The very worst thing you can feed a cat is dry food....get her some canned food even if it's the cheap brands...still much better than dry especially when there's a constipation problem

My 17 year old cousin suddenly took ill back in 2013 when she was 15. She just woke up ill and her mom rushed her to the er. When she got there the doctor diagnosed her with a severe case of pneumonia. She was in a medical induced coma for three weeks. On and off she was taking back to the er and specialists appts. 30a, no vomiting, no diarrhea, no symptoms, nothing unusual in the yard. He had a bad habit of eating sticks, wood (he always chewed on our deck), but he had no symptoms of being ill AT ALL. I came home 5:45p, & according to the vet he'd been gone since @ 3 or 4p. His necropsy showed twigs, rocks & plastic (what you put under rock landscaping). His digestive tract up to his belly was normal. From there to his colon it was red, inflamed, lesions, then from colon on it was normal.
This is soon followed with stomach nauseousness, then diarrhea and then vomiting. The vomiting is usually of the projectile type - very violent and ending in dry heaves. However, when I'm threw with the purge, I feel 100% better as I'm usually have that awful nauseous feel or that gas and bloated feeling. The diarrhea may continue for a another few hours, but I'm usually over the burping and vomiting during the first 24 hours and the diarrhea within 32 hours.

seems to be dying a slow death. I dont have the money to take him to another vet. Can someone PLEASE tell me what to do. Is there anything I can do at home.
I drank alot last night and just about 10 mins ago I realized that im passing blood through my feces if that is even spelled right. I'm trying to quit the drinking but had a bad time last night. Is the blood something serious ? What can the doc do to help me get threw the withdrawals without having to take time off of work ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It felt like a ball of fecal matter was painfully building in my upper left abdomen, feces became thin and stringy. I tried Milk of Mag and Mag Citrate (prescribed) to no avail (seemed to elevate symptoms). I finally tried water enemas till the painful mass moved and I had a bowel movement. By that time my feces turned from brown to a light yellow/ pale color and thin. That month I lost 20 lbs and have continued to lose an extra 10 lbs from then till now- July 2008.
