Avatar f tn Does anybody have any suggestions on vitamins that I could get for DH? I'm going to wait a few more months before I make an appointment with an RE, but I feel there is something that we can be doing now to help increase our fertility. I'm currently taking pre-natals, but don't know if I should also be supplementing? Has anybody tried the FertilAid, with any success?
Avatar f tn I'm just curious my husband has been working out and taking vitamins and supplements to help him building up muscle, if I were to become pregnant would that affect the fetus..
1393778 tn?1280347609 Hi, im not sure if they help, but my doc told me its good to take prenatal vitamins even b4 i get pregnant cause they prepare your body for the baby. Its good to have the minerals and vitamins in your system already.
Avatar f tn ve heard of men testing and having no sperm count and then years later tested again with a low sperm count. Look into taking vitamins supplements. I know folic acid is good for reproductive health. Have your testosterone levels tested too. Good luck!
Avatar f tn It can be effective when used in the short term for boosting the immune system, but for the long term is usually taken by men. Cod liver oil can be useful for dry eyes and other things that fish oil isn't that good for, but if you're taking it as a fish oil then use fish oil. Why are you taking this particular group of supplements?
Avatar f tn Will "One A Day Women's" vitamins be a good source of nutrition for improving my immune system to help fight HPV?

Avatar n tn Women have a higher demand for iron then men due to monthly menstrual flow. There are 2 types of iron in our food sources, Heme iron and Non-Heme iron. Heme iron is from animal sources and Non-Heme is plant sources. Non-Heme iron has more iron then Heme iron , however, it does not absorbed well into our bodies so it is important to eat foods with Vitamin C and Heme iron foods to enhance absorption.
Avatar f tn Also try the fertility aid vitamins from Pre-Seed they have them for men and women and the lubricant is great too. The ovulation predictor sticks can help you know when you are about to ovulate so you can time intercourse around ovulation for best chances of getting pregnant. I hope this info helps. I know how hard it is to try and try and try with no luck. This disappointment can become overwhelming but keep your eye on the prize, it will all be worth it when you are holding your baby!
1731533 tn?1310152538 Fertility blend for men is another supplement your partner could consider. My DH was diagnosed with a low count and poor motility. We underwent three IVF cycles. DH took multi vitamins for the first two cycles. Unfortunately, the first 2 cycles failed. This last cycle, DH began taking Fertility blend for men and the S/A increased. I'm now PREGO! Have your partner ask his Urologist about Fertility blend for men. You can also purchase fertility blend at ****.com. Hope this was helpful!
Avatar n tn My husband and I have been trying since March so I can understand you're frustrated. Try taking prenatal vitamins. They have vitamins for men and women who are trying to get pregnant, and it's suppose to give you the nutritional support you need. Hope that helps!
Avatar n tn My RE put my dh on clomid last cycle. It seemed to increase his count. I have read that it may not increase the count and that it really is for hormonal imblances. Nonetheless, I have not heard of it decreasing the count. I think you should have more tests done to look into what is going with the count as that is a drastic drop. But remember, on the bright side, it only takes 1, although I know we like to hear high #s, reality/science calls for 1. Hang in there.
1771524 tn?1324630658 yes do some research for sure! i never really thought about getting DH on vitamins but it makes sence if you think about it... i wonder if there are prenatals for guys?? or if you have to suppliment onto their regular daily vitamin??
Avatar f tn A natural supplement called fertilaid regulated my period and ovulation and I got pregnant with my son within a month of taking it! Works great! They also have it for men if her husband wants it too!! FERTILAID, google it! It's awesome!
Avatar m tn Some of them don’t stay in your body for long or aren’t absorbed easily. Most vitamins are safe to take daily. Have you had a blood test to see if you're deficient in any vitamin? Are you eating a healthy diet like this? Eating the right amount of calories each day is an important part of a balanced diet because it is key to helping you maintain a healthy weight. Your daily calorie needs depend on your activity level.
Avatar n tn Or just give it time. It is not abnormal for men to not ejaculate..certainly if they "never" ejaculate it might be worth looking into. I went through a self imposed dry spell of nearly 5 years after a break up (though I frequently masturbated)...eventually was ready for a new relationship and the first few times we had sex I could not ejaculate..of course she thought it was her, I knew it was not..
