My 4 year old son is vomiting, but only at night. One night vomit at midnight, next night dry heaves again 'round midnight, next night vomit again but much earlier about 1 hour after being put to bed. He eats normal quantities of food during the day but is self limiting to water and cracker types of food and refuses dinner. Also he bounces around the house all day as though everyting is fine. It started as I was having a bowel movement one morning and during which I became intensely nauseous. The following days it persisted but vomiting became more severe. After a bowel movement I noticed a strong pain in my stomach which brought on the vomiting. The pain would not stop until everything in my stomach was out, food or bile. I've posted about it before and I know why I'm throwing up blood, it's my stomach tearing from throwing up too much. I just don't know what to do about it. Is there a medicine other than zofran they'll give me? I don't need anti nausea, it doesn't work. When I throw up it's right away I don't have time to feel nauseous and take the zofran and if I do get to to take it I just throw it up anyways lol. Do any of you know what the Dr/er would do for me?
