5 weeks ago my dog had a gastral infection that was treated with antibiotics and anti nausea medication. She had recoverd and had a relaps of the same symthoms. Is Pine Nut Oil or Manuka Honey an alternative remedy for stomach ulsers? Is the advertisement for these product true? If you are taking synthetic antibiotics do they sterilize and kill all bacteria? do you need to introduce good bacteria like Acidophilus into the stomach?
Oh the poor little guy! With an infestation that bad, your best bet is to have your vet worm him and do rechecks until you're certain the problem is gone.
I rescued a tiny puppy years ago who had the worst case of mange and starvation I've ever seen. Our vet wormed him twice and we thought that was the end of the worms. Wrong. As we battled the mange with dips and it kept coming back, my vet suggested a heart worm treatment when he was about 4 months old.

Was there a squeaker in the toy? If so, did you make sure the dog didn't possibky swallow it?
You can try giving her small pieces of bread soaked in milk or water, spread it out. If she gets worse with vomiting, diarrhea or signs get her to the Vet.
My 4y old Shep Mix threw up once 2 days ago. Then Yesterday poped out a paper towel. Today she was jumping around but has not eatten in 2 day. We think she got into m husband`s homemade cheese. As today she is trying to have a bowel movement but cant. She is not a very "bouncy" dog to say she sleep alot normally but always next to me with her head on my leg or foot. But she hasnt in two days. She also Shakes alot in the past 2 days.
I dose with less than that--I use only 1 tablet (25mg) at night with our dog. He takes it at night, and no vomiting at night any more. I can usually catch him before he pukes in the daytime, so I don't give it in the daytime.
Hopefully, someone else can give you (and me) more ideas. But wanted you to know about the Benadryl, particularly. You can buy that over the counter. We also tried Pepcid and Reglan, without any luck.
Missy dog vomits when she eats or drinks. She can only keep down white rice and small amounts of water at a time. Her stool is normal and stomach isn't hard. I am concerned at she can't continue to just eat rice. I tried boiling hamburer and putting a little in the rice but she vomited that too.

He acted normally--drank water, ate food, ran around playing and did everything he normally does except for the vomiting. He had had no change in foods, but he is the type of dog that eats nails, paper clips, tacks, necklaces, plastic, and anything he isn't supposed to that he can get his paws on. I am sorry about your dog. Vomiting can be caused by a great number or problems including: parasites, gastritis, toxins, infectious agents, foreign body ingestion, kidney or liver disease, cancers and more. Not eating for two weeks is very serious.
It would be great if your vet's were able to perform blood tests and X-Rays because once there is a diagnosis proper treatment can be instituted. If diagnostics cannot be performed than symptomatic treatment is the next best option.
Can I put both of these herbal remedies together in his food? What is a recommended Stomach Happy dosage for a 44lb dog with a very weak, sensitive stomach. He had a ruptured intestine shortened 3 years ago.
I was going to start him on a very low dosage for Si Miao San to get his system used to the remedy since when I gave him the recommended amount, he got diarrhea.

My parents dog is 13 years old. In December the dog had an episode of vomiting up bright red blood and then vomiting up a darker substance. Parents took dog to vet. Vet thought the dog ate some deer poo or something similar and gave the dog an anti-vomiting type medication. Dog was okay for about a week maybe. Then started throwing up blood again. They took him back to vet. Vet recommended having a light run down into his gastrointestinal tract to check for stomach tumors.
Vomiting will not help with suboxone since it's absorbed through the mucus membranes of the mouth. 1 mg is a HUGE dose for a 10 lb dog, and a dam big dose for an opiate-naive human. Call your regular vet clinic. There should be an outgoing message instructing you what to do in an emergency. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY so please do it now!
