my girlfriend has just passed the first trimester and has been vomiting some blood on 5 ocations what does this mean?

High blood pressure during pregnancy may lead to three different types of conditions. These are chronic hypertension, Gestational hypertension and chronic hypertension with superimposed preeclampsia. So I'll be 38 wks tomorrow. I luckily somehow made it up to this point in my pregnancy without morning sickness or anything. Today I woke up with a terrible stomach ache. Remember, this is temporary. The pregnancy causes nausea and vomiting on its own and you are at the point in which that would typically start in a pregnancy. When you take the pills to induce abortion/termination, it throws those hormones a bit more out of whack. This can include nausea and vomiting. I'm so sorry about that. I would just do your best as you've already started the process. Keep hydrated and take it easy.

Technically, bleeding during pregnancy is never considered normal and should always be reported to your OB. If it's just light/spotting, it can wait until your next appointment. If it is a bit heavier, or there are clots and cramping, give them a call. All that being said, lots of us have experienced bleeding during pregnancy, particularly in first trimester. Statistically it's about 30% of women. Most of the time everything is just fine. Still, best to let your Dr. know about it.

My wife having diarrhea and vomiting last night. She is having 16 weeks pregnancy. I had sent her to clinic and checked by dr. Is this normal ? I have not gain much weight during this pregnancy only about 12 pounds. With my first son I gained 30 pounds but this pregnancy is completely different, back pains, nasua and vomiting since my first month, lack of appetite etc.... is any one experiencing this too?

Dehydration can cause low blood pressure, and in general due to the increased blood volume, you can have low BP during pregnancy. Definitely drinking more fluids and resting with your feet elevated will help. Make sure to change position slowly to allow your body time to adjust.

Did you miss a period last cycle? Because brownish blood is a sign of pregnancy but also a sign that your period is starting. It took me 5 months to get pregnant n that happen to me with brownish blood and then I got my period 3 days later. Which was disappointing. Most likely it's your cervix. That general area swells up with a lot of blood during pregnancy and it's not unusual for women to bleed a little after sex. You're at 6 weeks, so cramping is to be expected. Usually it's just your body moving things around to fit a baby in.

I know my hormones has already started to drop. i am not relating this with my pregnancy because during 6/7 weeks of pregnancy i had no symptoms of pregnancy what so ever just slight boobs pain. this has just started to happen. my family think because i am keeping my stress and anxiety inside me thats what causing me high blood pressure, fever and dizzy. if i had this during my pregnancy from the start i would nt have care about it. its only been 3 days and i m having this problem.

If you're vomiting up blood on any occasion, run not walk to your doctor or nearest health clinic. This may be an emergency!
