Avatar n tn I take Jamieson brand, not sure if there is soy in it but it definitely does not have artificial coloring. Or if you love by a costco wholesale, they have some by Kirkland brand that also does not have artificial coloring, but again not sure on the soy part.
Avatar n tn What brand of prenatal vitamins is everyone using? Im using nature made with dha. Just wondering if there is one kind of prenatals that are better than another.

4093350 tn?1358096154 I take an omega 3 with dha pill from the jamieson brand. Along with 4 folic acid pills and a multivitamin. I haven't noticed any bad side effects from the pills but I was told to take them after dinner so just in case I did it would be while I was sleeping and not so bad.

427258 tn?1266445242 ATLANTA - Swine flu has been hitting pregnant women unusually hard, so they are likely to be among the first group advised to get a new swine flu shot this fall. Pregnant women account for 6 percent of U.S. swine flu deaths since the pandemic began in April, even though they make up just 1 percent of the U.S. population. On Wednesday a federal vaccine advisory panel is meeting to take up the question of who should be first to get swine flu shots when there aren't enough for everyone.
Avatar f tn I found that most multivitamins didn't have enough folic acid (most have 400mcg). When pregnant and breastfeeding you need more to help prevent neural tube defects and to keep your heart healthy. I have one that has 1000mcg and love it.
Avatar f tn Chances are its the iron thats making you sick not the brand. Try just a plain folic acid and healthy diet on top of it to get your other vitamins.
Avatar f tn Such an aweful feeling. What time of day do you take your vitamins? I spoke with my doc and pharmacist and they both said that there are some brands of prenatal pills that have more iron in them which is most likely the cause of the sickness (but not always). So...I switched to the Jamieson brand and I am taking them before bed. That's helped me a little.
4516107 tn?1356304067 The only thing I do like is Jamieson or James and hubby isint sure about that cause its his brothers name who passed away in a horrible tragedy.
Avatar f tn Issac, Jacob, Colby, Ian, Liam, Logan, Seth, Matthew, Mark, Paul, Sean, William, Justin, Ryan, Adam, Cody, Elijah, James, Jameson (Jamison, Jamieson), Jonathan, Benjamin, Marshall, Donovan, Aaron, Joshua, Jason, Mason, Andrew, Collin, Austin, Gregory...and that's all I can think of for now. :) Good luck and best wishes!
Avatar f tn Try Jamieson Prenatal Vitamin. It worked for me...
4516107 tn?1356304067 ) Only thing I have come up with is Gunnar Jamieson ( that's my husband's brother's first name who past away when he was younger) not sure I'm crazy about it though.
Avatar f tn I was looking online for vitamins and came across somthing called Slimquick for women. It claims that it is designed for women in helping with losing weight along with diet and excirse program. Has anyone tried this? And if so is it safe to take and does it really work if you include this into your diet and excirse program? I know pills dont magically make your body lose weight, but I was wondering if they actually do help alttle?
1679513 tn?1342481238 The cause is likely to be your prenatal vitamins (or rather the source of the iron in them). I assume you are taking them? Whether you are or are not, I have found that a more "natural" form of prenatals is easier on the bowels. The brand I use is Jamieson and they are wonderful for keeping things moving, while still providing a healthy source of nutrients.
Avatar f tn Lol, just thought I'd share this: I just glanced over at my water cooler. It has a little spot beside it for my vitamins and it now looks like a shelf at a health food store lol. I have Jamieson multivitamins, the maximum potency kind, Vitamin B6 caps, StressEase (also by Jamieson vitamins) and the l tyrosine and immodium. I'm armed and ready, lol!! Now I'll need to squeeze a bottle of vitamin C on there somehow.
