vista upgrade to windows 7

My first computer back in 1998 was a HP Pavilion. I loved it, but I think that was because it was my first computer and I was so enthralled with the whole idea of the Internet and being able to keep in touch with far-flung relatives and shop online and all that good stuff.

Has anyone had problems with Windows 7 and microsoft outlook 2007 in not being able to send mail? I ran into this as I recently installed the above mentioned on a toshiba laptop Satellite A505 (I7) 64 bit. I looked online last & saw there have been problems with this going back some time. If I have to resort temporarily to a work around, I can by installing Thunderbird or something similar. Windows 7 didn't come with a native email program like previous versions ..

My daughter killed her laptop and I inherited it. After some CPR it's running pretty good.

What brower and operating system are you using? Windows - Vista, XP, 7? Internet Explorer (7, 8) or Firefox or Opera or ?

Yeah, it does seem to be a vista problem, which I am using (got to get to a VA meeting! (Vista Anonymous!) What I'd really like to know is should I bother pursuing it. Linda, I just logged on to my husbands laptop which has IE (but doesn't say Which IE)and Windows 7 and sure enough, the floating problem so you must have IE 8. I upgraded from my current IE 6 to IE 8 about 6mos ago and encountered the floating thing so it's somehow not compatible with MH. My IE 6 doesn't have this problem and Mozilla Firefox works perfect.

Hi the problem with the notes is I have to click on it 2 to 3 times in order for it to open to send one...I get the Javascript$$: message that appears in the lower and nothing further happens unless I continue to click the 2 to 3 more times. With the ?'s for u feature, when in there ignoring or answering posts I find if I do ignore a few in a row I get a blank screen that I have to close out of MH and reopen in order to move forward. Neone know what this is?

My question is that should I go to a cardiologist to have him listen to my heart again to check if the late systolic click is still present or not? Do you think it might have disappeared? Once there is late systolic click, does it mean I could develop MVP later in life? Thanks.

Hi...I have noticed when some get overwhelmed they change some of those settings to private to cut back on all the notes and such...it may not be u, it may be she is taking a break from others.... and it is easier to just stop all notes and PM's ...or, she may have a glitch and not be aware of it.... If u r in a forum together...just put out a general HI how r u doing type of thing....and if she wants to reply there she will ,and if she wants it private she may reply with a PM.....

t let me go to a lower operating system such as windows 98 which is what my PC is. I can go from 98 UP to vista but not from Vista to 98.

I see others have their trackers up to date so I am starting to think this is a Windows Vista probelm. I am not sure yet. Is there antone else using Vista that is having these problems? Very slow once information has been entered into Tracker. Screen jumps when moving from one section to another of the Tracker. Sometimes the screen just freezes and you have to reboot. I don't have any other problems on the site except at these trackers! They were working fine until Monday.

It might help them troubleshoot if they knew what operating system (Vista, XP, Windows 7) and what browser (IE ver.xxx, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc.) you were using.

hint do not go to best buy, cause they arent, and have a not so good rep for lap tops. I got Intel Premium, windows vista love it . my lap top is 4 sure my favorite thing i got a flsh drive for a gift its got 16 extra gigs of memory. and I have downloaded tons of stuff.Its handy cause you can load stuff into the flash and use it on any computer. we have dial up connection.

It seems like MedHelp is really up to date on things. It may just be a setting in your browser. If you can find it, see how you have it set to check for updates. Mine does it constantly so I don't have to use the refresh button. What system are you using? I have Windows Vista I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I know there is a setting someplace you can adjust I'm just not sure where it is but I'll see if I can find it.

I like Windows XP a whole lot better than Vista. I believe that XP is more stable than Vista. Which do you prefer: Roses or Diamonds (for women)? Football or Nascar (for Men or either)?

Have you all heard, Bill Gates has a computer with a very motion sensitve camera built in that is currently in final stages on testing. It will remove the need for key board or mouse, everything will be activated by the users hands. Game Techs and computer techs are testing it.
