my husband is 38 years old and he has been vomiting after every meal for 3 years without ever missing a day,yes 3 years.he has been to many dortors,they have done 3 scopes,a colonoscopy,a stomach emptying test,a pancrease and liver scan,blood work galore,an mri of the brain and everything is normal.they took out his galbladderr and he has been hospitalized on several ocassions and still no answers.
So I'll be 38 wks tomorrow. I luckily somehow made it up to this point in my pregnancy without morning sickness or anything. Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. I started to vomit around 3 pm and it was full of blood. I can taste blood in my mouth. The stomach ache hasn't subsided but hasn't gotten worse either. Is this ob related or more medical? Should I go to the hospital? Has anyone else experienced this?

They put two bags of saline in her along with an anti nasua medicine they give to cancer patients. I can't remember the name.

Her symptoms are chest pain, dizziness, occassional fainting spells, headache, abdominal pain, and of course constant vomiting. If you have been vomiting due to morning sickness you might have ruptured a vessel or started to develop a ulcer due to stress. But if it persists and geta worse through out the night OR you develop abdominal pain and you don't feel comfortable then go to the ER. Always better safe than sorry, especially when your pregnant (even tho I don't think vomiting blood has any direct relation to the baby) but regardless I'd make an app with your PCP if it persists.
Further to Calgal's very sound advice, the medical name for these black/tarry blood-impregnated stools is MELENA. You might want to look up possible symptoms, causes etc on google so that you are more fully informed when you see a doctor - hopefully a GI specialist. Do take prompt medical advice. I would expect you to undergo both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy for maximum (hopefully...??) reassurance etc.
An RN physically abused my mother in a nursing home. Then on the phone, she lied to me and to my sister about the necessity of surgery for my mother, and even told me that I could be arrested if I did not allow the surgery. So I agreed to the surgery. When I got to the hospital, the surgeon asked me not to make him do this surgery, because it was only for the nursing staff's convenience. I refused surgery for her, and she was sent back to the nursing home.
