Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting headache morning

vomiting

I'm suspcious because my impression is that migraine induced vomiting/nausea should coincide with the headache, not occur afterwards. My impression is that migraine variants (e.g. cyclic vomiting syndrome) tend to be quite rare. No visual disturbances recently, but 4 years ago she had 2 incidents of sudden transient bilateral visual loss lasting 1-5 seconds (typical of papilledema induced sudden visual loss), however, eye exam turned up completely normal (done by ophthalmologist).

what would cause a headache every morning? mostly in my forehead, sometimes feels "migrainie" but not usually.
Have you had any other signs of sickness -- fever, headache, drippy nose, cough? Have you taken a pregnancy test? If you're dealing with morning sickness (which comes and goes all day), treat this like you would the flu. Go for mild, high-nutrient foods that aren't likely to upset your stomach -- cheese, yogurt, breads, bananas, rice, chicken soup, etc. Salty potato chips, plain toast or tortillas, or crackers can help, as can going at least a half hour between eating and drinking.
Hey ladies im 12 weeks and Ive been having a headache since yesterday it started around 7pm , since I had a headache last night I went to bed around 9pm and woke up this morning at 5 am with the same headache, went to the bathroom came back into my room and got really bad nausea and started vomiting next to my bed ( I haven't got morning sickness throughout my pregnancy). Now is 2pm I still have the same headache and just noticed my nose was bleeding also and I am really nauseous right now.
while i was in fact vomiting, i got a sudden and severe headache in the back of my head, enough to back me seriously sit back. my first thought was of course "oh know, i've popped something" i don't want to be over reacting over something brought on only by the vomiting, but then again i can't be too sure. there seems to be a small pressure still in my head where the headache started. if anyone haves any ideas, i would greatly appriciate it. thank you.
Thanks ill try that :)
Yesterday, while working on my computer, I suddenly couldn't tolerate the light from the monitor (eyes very painful) .. sudden attack of headache and felt like vomiting. My body became weak and just had to go lie down. Fell into a long deep sleep and felt better when awoke. This morning at about 3am I felt the headache again and felt like throwing up. Pls advice.
A generalized throbbing headache worst felt in the morning and last thing at night. This headache is generally relieved on standing (consistent with raised intracranial pressure). It is aggravated by straining, coughing, sneezing or a change in position. You need a prompt evaluation by a neurologist. Hypothyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, and adrenal insufficiency are a few things I would recommend you get investigated for. These can precipitate BIH.
If I was walking, I felt ok, but if I sat down or lied down, it hurt worse. Iam not able to sleep . Once morning came, the headache was gone. This went on for about five days. I went to see my ob and she said it was most likely a migraine.my doctore advised cinerest tablets when i used that i feel better after some time again it will repeat, I could not eat, sit down, lie down, talk, or take care of my children. I finally took a hot shower My doctor thought maybe I had a sinus infection.
What i found was that tumors usually will cause headaches that are at there worst in the morning usually accompiened by vomiting and pain in the same spot. You probably are worrying too much about this, which by the way can make the headaches worse. But i can tell you if you are stressed about this go and get the test done to put your mind at ease, I just got my results today from my brain mri and everything was fine. I know i feel a lot better about this now that i know.

I stupidly took the drug speed a week later, and suffered an horrendous headache. I was also vomiting, it was so bad my brother called an ambulance. The hospital treat the headache with morphine and i suffered a fit for three minutes. They performed a CT scan on my brain and kept me in overnight in the observation ward. The following morning i was discharged with very little advice given to me. Nothing was explained to me regarding the scan,or anything else for that matter.
I have not had any more headaches until last night, when I experienced a similar headache. This time, I did not have any vision problems, but I did experience vomiting after about 5 hours. I only vomited once and then was able to fall asleep and slept through the night. Upon awakening this morning, I found that my headache was gone with only a slight lingering feeling of pain.
