Topamax is usually prescribed to break the cycle of chronic headache. Hope this helps!

Only after throwing up everything I'd ever eaten in my entire life would it go away eventually. Doctors never knew what was wrong and there's still nothing much online about the cause of this illness. After logging what I ate for quite a while, we figured out that the common denominator was RED DYE #40!
I have had a headache for months and it is 24/7. I never had headaches before this. My doctor ordered a bunch of blood work and did an MRI. Everything was fine. Is there something that could cause this debilitating headache that wouldn't show on an MRI? I don't smoke, drink or anything like that. Pain meds do not help. What could this be from? My doctor is stumped....

I'm planning on sending him to a headache center next. I don't think it's a cluster headache because he lays down and sleeps for hours not getting up and moving around. All nutritionists say that if you have a food allergy, you have to stay off the food for at least 6 months to allow your intestines to heal, and then reintroduce the food in small amounts to see if your body can handle it. What I discovered was that my body reacted to wheat, rice and oats, so I stay off of all grains. My body did not react to dairy. Hi all, Got the nasty headache, had a blood patch done on Friday. Worst thing I have EVER been through, that blood patch. It was worse than the tap. Anyway, it did not work. (I am flat on my back as I type this thanks to my trusty laptop and a bunch of pillows.) What now? Do I just wait it out? It's getting pretty old. I even asked for vicodin, which I never take but the pain is unbearable. I'm so bummed.
I'm a 27 year old, male who has been having these minor strokes/complex migraines since I was 16. My first one was only a headache with body numbness. At the time I was in a friend's basement and a strobe light was on. I believe that was the initial cause. Through the years they have sped up their occurrences. It went from once every few months to once a month. They also changed from partial numbness to a traveling numbness on my right side.

I was working on my computer, at my desk, in the apartment I've been living in for two months, and then backs of my legs itched, so I lightly scratched them, not thinking anything of it.
