has anyone suffered from green or brown vomiting. I had ovarian cancer which recurred and i was receiving chemo and then developed a partial small intestine blockage. went to hospital , no food then sent home brought back to hospital for surgery. After surgery developed a fistula which is being treated. Now at home, started to vomit green or brown bile. doctor took exray and it showed no obsttrution; only fluid in intestine. .explained may have a slow working bowel.
His stool went from watery to stringy and bright green, now it is bright green mixed with dark brown (looks like coffee grounds) and is still stringy. He vomited 3 times today and wont eat, and barely drinks. I am running out of things to think of. I don't know what else to do. It is 5:42pm here and I have changed him 6 times today already. Please tell me what you think, and what should I do.
He is vomiting up yellowish/green sputum only - never any food. He has also suffered from diarreah as well. Chest and abdomen xrays have been done, stool and blood collected - everything so far has come back normal. We are in awe of the fact that we've now seen 5 different pediatric docs and gastroenterologists and none of them have been able to diagnose him! Every day since August 20th has truly been a nightmare for him!

you might advise her to get her gallbladder checked out. Vomiting bile (can be yellow colored or green) is sometimes not a cause for concern, as if her stomach was empty when she threw up....this would be the reason for bile to come up. Like I said, if all is fine now...no more issues, Id say she is ok....but if it starts happeneing on a normal occasion, might check it out to be safe.
Hello the green in the stools is most likely from bile or something you have eaten or drank-like green kool-aid or green jello etc. The burning is because your electrolytes are off in your body and with diarrhea you get what is called Metabolic Acidosis. The acid is what causes the burning. It sounds like you have gotten a virus of some sort and it should subside in 24-48 hours. Your stool should return to normal consistency and color after that time too.
Green vomit could mean she is vomiting bile. Bile is a green substance that is excreted by the liver into the gall bladder then into our intestines to help with digestion. She could have had a gall bladder attack. Is the back pain located by her right shoulder or in-between her shoulder blades? That is a sign of a gall bladder or liver problem. Gall bladder attacks tend to wake people in the middle of the night. She could have passed a gall stone.
I was so focused on the green substance that I missed the part about frequent vomiting for years. I had frequent vomiting for 3 years. Had surgery to repair hiatal hernia and a fundoplication but was still having dry heaves. Was finally treated for small bowel bacterial overgrowth-2rounds of expensive antibiotics but finally felt much better. I still have occasional nausea but never like before. Hope you get some help soon.

Since its two weeks post surgery, it's unlikely that vomiting is related to anesthesia. The green colored vomit could be due to stasis of bile. It could be due to gallbladder disease or pancreatitis. Other possible causes of include bowel obstruction, inflammation of the stomach and small intestines from an unrelated source as well as an unrelated intestinal infection.

I bring up clear gastric juices and finally a large amount (over a pint!) of green bileous liquid - after which I start to recover. I have no bowel movements until the next day, when I get diarrhoea. My stomach is painful for several days because of the heaving and it takes a week to fully recover. At first I thought it was food poisoning but last time it happened I ate only my own food -except for one danish pastry eaten 2 days earlier. Please help!
Well then at 10 am he still wasn’t and he began vomiting so we tested him after cleaning him up and his sugar was at 61. The night before he had steak, green beans, 2 pieces of bread (about 15g carbs total), 1 apple sauce cup, and 1/2 cup Mac n cheese. He ate all of it except for some steak, a little bit of apple sauce, and a few green beans. To correct his low blood sugar we gave him 1 serving of gummy bears (15 g carbs) and waited 15 min then gave 1 more serving of gummy bears.

Slowly introduce new foods, and if he does not want it, do not make a fuss over it. Let it go and enjoy your meal. Try again in a few months. So relax and enjoy your mealtimes and let him enjoy his meals, too. Joyous meals are a better choice than a battleground when a child does not want to eat certain foods.
for a while now i have been everything from green floater, to spots, flashes, rainbow halos around street lights. I've seen an optometrist twice, he says nothings wrong but im really worried it something serious and what should i do? some headaches and no nausia or vomiting.

Five days ago she started to have sever pain in her head and stomach. went to ER did cat scan nothing was found she continues to have pain went back to dentist nothing found he told her it could be some thing that needs an ENT, She is in sever pain still she was given lora tab which only makes her very dopey,and she still has pain,Please help.

Before that happens vomiting of bile juice (green-yellow coloured vomit) is a symptom. It happened to me after a total colectomy operation over five years ago and I was kept in hospital (with a nasal gastric tube to suck out the stomach contents) until the symptoms had passed and until I could hold down food normally.
