others. Rest in Peace is not a bad thing to say.... but somehow the short hand of it seems blunt, I guess. My brother was VERY close to my father, and my dad died while my brother was in jail (long story to anyother time)... he took my dad's death hard, but had a tattoo made on his arm that has my dad's name, birth and death dates, and the short hand "RIP" on it...

I have several dark spots since my Addison's Dx.. One is kind'a cute, looks like a dark Jack-o-lantern, complete with milky white eyes, nose & lips features, I was told the dark spots are due to elevated ACTH, primary Addison's, and the milky white features relate to adrenal autoimmune activity. I am on Prednisolone for my Addison's. I also ahd to split it among 3 doses! I was getting serious cog lapses in mid afternoons.

I have a 8 year old Jack Russell male who are very sick. The vet drained a lot of fluied from his abdomen and took xrays and blood tests. First they said it was the liver and then they said it was the heart that was enlarged and now they dont know what is wrong with him. It cost me R1300 and they want to do more tests. I dont have more money but will make a plan if they can help my dog. I am angry at them for making the wrong diagnoses and I have to pay each time.

Today, I had pancakes before going to work, I work at a Jack in the box so the smell probably also had to do with it but I threw up the pancakes. So far my last two meals I've thrown up, if I throw up my next meal should I contact my ob?

He was having a good rummage around my parents garden and may have eaten some soil containing pellets from last years planting. He is a 10 month old jack russell/border terrier cross. He has been off his food and vomiting for 2 days now. They have given him an injection to stop him being sick which is working (although he did bring back up something they gave him to line his stomach this morning),and fluids to prevent dehydration. He is shaking constantly and has no appetite at all.
