My pitbull puppy is about 5mos old and weighs about 50lbs and two times he has vomited up his own feces and I don't understand why Can someone please explain this to me as he gets fed 3 times a day and eats all his dog food and has had all his shots and does poop his regular stool so I became alarmed when he did this unusual thing!!!!!!!
Yes it doesn't sound like pancreatic cancer. I was thinking malabsorption syndrome. But since the fecal fat test was negative it may not be that. It does sound like that though. Have you had your amylase and lipase done too? These are pancreatic enzymes? It might be that one of your digestive enzymes is off instead.

In many cases, as he is urinating or defecating, he loses balance or is fatigued and plops into his urine or feces. Initially, he lost all mobility in his rear legs and I had to carry him to urinate. He did not defecate for about 3 days. Currently, his feces is runny, which I believe is due to his change in diet from dog food, which he refuses to eat, to baked chicken or an egg based recipe of a medley of things to include potatoes.
At first I thought about problems of gall secretion or pancreatic secretion, but since you have those foul smelling feces, I am more inclined to think it could be a fructose intolerance. Have you noticed any foods, which could disprove or prove my theory correct? Get well soon!
Hello~It certainly doesn't seem like you have cancer at all, my dear husband had colon cancer and his symptoms were entirely different from yours.
One thing, for your own peace of mind, I would demand a colonoscopy, it is your body, you are paying for it, so you deserve it for your own peace. That way, when it comes back normal, and I know it will, you won't be so worried.
Hello~Any time you see blood in the stool, it should be checked, it could be nothing, but then again, it could be polyps that can develop into cancer. I only saw blood on the TP when I cleaned after having a BM, but then I took an FIT (stool test you can do at home and then mail in) and it showed occult blood. I was pretty shook up when the nurse called me and told me.
This is soon followed with stomach nauseousness, then diarrhea and then vomiting. The vomiting is usually of the projectile type - very violent and ending in dry heaves. However, when I'm threw with the purge, I feel 100% better as I'm usually have that awful nauseous feel or that gas and bloated feeling. The diarrhea may continue for a another few hours, but I'm usually over the burping and vomiting during the first 24 hours and the diarrhea within 32 hours.
if she is vomiting up feces it means she could well have a blockage in her bowel an if so this is an emergency, are you sure she hasn't gone elsewhere?? The very worst thing you can feed a cat is dry food....get her some canned food even if it's the cheap brands...still much better than dry especially when there's a constipation problem
It's very important tht you scoop out a litter box no less than once a day....the bacteria builds up an can lead to urinary tract infections...
hi, yes i know i need to see a doctor but ive recently lost my job and therefor insurance and have no money - so i can only go to er if absoulte necc. ( i already have a lot of medical bills racked up) but anyways ive been having slight abdominal pain. very slight, not extremely painful just more annoying. Then i went to the bathroom just now and i noticed that I had bright red blood on my toilet paper. not a ton just enough for me to notice.
Lately it has been getting more frequent and this last incident she experienced terrible cramping and foul vomiting. When she was 4 years old she had intestinal surgery in Europe, where they thought that her intestines were in a knot, but they were not. She had her appendix removed during this procedure and a small portion of her intestines. Other than this she has had no other problems concerning her bowels. She tries to hide it, but the smell is terrible!
For the last three weeks, off and on, I have been having burps that smell like feces. I read on Webmd.com and a few other sources that this only usually happens if a person has been vomiting. My mother always have minor GI problems since young, including minor cramps and constipation.

I had ovarian cancer which recurred and i was receiving chemo and then developed a partial small intestine blockage. went to hospital , no food then sent home brought back to hospital for surgery. After surgery developed a fistula which is being treated. Now at home, started to vomit green or brown bile. doctor took exray and it showed no obsttrution; only fluid in intestine. .explained may have a slow working bowel.

I (male, 80) have achlorhydria (no stomach acid) which made me naseous and caused vomiting after meals. I was checked out by upper GI and stomach empty-ing test and ultrasound.Everything works allright except acid secretion.
My problem is lack of appetite, hunger and taste.
I am taking acid tablets (betainhydrochloride) and Pancreatin with every meal which corrects all previous problems such as nausea and vomiting after eating.

I drank alot last night and just about 10 mins ago I realized that im passing blood through my feces if that is even spelled right. I'm trying to quit the drinking but had a bad time last night. Is the blood something serious ? What can the doc do to help me get threw the withdrawals without having to take time off of work ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
