Common Questions and Answers about Vomiting cat pink

vomiting

Avatar n tn They should be a healthy pink color, not a muddy brownish pink color. You also want to watch for him going through the motions of vomiting without producing any vomit. If you see him doing this, put him in the car and head for the nearest vet. If it's during the night, head for the emergency vet. This action could mean that he is bloating, and that because of the large amount of food in it, his stomach has flipped over on itself and has choked off the entrance and exit to the stomach.
Avatar f tn I have one cat that vomits everyday. When this first happened she was on dry food and the vomiting was so bad that she was losing a large amount of weight (starving to death). Took her in to the vet couldn't find anything wrong with her so they gave her some meds to take before she ate. I took the food and soaked in water to soften it up seemed to help for awhile.
Avatar f tn My cat was coughing and breathing heavy. I took her to the Vet and after they took X-Ray I was told she has to be under medication for two weeks. I started her on Clavamox 15 ML but after couple of days I noticed she vomits after each intake. I was told by the Vet to give her Metochlopramide 5 MG first and wait 20 minutes before giving her Clavamox. She is not eating food and I am giving her Garbor baby food (chicken and rice) along with Clavamox. I noticed she still vomits after each intake.
Avatar m tn my male cat was neutered 4 days ago, every time he eats he vomits ,even water.
Avatar f tn How can I stop my cat from vomiting? She is taking Clavamox drops and was vomiting after each use. I spoke to her Vet and was told that I should give her Metochlopramide 5 MG first and wait for 20 minutes and then give her Clavamox. She is not eating and Vet suggested to give her baby food with the Clavomox. I am doing what I was told but my cat is still vomiting.
Avatar f tn Sounds to me like she may need at least an xray to see if there is a blockage in her intestines----This is very serious and urgent that you let the Vet do what he needs to do . Vomiting everything she eats was what caused my cat to have exploratory surgery to see if there was a blockage---thank God there wasn't but she was a very sick little girl..
592969 tn?1248325405 Oh my gosh!! My pickiest cat, Butters, refuses any salmon flavored food. He won't even eat fresh salmon. Best thoughts for your cat. I've had my other cat, Bob, have an episode of vomiting but it cleared right up w/in a few hours and we surmised he ate a bug or something like that.

Avatar f tn My sister's cat Daisy is about 8 years old and she just got her rabies vaccination on 5/24/12 which was a thursday and has been throwing up a few times a day for almost a week so she decided to take her back to the vet to get a blood test done and keep her there for 3 nights to get her supervised. While there he gave her a Penicillin and Cerenia injection, anesthesia (isoflurane)- he said she was aggresive, he did a Complete blood test and a blood profile major.

670929 tn?1226173181 About an hour ago I noticed my cat squatting in different places around the house (me shooing him before he actually urinated). His cat litter was being changed at the time so he only need to wait a few minutes. Well he finally pinned himself in a corner and by the time I got to him he was already urinating. That is when I noticed it wasn't yellow like it was meant to be. I grabbed a white napkin and dabbed the urine. The napkin turned pink.
Avatar m tn They have their Masters in psychology So this is how it works with a cat. You have to wait for the behavior to happen and then encourage it if you want the cat to continue or IGNORE it if you want the cat to stop that behavior. An example--Cat wants in the bedroom at night so he tries some things to get your Reaction.
Avatar f tn We adopted a cat from the Humane Society about a month and a half ago. He is approx. one year old. Since we brought him home we have been battling with diarriah and vomiting. The vet put him on antiobiotics and recommended chicken and rice for diet. The cat has an appetite and was eating for about 4 days without any vomiting, and finally had a solid stool. Then all of a sudden he vomited over the weekend again and then on Monday he vomited in 4 different spots of the house.
317787 tn?1473358451 Hi I took my cat to the vet two weeks ago. She was given a rabies and distemper. She was sore for a while and moved slowly. She seemed to begin to feel better and up until yesterday was moving around fast again. Yesterday she threw up, it was very liquid, I didn't think much about it, thought maybe she had a hairball. She did it again, when I blotted it I noticed it was pink on the white napkin, looked like kool aid. I mentioned to my husband in case she had gotten in to something.
Avatar n tn Then i had a normal bleeding at march 14-16 that stopped then i had brown discharges and light pink for 3 days with associated cramps then i had sex again on the 23rd of march.then yesterday i vomit twice and had a light headache.
Avatar f tn Just as an additional bit of info, Zylo is a predominately white cat with pink skin, so his skin around his eyes have always looked a bit pink. I didn't explain that very well in my first post, it isn't the eyes itself that are red, but the skin area immediately surrounding the eyes. It may be that his fur is thinning a bit so more of his skin in showing through in certain areas. I have been watching the lump closely ever since we noticed it several months ago.
Avatar n tn Out of curiosity why have you allowed this vomiting to go on for 6-9 months. If this were my cat, and my cat was vomiting after each meal, you better believe I would have visited my vet a long time ago. Purina at best is not a good quality food. She probably has lost weight but you just don't see it. I would suggest making an appointment and getting her to your vet as soon as possible. Vomiting after a meal for such a long time is not good.
Avatar f tn The vomiting and twitching might not be something serious. A cat will naturally twitch when they're in a deep sleep. My cat does it all the time and it's NOT a seizure. If you're seeing only the paws twitching and no other symptoms, then you have nothing to worry about. The vomiting, depending on how long it's been going on, may not be serious. Sometimes vomiting can be caused from a new diet change and other times it can be caused from hairballs.
1296191 tn?1280699873 s going on with your kitty, is the vomiting something new or has he always done it? Has he always been a thin cat in spite of eating enough?

1565420 tn?1304572548 My 17year old cat is vomiting up a lot of his food every few days..sometimes daily. I cannot tell if it's because of hairballs. Sometimes it includes hairballs, somtimes not. Does anyone know what might be wrong with him. He also sneezes a lot and has a runny nose. Worried.
Avatar f tn My 13 year old Japanese Bobtail cat has been disagnosed with Pemphegus and is being treated wtih Atopica and Triamciniolone. She's vomited several times, so we cut back on the Atopica and only used Triamciniolene. The vomiting returned, so she is only taking Atopica, after which she agaom vomited. I'm told San Ren Tang may cause the remission of Pemphegus. Please help...I adore this cat.
