Avatar n tn I wonder what's wrong with my side it hurts. this lady from Tennessee gave me a papsmere and it hurts down there now. It also gets continually worse. I have no insurance after that papsmere she gave me and don't know what to do. I'd like to see a picture of my insides without pain though. Is that possible.???
921053 tn?1245180795 The Chiari Institute is something I have looked into but they don't take insurance!!! I am a single mom with 3 kids and out of work due to this miserable vertigo!!!! I can't afford that.
Avatar f tn October 4, 2010 | Thanks to 30 years of right-wing demagoguery about the evils of "collectivism" and the perfidy of "big government" -- and a bruising recession that's devastated state and local budgets -- we're getting a peek at a dystopian nightmare that may be in our not-too-distant future. It's a picture of a society in which "rugged individualism" run amok means every man for himself.
Avatar f tn Does anybody know if NC Medicaid covers to have your baby boy circumcised? Or know of any insurance that will if medicaid doesn't? And if it isn't covered, approximately how much does it cost to have done & can you pay in increments?
Avatar n tn 1) I now have a grayish spot in part of the center of my vision, shaped kind of like a football that causes reading/sight problems, and 2) My vision is now blurrier than before (was nearly 20/20 and is now 20/60 at best). The surgeon said my membrane was much more tightly adhered than usual so it was harder to remove, more like removing duct tape than scotch tape was his analogy.
Avatar n tn As far as I know, there's no credible evidence that a macular pucker (aka epiretinal membrane, epimacular membrane) disappears on its own. Most cases don't affect vision much, so they don't require surgery. How much vision is restored by surgery depends on a number of factors, including the surgeon's skills and the presence/absence of macular edema. One of the very best vitreoretinal surgeons is Dr. Steve Charles of Memphis, Tennessee.
Avatar f tn Any middle Tennessee moms out there? I'm due in January and live near Murfreesboro.
Avatar f tn i would probably apply at the state you live in. i dont know for sure though.
Avatar n tn Without glasses or contacts I had great near and intermediate vision. Distance vision was good. I could drive, read a book or menu, use a computer, and watch TV just fine without glasses or contacts. About half the time I wore contacts -0.50 LE, -2.50 RE. These contacts gave me very good distance vision that was sharply focused. I could also watch TV without problems but needed OTC cheaters to use a computer or read a book. Even with this -2.
2075786 tn?1342908758 I have the tennessee version of medicaid and I had an ultrasound at 9 weeks...i get my anatomy scan in 2 weeks....and Ive heard people say most insurances only allow 2 ultrasounds....is that true and .does that mean itll be the last time seeing my baby before birth??
Avatar n tn I have a permanently dilated pupil also after detached retina surgery. The doctor left me with double vision, permanently dilated pupil among other bad things. I just want to look normal again even if I can't use the vision in that eye. I'm in middle Tennessee. Do you know of someone who could help me? I've been stumbling around like this for over 5 years.
Avatar f tn The new law is that insurance companys are suppose to cover it. Started this year..
562575 tn?1217292335 I am wondering if there is anyone in East Tennessee that can recommend a Dr. to start me on Sub? I am in need of someone that wont charge the huge fee to get started. I have had no luck so far. I have heard Dr's that charge only 100$ to start. All I've found is the $500 + Dr's. I cant take the Methadone withdrawal anymore....
Avatar f tn I'm from Indiana & my husband makes too much for us to qualify for Medicaid, yet his workplace doesn't offer insurance to his dependents. Luckily, I had insurance through dad, but my baby wasn't able to get any insurance at all so we got a big bill from the hospital for him. They hospital had us take out a loan from the bank to pay it. It definitely stinks! You should definitely get prenatal care because you never know what could go wrong like in my case I had pre-eclampsia.
438514 tn?1305734140 and so glad to hear about how an insurance agency is actually paying for something in full! I did want to say though as a reminder that while you came back negative (which is awesome!) Please continue to get your regular yearly mamograms just to be on the safe side (or whenever you are supposed to get them). I am so happy that it is negative but you still want to continue your mamograms even though it was negative..Im not trying to be a spoil sport..
Avatar f tn In tennessee, you cannot apply until after baby is born. Ours will pay bills back dated up to 60 days, i believe. But here they will do it all as soon as he/she is born.
Avatar f tn A specialist?!?!?!? We have no insurance! If we did I would not be ate up with these fobroids and cysts, they would have been removed by now. So I am in pain everyday, we are paying on our 4x4's which have been stolen from us. We have bills, too! Let's not forget about electricity, water, cable, phone, gas, groceries, etc..... I just do not know where to turn. I cry every day and I am scared everyday. What else can happen to us.
Avatar n tn Pregnant women who harm their babies by using narcotics while pregnant will face criminal charges under a new bill signed into law this week in Tennessee, a move decried by health and women’s rights organizations. Republican Gov. Bill Haslam signed the legislation that would allow women to be charged with assault if they abuse narcotics while pregnant and give birth to a child who is dependent on drugs or harmed as a result.
Avatar n tn What state are you in? I am in Tennessee, unemployed and I am on an insurance called State Only Mental Health Care. It is through TennCare / Medicare. It covers all therapy, psychiatrist, hospital stays and medications for me. You might want to call your local health department and see if they can point you in the right direction. I believe every state has a program for the mental disabled. Good luck!
