Avatar f tn Lower back and stomach pain; Vomiting; Diarrhea; Low blood pressure; High potassium levels; Lack of menstruation. My mother had a very low cortisol level and it was caused by Addison's Disease. Later she got Hashimoto's as well Type I Diabetes. I would say that maybe a low cortisol and a high TSH together might be cause for a high starting dose of thyroid medication. 150 mcg to start is quite high. Your doctor obviously has a reason to start you on the high dose.

Avatar f tn It was intended to lessen the pain I experience during menstruation. I am often vomiting, and extremely dizzy during menstruation, to the point where it is affecting my school work and social life. I was checked for ovarian cysts, but they were ruled out. Anyway, since I got the injection, I have been extremely tired, often sleeping in the afternoon, and I have noticed my vagina had developed a different smell. I am not sexually active, so sti's are ruled out.

1535301 tn?1294715518 Also, I have had 2-3 times where my calcium went TOO high and I have had nausea and vomiting. It is hard to tell sometimes because some symptoms of high and low are similar (numbness in head and muscle weakness for example), but when my blood test was taken, it revealed high to normal calcium levels. Two to three days after each episode (during which I take less calcium because otherwise I feel severly nauseous), it drops once again. Does this mean my parathyroids are attempting to work?

Avatar n tn I went into the bathroom and found that there was about a quarter teaspoon of blood on my scrotum and at the base of my penis. I immediately washed myself completely as best I could. I did not notice any cuts or breaks in the skin in the entire area, but I wasn’t using a magnifying glass either. Right now I am having symptoms similar to ARS, which include swollen tonsils (one tonsil in particular is painful), fatigue, body aches, and a rash over most of my body. The rash itches slightly.

Avatar n tn I have tried to get rid of my Menstruation for a couple of months and then once I have my period I get my Uti back. During my Menstruation I take a shower and rinse 3 times a day and change my kotex every 2 hours - I only use the pure cotton kotex pads. I don't use tampons. I am drinking plenty of fluids. I only drink alcohol moderately and 1 cup of coffee a day. I do see a urologist. I have been all of the antibiotics for uti's and I am wondering what I am doing wrong?
