I completely understand! Unfortunately, over the years I haven't found the miracle cure to lessen the appearance of those small capillaries just under the skin that lead to the dark circles. And the puffiness goes away only temporarily. I've resumed to a vitamin e eye cream (the body shop), a cucumber eye gel, and a really good two-toned undereye concealer (susan posnick). Let me know if you find the permanent miracle cure!
